@@RJBWoodTurner I checked out the site and what a variety of blanks. I like to turn the Civil War pens and would love to find maybe some old CW muskets to use for pen blanks. Or something related to the CW.

Michelle was worried that the lighter fluid might react with the Alumilite blank. If I don’t glue it on, I can remove the blank to fill the lighter.
With the Jimi lighter, I got lighter fluid on the blank accidentally and did not see any negative effects.
Gluing is also tricky because the glue squishes out everywhere and you have to be sure to get it all cleaned up so it doesn’t get on the blank, inside the lighter, or on the lighter components.
