It would be the same way as connecting it to the starter. You cut a powered wire going to the pump and put the relay in between. I personally wouldn’t wire it to the pump because I wouldn’t want to accidentally engage it while the car is driving and I wouldn’t want the guest to burn out the starter if they keep trying to turn on the car with no fuel.
How do I figure out which wires to tap into if my year/make/model doesn’t have a diagram on commando alarms? All of the wires on my 2013 Kia soul are taped tightly together so I’m not easily able to pull wires out and examine closely
I see that commando alarms has 2010-2011. Sometimes the wiring could be the same for other year models. Another thing you can do is Google the Kia forums to see if someone has uploaded a wiring diagram or wiring info. My last resort (if you don’t know anyone with access to AllData) would be to go to a small time stereo shop and offer them $10 for the wiring diagram. 😅

I have been working on auto electronics and every electrical device since I was a lil turd taking my new Christmas toys apart to make “Robots” lol! I thought I had seen them all. Thank you sir. Oh when I was a teen (many many years ago) I made my own keyless. You have to get 12v from somewhere else on the car, it wont come from the white or white/black wires. You can find 12v from cigarette lighter, radio, or straight from the battery.
So I hooked it up the same as you on a 2006 Corolla it works great at first then overnight the next day it will not work till I cycle the ignition what do you think the problem is
Hey installed it just like you did, I am having this issue where the unlock gets disabled in the car after the car sits. How do I disable this anti theft feature?
I have an odd question for you, but does the lock work (even though it’s already locked) after the car sits for a while? It could be that your 12v constant is the one not holding power. What make and model car is it? I know this is an issue with BMW.
@@CarSharingJho I have a 2008 carolla and no this is not the case, I tested by rolling down the window and locking it for a while and came back when I hit the unlock button you can hear the click from the relays in the box. I do believe I tapped into the wires for the buttons on the door and not the key lock on the outside of the car because when I went to hit the lock button by reaching through the window it also did not work. Do you think it would be possible to find the wire for key unlock instead of the door button and use that? Dose that system work the same?
@@CarSharingJho but yes the lock works it is only after it sits where the unlock becomes disabled inside the car. Other than that if I get out of the car after running close the door and lock it. The unlock works for a while after but then gets disabled.

@@CarSharingJho the car locks and unlocks all doors from driver side and the car locks all doors after reaching a speed of 20kmhr.. So will i be able to do it?? And it does not have remote key and all
Okay, have a question, that I feel like I should be able to have figured out, but.... I have a similar Amazon aftermarket keyless door lock system and have a weird issue. I have it wires as such from the harness that came w/ the alarm... 1998 Toyota Tacoma SR5 (Electric locks, just no remote capability from the factory) Red (12V+) Black (Ground) White (Pin 13) (12V+ Accessory/Ignition) - With this connected, it seems to lock and unlock the doors when I turn the key to Accessory White (Lock) Yellow (Ground) White/Black (Unlock) Yellow/Black (Ground) The remotes work just fine. It's when the truck is running (or in accessory) that things aren't right. The truck will not lock. I have disconnected the White (Pin13) Ignition wire and I get the same results. So with this white connected. I unlock the truck, get it, start the truck, the locks cycle to locked and quickly unlocked. I cannot manually lock the truck. They quickly unlock again. With this White (Pin 13) disconnected, I unlock the truck, get it, start the truck, the locks no longer try to lock (so this wire is to lock on start) I still cannot manually lock the truck. They quickly unlock when I try. Any suggestions?
Hi, I installed the aftermarket keyless entry system for my 2016 Toyota Corolla but I think it’s killing my battery. Is there an easy way to take it out?
Hi, it shouldn't drain any power if wired properly. Are you sure that's the root cause of the issue? Disconnecting the wire plug from the module will be sufficient to test that theory.
I already check my door lock module underneath my dashboard The brown wire is working for unlock then the green wire is no function But if i press the down latch its working fine pull up latch all doors are smooth locking and unlocking but i already checked with my test light the green wire is giving me signal of light on test light what should i will do
I just installed this on my chevy express van and for some reason now the button for my drivers door does not work at all. The keyless entry system works and unlocks all doors just fine, even drivers door, all other buttons in the van also work for every door, only the drivers side button does not work (this is the one I tied into for keyless entry). Any ideas why this might be? If I take the lock/unlock wires from the keyless entry system off of my drivers door switch, the switch works again. Seems like something with the keyless entry module messing with the switch but I just don’t know why that would be. Figure A is the wiring diagram I had to use btw

