After a year I don’t think no contact is working. I suspect she is with someone else but don’t know or really care. 5 years of being a couple down the drain. I would like to know if she misses me, but I am not going to ask. Attachment issues aside, I think the best course of action is to just give up hope and move on. I really can’t deal with this anymore, especially since she left me for no discernible reason. Stay strong everyone.

@morpheus yup, it's really the hoping part that is so painful. after that, if it was a great relationship, realizing that they threw away what you had, for no good reason, makes it hard - rightfully so - to ever want them back. much easier said than done, but "moving on," "letting go" is really the best course of action.

Feelings change like clouds move across the sky,
today's a new day and I feel like I'm alive,
rain washed the pain away, now I don't want to die
my mind was in a disarray, it felt like I was in a fight
I spent my time away, but now I know I'll be alright
I wish you the best, but now it's time to live my life.
Short poem inspired by Craig's famous quote about how feelings change like how the clouds move across the sky.

My first two months after being rejected were tough. I did break NC twice and got ignored! Anyways I have since re-focused my energy by enrolling in Ph.D courses, increasing my workout days, working and doing a internship. So I’ve been very very busy and I feel great! But I do have my moments of missing them but I won’t reach out anymore. I’m holding myself to a higher standard. I just don’t know how u liked me but made it so easy to leave and not even check in on me.

This. My ex came back but it was before i was aware of this kind of videos. Of course i did no personal work to take her back because in fact i was then of the opinion that very few exes come back.
Ergo when she came back (years later) it caught me completely offward. She was an angel and i was a mess, a fearful and too cautious of a mess (afraid it didn't work again). She more than proved her love and i flushed it down the toilet (she even waited more than a year to be with me during the pandemic, which also caused some serious finantial difficulties in my business). My cowardice finally exhausted her and she broke up with me.
It's has been more than 2 years of the breakup and not gonna lie: i still love her.

I have the videos playing in the background as soon as I end my work shift. I have them playing while I clean, I work out and in any activity that requires both my hands and at least before I go to sleep. Sometimes I even fall asleep while the videos are playing 😂 I have decided to focus on personal growth which is building my business again. I started taking classes for new things I want to learn. I keep the house tidy at all times. I listed down all the things I want to work on and started doing it one by one. I logged out of facebook so that I will not be tempted checking him. I do hope that these changes will help me recover and if he comes back, then he'll see that I am better off now than before. I understand we both have issues when we decided to part ways, i hope he's working on his as well.

    Thank you for these videos.
I and. my ex have decided to part ways for now, because i had to go back to do studies and complete my mandatory consription. And she didnt love the idea of being ldr because neither of us knew how long it would take. She expressed that staying in a long-distance relationship amidst uncertainties about the future didn't feel right for either of us. She believed focusing on personal development separately may be best. she and i expressed how we still care deeply for eachother and we decided to see if there was a possibility of a getting back in the future.
at first when she told me about parting ways , i was taken aback. Bwcause i didnt understand what happend. and so i tried to change her mind. We even had planned to get married, live together for the rest of ourlives and have kids etc.
So i tried to change her mind but she told me this was for the best ”for now”.
After realising that it wasnt a definite break up, i started having hope.
This video made me even more confident to try to prepare myself to be vest version of myself for me and for her. for a chance that she would take me back.
But i cant shake that feeling of ” if i had done something differently, we would still be together..”
But in the worst case she will think we were never meant to be and i will be left with better me.
    I hate how life works

No one gives anyone hope... hope is a high vibrational emotion/feeling that higher vibrational beings posses and use according to certain circumstances... people just need to be open and honest to communicate and everyone will play the part accordingly... and then being hopeful that something greater manifests is that higher vibration they both would be in.

      @EdwardDavian1 11 місяців тому +5

Not to be too critical and I appreciate your comment because it gives me a shred of hope, but I'm just tired of these vague and trite responses. People who've been dumped don't want to just work on themselves and hope for the best in the dark only to be screwed over and heartbroken all over again. It's like a cruel game that we have to blindly endure until we maybe get a single word from our exes or we are simply left abandoned with no real answers. The people who have been dumped want clear and direct results, but I understand the nature these kinds of situations aren't so cut and dry and I just wanted to clarify that this can be frustrating to most dumpees. We don't want to meditate, work out, get therapy, take up new hobbies or generally "work on ourselves," because most of us are genuinely good enough as we are. We just need the people who we love that have left us to realize our value and to come back.

    • @HVO2024
      @HVO2024 11 місяців тому +1

@EdwardDavian1 this is true. Have you ever considered that hope could also be a form of prayer or meditative state as to manifest what we do want and that perhaps the dumper was following their intuition/higher self to leave as a message from the most high/universe/God to make way for exactly what we have been "hoping" for???

