Last year I had a really challenging moment when my son was diagnosed with a kidney disease called FSGS (Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis). We thought it would break our family apart, but moving through the initial tears, made us realize life is precious and that we need to hug, kiss and be close to each other every day and through that we could ‘rise up’ and face his illness together. I hope that Once A Day brings inspiration to anyone in this world who is going through challenging times. Through music, dance and gratitude for this life we can all ‘Rise Up’!” --Michael Franti

I love Michael franti. He has no drugs, nudity, or anything like that in his videos. He just has such a positive attitude that can bring smiles to everyone and help them. His music is feel good inspirational. I love him
The last time I saw and hugged Michael was in Bali New Year's Eve/day 2012/2013, I have met him and the band many times in various continents since 97.
In April 2013 I had a motorcycle accident which left me paralysed from the neck down and All People helped me in my recovery and rehabilitation.
Thank you Spearhead for being one of the best live acts I have ever seen. Looking forward to you coming back to the UK sometime soon.

My son turned me onto Michael Franti about a year ago. He recently unexpectedly passed away. Listening to MF's music both breaks my heart and brings me a bit of joy and hope. Music is a passion I'll forever share with my son and I'm grateful for these songs.

My friend introduced me to Michael Franti. We lost him a month ago to cancer. Playing Michael Franti will now always remind me of him. His funeral is on Monday and this song will be played.

Michael Franti makes tunes that guarantee a smile on your face. I was introduced to him to my late, great friend Richard. Unfortunately Richard succumbed to cancer 18 months ago, but this song was played at his memorial service. When i hear Michael Franti i think of Richard with some sadness but also great memories. RIP Richard and i hope Michael Franti will continue to make music like this x

I've got to meet Michael Franti in person ! I went to a concert for the cure back in October of 2015 . I had My picture taken with him he is really down to earth one of the nicest person you'd ever want to meet !

I have heard his music over the years and liked it. Over the past couple years been through some tough family times and really been doing some soul searching. Lump on top of that everything that is going on right now in our country and in the world and it is easy to be down and cynical. But I had the opportunity to see him live at Red Rocks a week ago. I can honestly say that I have never been more personally impacted by a show in my life. I left that show with a true desire to be a better person. A better husband, a better father and generally a better human. Since that show I have striven every day to figure out what little thing I can do each day to make the world a better place. He said at the start of the show that he got into music because he thought that it could change the world... I think he is doing it. Thank you Michael and your whole organization for doing what you do.

We played this going round the shops at the height of lockdown. To remind people that living in fear wasn't gonna do any body good. Seeing the smiles in people's eyes helped allieviate my own fear we were losing each other.

No one is guaranteed nothing there comes a time in life when you have to lay your differences a side . I've lost a lot of family members My grandparents on dad, s side of the family is gone my dad & his brother are gone & My mom side of the family she lost a sister & two brothers. Before that her dad was a alcoholic . That's what killed him . Was the alcohol . At least I'm glad that I at least had two grandparents on dad,s side that really made a difference in
