- The LS7 clutch is one of the most popular clutch upgrades for a V1 over the stock configuration. Ditching the dual-mass flywheel for a lighter setup means a quicker revving engine that has much less rotational mass in the driveline.

Just upgraded to an ls7 clutch on my 00 ws6 after my clutch completely died. I always had this weird noise at idle when I let the clutch pedal out since I bought the car like 2 years ago it was like a Constant whirly marble kinda sound but when you pushed the clutch it would go away. Well when I went to pull the pilot bearing it was no longer a bearing just a big metal race with a bunch of black magnetic powder. I guess at some point in the cars life the needles somehow disintegrated me and the previous owners got super lucky and it didn’t damage the Input shaft. With this new clutch everything is so tight and quiet it’s like a completely different car! I’ve only got like 28 miles on the new clutch but so far definitely loving it!

Hey Mike, did you ever get an answer for the uneven wear on the LS7 clutch you pulled out?
How much power do you think ls7 LUK clutch can handle ? I got a 240sx 6.0 turbo. Looking to make 500-600whp
I think around 475 lb ft of torque is where they tend to hit their limit. Although a 240 is lighter, so it could work.
Hey what’s up bud, so I my slave cylinder is puking fluid and my pedal is down to the floor. I have a full Luk LS7 clutch and I plan on running the LS7 flywheel as well paired to LS7 slave. Is there anything else that is needed or any tips in regards to running full LS7 clutch?
No sir. As long as you do everything LS7, it should go together easily!
