Replacing door speaker in 2017 Ram 1500

In this video, we replace the speaker in the rear passenger door in a 2017 Ram 1500 pickup truck. Sorry about the audio issues... not sure what happened there!

Had the same code, same door and same problem on my 2014 Laramie, 32 meg ohms on mine. Used an infinity 2 way replacement set on both doors, worked well.

So what are you going to do about the rain coming in? I have a 2017 hemi and that same speaker was working fine till it started raining. I think the root of the problem is water damage due to rain

In my case, I take some ownership of the problem as I will wash the vehicle with a pressure washer from time to time, and dry it with a leaf blower.

Nice video - 2016 Laramie owner here. Did you figure out where the water was coming from and repair that?
