But there's so much nuance for and against that I can't just outright say "no borders, no walls". The US immigration system is *absolutely* broken. The amount of bureaucracy to doing it the "right" way makes it just stupid to try to go that route unless you're a billionaire. The blame doesn't lie on the people crossing the border, as just bypassing the bureaucracy is really the only way to do it at this point. To go even further, I don't like the concept of borders to begin with. They're arbitrary and archaic. Now, sure, there's the argument of protecting our autonomy, and who settles disputes and such.. and I get that, I'm not saying that's how it should be now, just that I hate that it is the way it is. @@bewareofsasquatch it'd be easy to just say no and call it at that. The ideal answer is no. I don't want it... But there's so much nuance for and against that I can't just outright say "no borders, no walls". The US immigration system is *absolutely* broken. The amount of bureaucracy to doing it the "right" way makes it just stupid to try to go that route unless you're a billionaire. The blame doesn't lie on the people crossing the border, as just bypassing the bureaucracy is really the only way to do it at this point.
To go even further, I don't like the concept of borders to begin with. They're arbitrary and archaic. Now, sure, there's the argument of protecting our autonomy, and who settles disputes and such.. and I get that, I'm not saying that's how it should be now, just that I hate that it is the way it is. I don't really have a solution, but I don't think anyone in charge does either at this point.
So to come back to the original question, do I support it? No. Do I think it works? No.. do I think it's a good idea? No.. i get why people do, though, and i can't refute some of their arguments (benefits programs without taxation and such), but it's a broken system, and throwing money at an arbitrary wall just because the two sides can't figure out the root cause of why it's happening is just asinine.

Actually, I really like this one. In Russia we have original song every year every Christmas and it, to be fair, started to be boring, but this version has some really fresh breath into this song.
I understand some people become offended easily, I used to be the same.