To all my doubters & non believers. Although it may not be guaranteed to go no contact and be radio silence as well, boooyyy!! the mother of my kids was so sure she didn’t want anything with me. 7 months later no contact no nada(nothing) she came back literally begging for another chance. It’s showing rite about now that nothing will get in the way for us to rekindle things together. But here’s where it gets tricky y’all just make sure you give them little by little and not just everything at once. You have the right to show that you’re a bit reserved.
I could love her but here on I know I could do without her cause I’ve done it so know you could too. Just work on yourself stay busy and life will start to throw beautiful people at you maybe even perhaps you’re X 😉😊

Feelings only change when behaviors change. When someone stops treating you with patience, kindness, respect, and love it becomes difficult to remain in those many mindsets toward them. I'm not holding on anymore to someone who let go of me long ago. He underestimated my ability to reajust and adapt accordingly. He believed he could run around the country seeing to his "various other comittments" and id be here waiting for him like some silly school girl, vying for the love of a man who is emotionally UNAVAILABLE. I was in live with who he "pretended to be," which was not at all who he "actually turned out to be." It is so much easier to get over someone when you realize that theyre not all who you thought they were.

Actions speak louder than words.... she may be frustrated now she cannot keep tabs on me and reach out.... 🙏

What if after 5 1/2 year monogamous relationship, he monkey branched to someone else who is married, and in an open relationship with her husband, and now he says that non-monogamy is what he wants? He calls it a "friends with benefits" situation with her. I've just been gutted. It's been 7 months now since he left for her.

And if she started dating someone new within about a month?
Don’t think she’s missing me lol
She’s said “ I want to keep my distance and for you to move on”
And that’s unfortunately just not possible yet.

I feel this way, too. It's been 7 weeks. I broke no contact for first time, sent a brief msg via text. I suspect he saw it. I d k if I'm blocked. I texted to tell him if he wants to get back in the group ( patriot group we both belonged to) that I will not bother him. He's a workaholic and this group did help him emotionlly but because of wanting to avoid me, I think, he's not participated. He is a dismissive aoidant and had suicidal tendencies when I met him.

Apart from behavioral changes, do they come back even if they break up on the financial insecurity as he recently got the job, which he thinks will pay him less but,got if after so much of hard work, and I'm still studying and giving entrance exam for my master's college,
it will take me almost a year to start earning. what his reasons and behaviors indicate that , he dont want a future with me as of now because he consider me as a burden on him(tha's what i think the major reason of break up). but he does contact me time to time after i have started no contact a month ago. i do love him but i haave told him i cant be his friends, as i still have feelings for him...but even after telling this he calls and texts. i feel bad n hurt but still picks up his calll...thinking he might get upset and if he's considering to come back, he wont come!!!!
what should i do, its affecting my studies too 😓😓.

From what I've read, women feel a breakup worse initially but they do much more work to process it upfront, whereas men will tend to just move on and avoid it or distract themselves, but because they don't do a lot of processing upfront, they suffer later and their processing is delayed
This could explain what you were saying

But e daid he lost desire and me being autistic was really hard for him! I just wonder! Im not chasing, but i will move on if there is no chance... And just do the growth part.

I got dumped twice too by my ex. The second time actually hurts worse than the first. The only course of action for you is to move on. If they did it twice, they will always do it again. Completely aim towards killing all feelings and attachment and move on. No ifs and buts. Remove yourself completely from his life and strive towards healing. And if he ever comes back…. for the love of God pls do not go back. You are strong enough to brace through the pain and come out untop. Hugs.

My x ignores and become so cruel, it happen once we cross way then he didn't even look at me, it hurts a lot when I ask him why then he says I shouldn't not even allowed to look at him in the eye,, for myside it's not acceptable bcus I give him everything, I provide everything for him,,, it's really hurt knowing we love them yesterday suddenly change to cold and stone person, now I'm on 7weeks of no contact not to get him back but to get myself back, I think he start to notice it bcus he suddenly unblock me on social media,,, I still love him so much but I cnt find myself to forgive him, the injury on my heart is just too deep and the pain never go,,.
I wish for him not to reach out,, I'm not ready at the same time I dnt miss him....I start to hate him.

Cruelty to you is probably not his conscious plan. If it is, please get rid of a psychopath. For most people it is so common to avoid things, because it is an easiest way. Your pain will go. If possible, watch videos on attachment styles, my guess is that you have anxious attachment style (prolonged pain after breakup, "providing everything for him" etc. Myself having a breakup in my old age, thinking I will spend my whole life with my ex. Best of luck!

Mistakes? Repair? I have no idea what you're talking about. Not that I'm really trying to own up on my end. I'd really like to do so. I don't think it's up to me to repair a relationship that someone else destroyed.

I agree. He needs to work on himself before he gets in a relationship with anybody. His behaviour was selfish and controlling. If this couple would had been in a situation in which she depended on him (financially or because of children or whatever), he would have gotten away with all of this and this poor girl would have been absolutely miserable.

Exactly, secure women are even more set to leave a relationship. Of course, it is a freedom based choice and possibility of every person in democratic societies. Being in a relationship with 2 kids for over 12 years and believing this will last to an end... My ex suddenly left me, because "she was not happy". I had to go through a second Matrix (red pill they call this). When she left me, even my family was putting all blame on me, I lost all my money etc... After months I realized how much I have been lied to about women by society. And getting Karma, because I have had contempt over fathers fighting for having at least some time with their children, or trying to prove their innocence over charges like abusing children etc.
