@@JMRRebuilders thank you for replying back...I pressed the reprogram button and got the button to light up solid. @@JMRRebuilders you're absolutely right. I'm wondering, did you wire up the E brake? My kit came with a 7 pin harness and it shows the 2 brown wires are to be used for either the park lights or one wire to the trunk release and the other to the E brake.
@@JMRRebuilders I'm sorry to keep bothering you. Disregard my last comment. My remote start finally works now. So with this kit, there's a 7 pin out harness. The main two wires that troubled me were the brown with white stripe and brown with black stripe. The options were use the two wires on a positive output for the lights to flash or use brown with black stripe for trunk release and brown with white stripe for hand brake check on negative output. Since I installed the kit on my 02 f150, I went with the logical choice of using the brown wires for the flashers. Anyhoo, thanks for the video and advice, you've been more than helpful. Hope all's well 👍
Hey brother gotta say your the first to ask a question directly to one of us by name. Really neat. Yes in our case since our key unlocks steering column you have to by pass the mechanism. We simply found the piece that is engaged by the key clyinder and disabled the mechanism. I do not work at Duke. Would love to know why you ask that though. Thank you for comment and support.
It has been great has a lot of kinks to work out and been some what frustrating. But once it is dialed in its a great system and the benefits ate great.
Got this and it nice but kinda sucks one time it wouldn’t turn off and just kept trynna start it while it was on so I just reversed and parked again and I was able to turn off after a min or two almost messed up my starter and the remote start doesn’t work it does that unsuccessful start that’s described in the manual
If we wanted to install this on a diesel, how would you recommend to incorporate a delay for the warmer for the plugs (6.0L Ex)? Just looking for thoughts and recommendations.
I'm not sure on that one. I know a couple guys mentioned doing it on one of the Facebook groups. I know it is doable but uncertain on how. Good luck brother
From the instructions I’ve read you can turn on the ACC functions by pushing the button once without applying the brake pedal as the button will not start the vehicle without the brakes engaged.
I remember this being a major pain. I had to look up what kind of lock triggering system we had on our truck and then use the proper diagram. Do you have the wiring diagram that came with the unit??
Here are links for wiring diagrams for the locks. It' as much as I can help really.. Worst case senario is find all the wires and label them, then try the various configs for triggering and give it a try (at your own risk). I have one just have yet to install. No professional wants to do it. There's no us customer service or dealers. Also the professional installers say after time they simply stop working or pke malfunctions. Please give us a followup video or Information on the product please.
I have had one in my car for 6 years with no problems. And I have also installed 5 others
For family and friends and they have been all
Different cars. No issues from any of them
So far. It’s been at least 2 years. I have
Only installed the easy guard ecoo2
What did you use for the "oil feed sense" wire that shows the fuel pump motor? I was just going to put 12v constant to it.
Well we have an after market motor so we taped into the oil pressure sensor to get our signal. Thanks for the comment and support. Greatly appreciated.
Does the a/c turn on when you remote start?
Yes you can set it up so that it does. Thanks for comment and support.
What if car is in anti theft mode will connecting this jump it to the new system will it bypass the red light and start or do I have get original key programmed again then connect this
Hey brother I am not sure this will slove your problem. Sorry. Good luck
What type of car's can you install the alarm
It can go on just about anything. It's up to your ability to make it work.
Loved your video! What is the max distance that you can remote start the truck?
Great question we never tried that. Thanks for comment and support
Is there a link to the product?
Yep. Thanks for watching. Banvie Keyless entry/Push Button Start Alarm System - amzn.to/34XmTzL
Would this system work on a 1996 f350 7.3? It would need the delay for the glow plugs? Any chance u guys near NYC I’d rather pay you to install. Ain’t gonna lie I’m scared to cut wires in my truck lol… great video thanks guys
Hey brother thanks for the comment and the support. Unfortunately we aren't anywhere near new york. It should work for a diesel as you mentioned would Def need the delay for glow plugs. It is doable for sure just takes time and patience. Good luck brother.
