Sooo happy I made it! Not going to lie.. there was definitely a moment half way through where I panicked a bit because my knees were so sore. It's crazy what we can get our bodies to do hah and it was so much fun!

Great video of the NYC marathon, which I also ran, after watching a ton of videos this is the first one I shared as it really shows off the vibe of the runners but also the crowd.
Great race. You all did a fantastic job of showcasing why I love running races. Competition is important but camaraderie, crowd energy, and being part of something grand and amazing is what is most memorable for me. Hope to see y’all out there at some point. Exercise and fitness should be a party!

It's easy to go overboard drinking water in a marathon. My first marathon I felt absolutely horrible at the end, and I'm pretty sure it was because I drank way too much water.

Well done on completing the distance. It's a major accomplishment whatever the time and although you did it at 'party pace' I see you still finished above half way. It'd be interesting if one day you really trained for a Marathon. As you're a professional sportswoman your level of basic fitness is going to be high anyway and you might surprise yourself with what you're capable of achieving. 👍😀
I love watching unexperienced runner getting so hype in the start line before the race and have fun like 10 miles and then hit the wall and finish the race walking. You should respect the distance, marathon is no joke son. Dedicate your life!

Just because they had fun and enjoyed the experience doesn't mean they are "unexperienced runner" (whatever that means). You don't know anything about these people if you are throwing out comments like that. Angie is an athlete, she is fit. She trained for this AND had fun. This inspires me more than people who are miserable the whole way.