I have after market actuators installed on my 94 Toyota Tercel the wires are blue, black, green , brown and White wich wires fo i hook up to the module
I'm sorry, but you would have to find the manual/instruction booklet for your aftermarket actuators or to test the wires individually to find out what each wire does.
hello, my unlock and lock does not work. I connected the white and white-black wires for the lock and unlock. the small module activates when I use the controller. but I don't have any 12 volts coming out of the white wire and the white-black of the module, do you have an idea?
You have to get 12v from somewhere else on the car, it wont come from the white or white/black wires. You can find 12v from cigarette lighter, radio, or straight from the battery.
how do you know where the door lock unlock cable is?
free diagrams online. Google your car information and "alarm installation wires"
color code plus legend in the manual.
So I hooked it up the same as you on a 2006 Corolla it works great at first then overnight the next day it will not work till I cycle the ignition what do you think the problem is
Sounds like the car goes to “sleep”. Where did you connect the 12v constant to? -James
how did you sync up the remotes? i cant get it to sync
They should come pre sync'd
The wire for the key unlock is a physical wire (not electrical) so that wouldn't work.
Which wires did you connect it to: is it a blue wire and a blue/white wire?
Do you think this could be used on a 2016 Chevy Colorado?
Does it have power door locks?
Hi i have installed th systsm almost 2 years but on controller now doesnot work ! I changed battery but same.. any idea how to programize that ?
Have you tried another battery just in case? I have had instances where the new battery is bad/dead too.
If that doesn't work, the system is so cheap that I would just buy another one and swap it out completely, without touching any of the wires.
do these cheap ones have the automatic lock if u forget to lock it yourself after a certain time
They do not have that feature.
thanks@@CarSharingJho
Can you set up an aftermarket key to work with an existing module
You probably can, but that is beyond the scope of what I know how to do.
Whoa those positab thingies are so cool 😲👍🏾
I love them! -James
I need your help I have a 2006 Kia Sportage LX that has power locks etc. I do not have the factory key or a key fob i only have a copy of the key. I wanna know how would I know how to wire this keyless entry system that I’ve ordered? The location is where I find myself struggling.
Here are the wires you will tapping into: www.commandocaralarms.com/wiring/2005-2006/kia/sportage/1225.html
Let me ask you to make I sure it right. In the description or website you listed there will it tell me which is the lock/unlock wires for a 1995 Civic ex coupe??
Yeah here it is www.commandocaralarms.com/wiring/1994-1995/honda/civic/939.html
@@CarSharingJho I had just found it on that site. Thank you for your quick response and help. I’ll give it a shot see if I can get it done.
Update. I did install mine yesterday and it was much much easier than I thought and it looked like with the manual they send in the box. The link you sent me to find the right wires so easy to understand and your explanation of course was very helpful.
Thank you so much for everything. God bless!!
Just got the the kit same as yours,i have 2005 lancer how do i know if i need to use the same wires and type of c negative trigger ?
Sorry for the late response, were you able to figure this out? -James
@@CarSharingJho good day, I have the same question for a mazda 2 2010, thanks
Hey mate i have a fiat punto dynamicn variant.. Will i be able to install this setup on it?
It should be able to if it has power door locks and didn't come with a key fob from factory.
@@CarSharingJho the car locks and unlocks all doors from driver side and the car locks all doors after reaching a speed of 20kmhr.. So will i be able to do it?? And it does not have remote key and all
Yes that sounds like it should work!
Also, did the remotes work as soon as the module was installed, or did you have to open the module and depress the learn button?
Okay, have a question, that I feel like I should be able to have figured out, but....
I have a similar Amazon aftermarket keyless door lock system and have a weird issue. I have it wires as such from the harness that came w/ the alarm...
1998 Toyota Tacoma SR5 (Electric locks, just no remote capability from the factory)
Red (12V+)
Black (Ground)
White (Pin 13) (12V+ Accessory/Ignition) - With this connected, it seems to lock and unlock the doors when I turn the key to Accessory
White (Lock)
Yellow (Ground)
White/Black (Unlock)
Yellow/Black (Ground)
The remotes work just fine.
Does it still not let you lock if you unplug the system unit, but leave the other wires plugged in?
Hi,
I installed the aftermarket keyless entry system for my 2016 Toyota Corolla but I think it’s killing my battery. Is there an easy way to take it out?
Hi, it shouldn't drain any power if wired properly. Are you sure that's the root cause of the issue? Disconnecting the wire plug from the module will be sufficient to test that theory.
Can I just program the keys to the car
I already check my door lock module underneath my dashboard
The brown wire is working for unlock then the green wire is no function
But if i press the down latch its working fine pull up latch all doors are smooth locking and unlocking but i already checked with my test light the green wire is giving me signal of light on test light what should i will do
Were you able to figure it out? What year make and model is it?
I just installed this on my chevy express van and for some reason now the button for my drivers door does not work at all. The keyless entry system works and unlocks all doors just fine, even drivers door, all other buttons in the van also work for every door, only the drivers side button does not work (this is the one I tied into for keyless entry). Any ideas why this might be? If I take the lock/unlock wires from the keyless entry system off of my drivers door switch, the switch works again. Seems like something with the keyless entry module messing with the switch but I just don’t know why that would be. Figure A is the wiring diagram I had to use btw
Did you splice the wire or T-tap into it?
Hey:) I got this in my car from the previous owner but i found out my stock remote central locking works fine. If i just unplug the device from the connector with the cables will my stock remote work?
That should be fine!
I loss original remote. how can Program new key to this unit again...need help
I would buy another unit and replace the whole thing. Very cheap to do.
Hello. Could you tell me which dis gram I choose. My car is Volvo V70 2004. Thank you.

