You and your father look good together,...... individually too 😁😉......and you are both an example, and proof, of how one can persevere through terrible circumstances....and come through that with peace, insight and love. Love is truly the foundation. Again...thank you for sharing this.
Great podcast Peter. Really enjoyed watching it. Ah what a lovely man your Father is. Its great to see the love and respect yous have for each other and the fab communication between yous. Your father is right, its only when someone goes through the worst situations in life that you really see who stands by you and who has your back 100%. When you have an amazing family like yours to love and support you that will help see you through the hardest of times. ❤
I'm sure it made a huge difference in your journey having supportive parents. Your Dad seems like an AWESOME, kind and compassionate person. I am sure you sharing your story will help others who are positive. Good on you!! Do you think the stigma has anything to do with the grim reaper advertisements put out about AIDS back in the day? Juat a thought... 🤔
Yes those advertisements certainly didn’t help. Plus there’s so much misinformation out there. Thanks for your comment… I’m certainly blessed to have the parents I have.🙏❤️
Thanks for your comment my friend…The human immunodeficiency virus is classified into two main types: HIV-1 and HIV-2. HIV-1 was discovered first and is more prevalent worldwide, while HIV-2 is less pathogenic and is mostly confined to West Africa. So when we generally say HIV, we are referring to HIV-1. The fundamental differences between HIV-1 and HIV-2 infections lie in the mechanism of retroviral pathogenesis, which is not fully clear yet. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 166 HIV cases in the US identified between 1988 and 2010 met the center’s definition of HIV-2 infection. The majority of cases were reported in the Northeast and either originated from or were linked to West Africa.
