This sure takes a lot of expensive "scratch." My Dad made one from 2x4's, rope, small discarded tires, and an old B&S engine. That go-kart flew and handled great!

that gokart would also be a widowmaker in a crash lol, pretty cool though i love seeing what people can do with some leftover metal/wood and old engines
@@xander4218 Depends how fast you're driving these gokarts...for 9/10 use cases 2X4s is fine if you join them right and replace the lumber when it gets tired. Just add something flexible and make a bumper skirt if you're really worried about it.
@@jacoblami1731 yea also the quality of the lumber matters a lot, im not saying it's super dangerous and you shouldn't, but obviously a stronger frame would be ideal :p

So the only thing that prevents the rear end from sliding to the sides are the small screws from the bearings that hold on the axel?

te diste cuenta que la construcción de las bieletas de la dirección lo pusiste en vertical los apoyos y cuando mostraste el resultado final estaban en horizontal. ya que en geometría un apoyo de bieleta de dirección hace que con el mismo giro de volante. una rueda gire mas que la otra. haciendo mala conducción. por muy alineado que este.

Yes he does it so that the wheels can be flat because the spindle he uses is angled down and when it bends up it becomes straight