Yes

Can you program any car remote to this locking system ?
or does it have to be this specific fob
I have not tried another remote.
hi!!!
thanks for you video is great and useful.
I have checked the link, to find the wiring (power lock / unlock) for mazda 3 2010, but I cannot find those cables to connect the keyless module, do yo have any idea to find them?
thanks a lot !!!
The lock/unlock will be in drivers kick panel.

Is the 1999 camry negative trigger or positive?
Negative.

thanks for the video. I almost done it.
With the remote control, all doors works except for drivers door.
With the key in my hand, ALL doors works.
not sure what I did wrong...
what is the year make and model?
@CarSharingJho Man it's Daihatsu Terios Bego 2014
@@diegom1931 are you trying to keep the key inside the car and lock it?
@@CarSharingJho I'm outside the car. With the remote, I can lock/unlock all doors except driver door. Still outside, with key on the door lock (manual process) all doors can be lock/unlock....
@@diegom1931 I understand now. It's possible that there is another door lock wire. Where did you find the one you connected to? Was it on the door or on a car computer?
Sir I recently installed xenos aftermarket remote locking system in to my kia sonet problem is my car has auto speed sensing door locks which automatically closes while I start driving but after few seconds door on the driver side gets unlocked what might be the problem
What year is it?
2023 model
Would it be possible to install this on a 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sport?
If it has power door locks it can be installed.
@@CarSharingJho I'm not sure how to tell if it does or doesn't have that
Is there a button inside the car that locks all the doors?
Quick question I been wanting to do this to my 99 honda Accord. The key fob is f**ked, anyways when you click unlock 1x does it automatically unlock all 4 doors? Or will it just unlock the front 2 or just the driver side ? I know most nowadays u have to double-click to unlock all of them ?
It unlocks all doors on 1 click.
Thanks for the vid you made it look so easy.
Where do you conect the brown wires please
To the turn signal wires, possibly in the steering column or you can also try the hazard lights wire.

