@@landonmyoung705 very okay. There's some quirky things. Like if you're chilling in your car with the doors locked and unlock the doors without the remote, the switch or manually, the alarm goes off. Obviously, but you can't shut it off. Since I didn't plug the shutoff relay or the siren, it didn't effect anything. Just the flashing LED is annoying. It's decent enough for the price. I sold the car that had that alarm two years ago, and the new owner hasn't said anything about the alarm going out.

@@Christian-sx2xh more likely it's the control that's bad. The best way is to buy the unit, which isn't too expensive and replace the one you have. This will give you two new remotes. Don't try just buying the remotes unless there's a programing video out there, I've heard people struggle programing it. Also, you'll spend the same amount of money just buying the whole unit. As of right now it's 30 on amazon. It's not hard to swap out, the unit should be under your steering wheel in the kick panel. Hope this helps.

@ I will consider that. I have a second key too and it behaves the same. When I'm inside the car trying to unlock it makes two tic-ing sounds but doesn't unlock. If i try to locking it when it's already locked. It makes the sounds like it's locking it again. Then trying unlocking it will work better than not trying this method to unlock the car. I will try swapping the control unit one day Thank you

@Christian-sx2xh do your actuators work well? I'm having an issue with mine on a cobalt. I'm going to lube things up but it also maybe your actuators going out. What year car you got?

@@MrMK211516 2004 Tacoma, I believe the actuator working just fine because pressing the inside buttons works well. I believe it’s the control unit like you said. I will order when I get the chance. I fear of getting locked out because I don’t have the key to door.

@poraradi1919 the car is gone. My solution was fine. I checked everything on that circuit. Literally disconnected everything on it. Even the obscure computer it had under the rear seats. It was still an issue.

@user-px4nm1jc7x what power are you talking about? To power the unit? Any 12 constant. You could use an "add a circuit" and piggy back off a 12 constant.

Torque the flex plate bolts while the frame is off. Also, it's a great time to do the starter.

⁠@@MrMK211516 ​​⁠ got it knocked out. It took me a good 8 hours to complete. I found it the hardest for me to get the transmission and subframe back up with in my jack. If I had a different jack set up this would have been cut an easy 1 hour plus. Like for example a transmission jack, could have used with a board or something to help lift the subframe as well. My wife made great moral support and helper.. it’s her vehicle anyway 😁. I’m using a low pro jack and a scissor jack. A dang furniture dolly or similar would have helped for sure.. that subframe is heavy. My power steering is electronic so it made it even easier. Your video made getting it done so much easier I’m sure compared to going in blind doing it for the first time 🍻

Yes. I just go by ear when the speakers clip. Usually around 70-80 percent. The terrible purchase is the meter not the amp or sub.

Pull the carpet and spare cover there's plenty of places. Just make sure you scratch the paint off. Wish I could help you more but I don't have my Z anymore.

Thanks. Quick notes, my intake ducts and serpentine belt weren't on. Also no oil or coolant. Also I didn't have enough room to hit them hard enough on the car.

Parts store has a generic wall with 5/8 T fitting. You can also ask the guy at the counter. Sometimes, they'll have them behind the counter visible. Good luck.

Also, use razor to cut the old hose. Just be careful.

If you have time locate a metal 5/8 Tee fitting from parts store .. or order one Otherwise generic platic Tee 5/8 will do ..5/8 all three sides dont forget

Don't stress that's what UA-cam is for. I have had hondas with a list too, and it's worse because you can't go to the junkyard and get the part. If I had a dollar for every cracked gas pump housing on those mid 2000 civics. Everyone has a quirk. This car has been super reliable.