Why was it flashing in the first place? I'm dealing with the same problem
I believe the issue was we didn't have the brake wire or another wire connected. Thanks for the comment and good luck
@@JMRRebuilders thank you for replying back...I pressed the reprogram button and got the button to light up solid. Everything works except for the remote start and the two brown wires for the lights to flash aren't working. I did a kit similar to this one on my mustang and everything turned out great. This is kinda driving me nuts 🤣
@Wolf Lord yeah they can be fickle. I'm sure it is something simply like you just sorted. Good luck to ya brother.
Hope all's well 👍
Thanks fb or this video
Hey brother is that how you found us through Facebook? Either way thanks for the comment and support.
How do you turn on the car to use the radio without turning on the engine?
Hey brother thanks for the comment and support. You press the start button but don't put your foot on brake and it goes into acc. Good luck
@@JMRRebuilders ok thank you, so you press it twice without putting your foot on the brakes to go into ON to be able to wind up the windows?
No just once for acc as long as foot is not on peddle. Also can wire in the windows to be controlled by the remote. We just not to
@@JMRRebuilders ok thanks again
Yeah man no worries
Would a person need keyless entry to use this?
This system comes with Keyless entry as well. Thanks for the support and comment
At the very end... was it the truck that was starting up via the remote?
Ya buddy. Pretty slick. Thanks for the comment Ron
Ryan, couple of questions. Did you have to bypass the key? How did all that work? Also, do you work for Duke Energy?
Hey brother gotta say your the first to ask a question directly to one of us by name. Really neat. Yes in our case since our key unlocks steering column you have to by pass the mechanism.
We simply found the piece that is engaged by the key clyinder and disabled the mechanism.
I do not work at Duke. Would love to know why you ask that though.
Thank you for comment and support.
How has it held up after a year?
Still works great and has not had issues. Good luck
@@JMRRebuilders awesome, thanks!
how reliable has this been now that a year has passed? my actuator rod broke on my 95 so I'm thinking this would be a good solution
thanks!
Thats rough for sure. Thanks for the support and comment.
any idea what happens if your key fob is dead will it still start?
can you just place the dead key on the button and start it?
No clue on that I imagine the answer is no. One of the guys we know who did said he keeps a spare set in the truck
No clue
Hi there, do you think it will work on a mid 90s gm truck
Hey brother thanks for the comment and support. It absolutely will. You will need to sort our wiring and such but yes it will. Good luck
I lost my key of my truck will it work still????
Well that sucks. You can get new lock clyinders with cut keys online. Sorry not much help. Good luck to you.
Yes that is correct. I believe he is asking ore for the remote start option as well. But that is definitely helpful. Thanks
Hi can this be installed in a manual transmission car
Yes it sure can just make sure you don't leave it in gear. Good luck
does it still work after a year?
Yes it does love it. Thanks for comment and support
Can make a video explaining how you got your door locks working?
This is the hardest part for me and I don’t even understand the instruction.
This is what I would do. cardiagn.com/kia-cerato-forte-ewd-power-door-locks/ --- full diagrams here - cardiagn.com/kia-cerato-forte-2019-2020-full-electrical-wiring-diagrams/
i have a 1994 ford f150 and i have the same system as you guys, i have the push button working but not the lock and unlock, and i also try to use the remote to start it and it starts for a second then shuts off. Is there anyway you guys could show exactly which wires go where? It would help a lot
Hey brother thanks for comment. Unfortunately we don't have any photos of the wires for the door locks and it took us some trial and error to get it right based on the different wire setups. The remote start thing make me think your oil pressure wire. We just ran it so it get signal at all times. Thereby bypassing it. Hope that helps good luck
@@JMRRebuilders So would it be okay if i just hooked it up to a 12V constant?
@@londonbrokar3524 yes but do realize it will not be a safety that it was designed for
@@JMRRebuilders okay thank you👍🏼
@@JMRRebuildersso i got the remote start to work! the only thing i have left is the lock and unlock. did you guys have to use a special relay for it to work? i got sent a “free relay” with the kit.
