This sure takes a lot of expensive "scratch." My Dad made one from 2x4's, rope, small discarded tires, and an old B&S engine. That go-kart flew and handled great!
that gokart would also be a widowmaker in a crash lol, pretty cool though i love seeing what people can do with some leftover metal/wood and old engines
@@xander4218 Depends how fast you're driving these gokarts...for 9/10 use cases 2X4s is fine if you join them right and replace the lumber when it gets tired. Just add something flexible and make a bumper skirt if you're really worried about it.
@@jacoblami1731 yea also the quality of the lumber matters a lot, im not saying it's super dangerous and you shouldn't, but obviously a stronger frame would be ideal :p
This is the best video I’ve ever seen in a while. This guy here is someone who truly wants to show someone how to do something because every other video you could find someone trying to do this is spending thousands of dollars or is not showing you how to do it correctly this man here is an example of someone who could do something correctly and cost-effectively. I was gonna build one of these over the summer, and I had no clue where to start but this man here showed me how to get started correctly and at the same time it looks pretty cost effective so if the man who made this video sees this, I would love to say thank you and you could truly do good work in the world
@@Potato37184would have been better with a hodna clone 212cc predator . Tons of parts avail to buid them . Mines stage 3 rn .lol smokes 450cc dirtbikes
As a guy that hasnt weld anything yet, this is appreciated. But now i have to get a grinder. The horror videos of grinders gone wrong are making me think twice
I mean the product looks good but because there is no instructions on how to build it and what to use to build is kinda disappointing as the title does say "HOW to build a go kart" not "Me building a go kart"
Also, on this comment, this is the 1st cart where the frame was not welded. Why not welded? It's not t hat hard, and like the man says, with corners and stress, I don't think this frame will stay together...
why edit main content to 3 minutes and then show reruns of previous videos? I would have watched 30 minutes of the go kart build.
Yeah, you are so right this video is a really bad optimisation of UA-cam content...
He just wants the Adsense cash
Yes
Same
Be glad he even actually made a go kart
I learned more about the "little things" watching this video than 5 others. Thanks for sharing!

from scratch just means he built it doesn't mean he built it horribly
It's still from scratch

your set up actually makes sense
give this man a medal
Would love more detail on the go kart build
got to love those Grade 5 bolts with no thread lock or nylon inserts......
Well it’s a children’s go kart. Not the ISS.
Please explain the throttle and brake system in detail. What parts are needed, what is connected and why. Thanks in advance. 2:32 min😊
lotta skilled work here.
it amazes me how you manage to slap those wheels on!🤪
Great video, do you have build plans for this project or a material list ? Thanks !!
Decent version 1 go kart, time for Version 2
So the only thing that prevents the rear end from sliding to the sides are the small screws from the bearings that hold on the axel?
the build is awesome but could you tell me what engine you used thank you.
Is that a pressure washer motor on the back of the kart?

Quite a lot of bought parts to call this "built from scratch..."
I'm gonna be building my own go kart soon except it's gonna look a little more like a truck I call it a "BK Mega Terrainer Go Truck"
you should of have a list of all materias and sises so other people can build them too
Can you give a list of materials and blueprints
That bike build was next level!
Great video, great music.
where did u get the live axle from?
how is the drive for the 2 wheels in rear, is both are driven or only 1 wheel is driven?
About 1 video card can I show the view from the bottom of the assembly and the location of the parts? In general, the video is good thanks!
you sure did slap that whole thing together :D
Good idea
Gold hand. 👍👍👍👍👏👏👏
this guy is a genius man... LOLLLLLL wish i had that talent...
You're kidding right ?
I built a better go kart with a welder as a 14 year old
It’s not talent just educate you’re self with a couple videos and it’s easy
Yo thanks bro it worked 🔥
Dude your a beast for real
Total cost of the kart build?
Super cool go kart build how much did it cost you? And what engine is it
Like 49 cc

I believe, with the weight he's got, he'll need at least a 420 to push it around...
It's very close to colinfurze's go kart
Mind-blowing!

Wear eye protection!!
This channel is more about pumping video than helping people build something they could use. If any of this crap is still working I'd be shocked.
That front axle had me cringing...
@@TylerNapo I paused the video and went to see if anyone mentioned this
Engine used?
The dogs are definitely gonna chase you on that last bike 🚴
Dudo que alguien conteste, pero por las dudas sabes dónde se consigue el motor que ocupaste en el go kart?
Nosotros utilizamos un motor de bomba de agua o tambien puedes usar uno de moto
How do I get a parts list for all that custom stuff he has on the build?
Yellow nice 👍
What engine you use to kart?
Could u send me a link of where u got the tires and the rear sprocket? Thanks
What is the rope called for the brake
Impressive build...
How'd you learn to do this?
Please, do a more detailed video from the kart part, like step by step
music hitting hard im here bouncing on my seat
Can you add a parts list
what are the dimensions of the frame and what parts are needed to build this go-kart
How much do you cost this ?!
Where do you get the parts?

where can i buy those wheels?
A great work vehicle or fun kart
Awesome! 😃 But it spins out, why no one just tries to put pvc on the 4 wheels? 🤷♂️
3:42 where the video actually starts
The go cart is abit low to the ground for any real off road isn’t it?
Very heavy, and the frame isn't stiff enough. You will be struggling to go fast around corners
Also, on this comment, this is the 1st cart where the frame was not welded. Why not welded? It's not t hat hard, and like the man says, with corners and stress, I don't think this frame will stay together...
is there a parts list for this
5:28 hi what tipe of mig mag is that machine?
The ultimate welding dodge
Engine horsepower?
Can you send me the measurement of all components
Did I miss something or is the front suspension basically cuts out of the steel that allows it to flex? 😱
I was thinking the same thing!
Yes he does it so that the wheels can be flat because the spindle he uses is angled down and when it bends up it becomes straight
it's to add caster to the wheels to let the gocart turn better
So ....we can find these at IKEA?
Hello how can i find this plan karting car?
What is the break shifters name
I MADE MINE OUT OF WOOD 13 YRS OLD ELECTRIC MOTOR. USED A 100 FOOT EXTENSION CORD.
Is there a blueprint of that go kart build
Im gonna make it
Ik im late but do u think it’s smart to even safe to build the metal frame out of wood
Where did you get the ball bearings?
From a ball bearing shop.
You are the best straight to the point
Wait, your not actually just using the bend of the frame for suspension are you?
Hp?
Donde compraste el motor
I need help making mine
Shi* aint easy like he made it look in the video
Bro can we get a list of the parts
Nice
can you's make a quad-bicycle, please.....
You would have better steering if you put a full rod from left to right and then a half one on whatever side
What is the measure ?

De que es el motor o como se llama
nice!
Use galvanized square steel and screws permanently borrowed from aunt for maximum efficiency!!
I don't mean to nitpick....but wouldn't scratch mean iron ore and a smelter?
sorry, can I ask you a question, what is the lenght of the four bars for the chassis?
posso sapere per favore la lunghezza delle 4 barre del telaio?
engine name
What size bolts ? How did you stop the bolts coming loose ?
En realidad debe ser q pone un perpor
Much better off to weld it and build a better designed frame than this junker
Should give some credit to Colinfurze for this, almost identical build
Where did you source the live axle kit?