Pneumatic door locks are operated with air. Almost all vehicles use central locking system and not pneumatic.
Hi your vedio is really good and helpful. I have 2007 nissan march. I am not able to make sure which wire to connect with which. Can u please help.?
I'm sorry I don't know anything about the Nissan March specifically. You should be able to find wiring information online and use this video to connect the wires where they need to be.
Great video!! Does this system do the ‘press once to unlock driver door only’ and ‘press twice for all doors’?
It does not. Just one press for all doors.
Hey I guess I am a little late to this but I am installing this exact Keyless entry system to my Daihatsu boon 2006 originally as per my research this can does come originally with Keyless entry but for some reason my car doesn't have it cause I don't have that key fob now unfortunately I misplaced or lost my Manual so I have no clue if it is Negative or positive Trigger system I request you to please help me out I have been searching online for a whole week I found an online manual but It gives no detail regarding this Also I am very new to all of this electrical things I have no background of this and it's my first time ever I am doing it cause it's my passion
Were you able to figure it out? Most vehicles are negative triggered.
@@CarSharingJho So basically I went out to buy a multimeter and found that on the (suspected) locking wire and the (suspected) Unlocking wire when I lock the vehicle and my black probe is grounded and my red probe is connected to the exposed Locking wire initially the multimeter shows a 0v read and after I lock the vehicle it shows about a spike on the voltage from 0v to 10/11/12V not exactly constant and when I unlock the vehicle it shows a reading of 0.5 to about 1v on the (Locking Wire) and basically the same for the unlocking wire as well so I used ChatGPT it told me that this is a postive trigger locking system as compared to negative trigger locking when the volt is a constant 12v drops to 0v or close to that is supposed to be a negative trigger locking system instead it's completely vice versa for me I'm just informing you this And I'd appreciate if you can confirm that my vehicle is a postive trigger locking system as I have given the complete diagnostic of what occured with me and unfortunately I am unable to find any website or even the link you have provided to help me confirm this issue
I have 2008 Mazda 6 and can't find wiring diagram.
www.commandocaralarms.com/wiring/2007-2008/mazda/mazda6/1399.html
does this increase likelyhood of theft?
Someone would have to know what frequency your car is set to and that you even have an aftermarket system.
Which wires are for positive trigger?
the same as the 12v constant
@@CarSharingJho which colors and which are the ones to be not connected to anything
Apakah anda melepaskan modul yang telah ada sebelumnya, setelah mengaplikasikan modul yang baru?
Only if they are aftermarket.
Does it drain your battery? Some systems do
Have not noticed any draining.
Wow.. Toyota charges 1K in Convenience Package mainly for this purpose. Other things in that package are pretty dumb (power seat-adjustment; why do you need it unless you have multiple drivers, still not needed)
What does negative triggered lock system mean?😊😊
The wires have to be grounded
Hey, thanks for the video!
I got the same kit for my Toyota Celica T200 (1994) Can you confirm if my install will be the same as yours or do I have to wire it differently? (im not sure if mine is negative trigger aswell)
Also the websites states my power unlock has 2 cables, how should i wire it?
Thanks!
On the website it states: "NOTE #1: WHEN CONNECTING FOR UNLOCK, YOU MUST USE BOTH WIRES AND DIODE ISOLATE, to connect."
www.commandocaralarms.com/wiring/1994-1996/toyota/celica/1967.html
So you'll have the 2 unlock wires from the car and 1 from this system, so 3 wires connected together. I just don't know how to "Diode isolate" like it says on the note.
Thank you. Your video was very helpful:) 👍