What video did you guys watch to install it?
We didn't there isn't one. We just figured it out as we went. Thanks for comment and support
@@JMRRebuilders Why not making one if you guys know the process i'm thinking of getting one but I don't want to mess up my car lol
Thanks for reaching out and that would be a great idea. Unfortunately we are not really a how to youtube channel and isn't something we really want to do. The system is worth 50 bucks and can be easily installed if you have the mechanical know how and desire to get it done. Good luck
You guys so show us in a video which wires you used
Thanks for watching. If you would like that info message us on Facebook or insta, and we will help ya. We appreciated the support.
What brand Is this

First off great video! Are you guys in FL and want to get hired to put one in my car?
Hey brother, thanks for the comment and support. I used to live in Florida. Unfortunately, we can't really take on that project. Good luck
My push button stopped working all the sudden, Bought a new one and installed it but that wasn’t the issue. Any help??
Well it has to have oil sensor wire to start and the brake wire sensor. I would try those and see.
Is this a universal?
Yes it is and can be installed on any vehicle. Thanks for the comment and support.
How do you replace the battery
Glad you asked. Here the video
ua-cam.com/users/shortsEe7ASjbbIBU?feature=share
I wanna install it on my 1989 gmc sierra classic s15
Def doable. Good luck
does it needs a key??
No it doesn't however you will need the key to get the clyinder out and remove steering lock
That proximity unlock/lock may get annoying at car meets/ shows etc
Yeah thats a good point for sure. Thanks for the support brother
What’s the name of that brand? 😮
Hey brother thanks for comment and support. Here is the info on it.
Banvie Keyless entry/Push Button Start Alarm System - amzn.to/34XmTzL
I have a 1995 7.3 powerstroke I can’t find any wiring diagram to hook this thing up any way y’all could help me
Hey brother we don't know all that much about the 7.3. However there is a way for you to get full wire diagrams. Go to www.alldata.com/diy-us/en/find-vehicle
Put your year make model and they should have what ya need. Good luck
CAN THE CAR BE STARTED WITHOUT THE KEY NEAR THE CAR ????? IM SCARED OF MY CAR GETTING STOLEN.
It is a proximity sensor system meaning the systems brain cannot activate without the key fob being near by. So no it can't
@@JMRRebuilders nice thanks! i dont want someone to get into my door somehow and jusst be able to push the button and drive away if im not near the car
Is universal?
Yes it is universal. Would highly recommend having a complete vehicle wire diagram before beginning
What's the Amazon code
We don't have a code. Here is the link

🔥🔥🔥
Thanks brother
A youtube video of guys watching a youtube video, then not linking the youtube video you watched.
Great stuff. Thanks for comment and support
How flexible is the proximity lock system? Unlock is awesome but I think I’d rather have manual control over locking. If you’re getting in/out a bunch, the locking might get annoying.
Push button start and the proximity locks are something I thought was dumb until we bought my wife’s Edge. I also thought remote start was dumb until I had it 🤦🏻♂️
Great work as usual guys, how much more do you have until it’s “done”? Are you doing paint, vinyl wrap or leaving as-is?
Hey brother thanks for the support. The proximity sensor aren't adjustable at all. Best if working on it to leave key in cab.
Yeah that remote start auto unlock and push button really make it nice and convenient.
We are hoping to start body work soon then and complete paint. We do have the ac to finish next video. Then once paints done a couple more upgrades and she's done.
@@JMRRebuilders also cool the fobs look like they kind of resemble a Ford factory fob. Looking forward to the next one!
Yall should of used a toner. Would of helped a lot.
What do you mean about a toner? Thanks for the comment and support.
So I can put this on my 2001 ford f150.
Sure it is universal so could be put on just about anything. Good luck
could you guys do a tutorial how to do this whole process. the instructions suck lol
Hey, thanks for reaching out. That is a really great idea, and I wish we could. However, we really can't go back wards and create that content now. There are a ton of videos that show it better than us.
