Watched this movie for the first time today after watching this vid a while ago. Forgot about the vampires so when they started showing up I was shook. Reminded me of when my friend didn’t tell me about the aliens in battle Los Angeles.
The demo of this that came on a PC Gamer CD was fun enough, though I had no idea what was going on. At the time I wasn't aware of the movie so I was perplexed by the game title. Eventually I saw the movie and then had more questions than answers for the game dev team.
Okay I’m genuinely curious because I’ve seen this film, have read plenty of reviews, and yet you and 35 other people think this film is excellent. What about it is so good other than the positive changes to the lead female? Especially when held up to the original.
He definitely should do The Devil Inside Halloween Special. That game hunts me since I have played the demo in 22 years ago. Underrated piece of crap, but with heart.
I love to watch your vids, civvie. Not because the games are so interesting, it´s your voice & your sarkasm what keeps me here. Keep going ;) Thank you for your work.
That was hilarious! I was too lazy to try to install this game on my modern Mac laptop, so I’ve found this video instead, satisfied my nostalgia and had a lot of good laugh. Thanks!
I could be wrong and this might vary from State to State, but I thought that if a robber kills an innocent person during the course of a robbery, it doesn't matter who pulled the trigger. Everyone complacent in the robbery is guilty of murder.
This is irrelevant though considering the news documents multiple murders of police men commited by Seth in the beginning of the movie, Which includes a sheriff and Liquor store owner who he burns alive along with his business. Then again this game seems to think the first hour and half of the movie didn't happen.
Definitely my favorite episode so far. The skits really kept it from becoming as dry as your newer stuff can get, and did concepts of your earlier videos much better. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the video, I read about that game (Cryo's games are really something, sadly GOG can't bring them back) and never knew why nobody talked about it anywhere. Also - Devil Inside rlz. Would play it but sadly my source of old (and really obscure) games is gone, thanks Nintendo... "these deathrows lives like kings" - sounds like prisons in Poland, where they have way better food than the hospitals and schools. Way better... These unlimited bullet time moments remind me some Matrix mod for Max Payne, replayed Parking level every day after school for relaxation, good times. Ukraine? Where they made amazing Boling Point which STILL didn't reach Steam?
@@TheOneAndOnlySame thanks for the source but I managed to find site where they restore some old and obscure games (because early 3D era games are really bitch to run, that include Cryo's games) on Collection Chamber. Oh and new IsoZone returned but they lost some titles because they had moron in charge who sabotaged some stuff inside.
The Devil Inside. Holy Shit! That's a blast from the past that apparently I'm the only person who ever played it. Honestly that game was ahead of it's time it was like RE4 like 5 years before RE4 came out.
Lots of 3D games in the 90s looked good and Half Life is one of them. It just depends on the game, as while early 3D can look good, that doesn't mean bad ones don't exist. Same for 2D, considering the Famicom was the first console not to have graphics that always sucked. Tomb Raider 1-5 all look good, Descent and Freespace look good, Unreal, both System Shocks (moreso the second one), Quake 1, the Dreamcast Sonic games, Burning Rangers and Lego Racers, just to name the ones I can think of off the top of my head.
I don't know if it necessarily looked better but it certainly didn't have as many glaring issues, like the face seams and flat hands. Otherwise this has way more detail than half life, which is to be expected since it came out 5 years later.
I got a boxed copy of devil inside, it’s one of them games from when I was a kid that I go back and play every few years. It’s really shitty but in a endearing way

Incidentally, the remake of Night of the Living Dead is goddamn excellent.
It's a good reimagining of the original but it's only okay, in all honesty
Ok kid
Okay I’m genuinely curious because I’ve seen this film, have read plenty of reviews, and yet you and 35 other people think this film is excellent. What about it is so good other than the positive changes to the lead female? Especially when held up to the original.
Kyros Droztamyr how many times does civvie have to make fun of you boomer-kin before you leave
@Kyros Droztamyr Barbra was the worst thing about the original movie, the remake fixes that.
This is beyond raw. It’s still moving.
Wow, how did I miss this episode. Thank you civvie.
Lovely - we've got some more Civvie's backstory!
The review at 1:43 was written by Erik Wolpaw, one of the main writers of Half-Life 2.
All these references to your past mistake with Mila Kunis are just killing me. I love it.
He definitely should do The Devil Inside Halloween Special. That game hunts me since I have played the demo in 22 years ago. Underrated piece of crap, but with heart.
Just now checking out your backlog after discovering your channel. I really like this format of video, bring back Cancer Mouse.
He was in the Hexen 2 video
Civvie is way too under rated, Why are you not more popular, these reviews are a god send for my sanity holy fuck.
Huh that ign review was from Erik Wolpaw who wrote for valve. I thought you would have caught that civvie.
I love to watch your vids, civvie. Not because the games are so interesting, it´s your voice & your sarkasm what keeps me here. Keep going ;)
Thank you for your work.
That was hilarious!
I was too lazy to try to install this game on my modern Mac laptop, so I’ve found this video instead, satisfied my nostalgia and had a lot of good laugh.
Thanks!
Doing gods work Civvie, Cancer Mouse is a thing that needs more exposure.
Pretty sure cancer mouse has already had enough exposure, considering he has cancer in the first place.
@Stix N' Stones Why not both?
@Stix N' Stones He did have cancer, but he gave it all away
10/10 for rockin some on-theme Gorillaz
The tattoo is on the wrong side...
It's so hard to find games that are so bad they're good, but when you do it's fucking hilarious.
Still one of my favourites. Thanks man.
This is the only channel that makes me actually laugh
I could be wrong and this might vary from State to State, but I thought that if a robber kills an innocent person during the course of a robbery, it doesn't matter who pulled the trigger. Everyone complacent in the robbery is guilty of murder.
Or at the very least are accessories
If I remember right, that's called "felony murder", where someone died during the commission of a felony.
This is irrelevant though considering the news documents multiple murders of police men commited by Seth in the beginning of the movie, Which includes a sheriff and Liquor store owner who he burns alive along with his business. Then again this game seems to think the first hour and half of the movie didn't happen.
I freakin' loved The Devil Inside, not a perfect game but it's a nice little underrated gem.
I love all of your videos, bro. Keep up the good work.
@6:35 THIS IS A HAPPY PLACE! Why does that remind me of Freakazoid? Oh right, when he chews out Jeepers.
"This dude gave me an unloaded gun to cover him... what an asshole."
the way the vampire dude says "son of a beetsh" always gets me
The cancer mouse song is kinda saving my life right now. Thanks for all you do, hope they let you out for a little sunshine sometime soon.
Bro I love this video so much. It’s all just so cursed and chaotic😂
The cancer mouse bit had me in stitches hahahaha.
Definitely my favorite episode so far. The skits really kept it from becoming as dry as your newer stuff can get, and did concepts of your earlier videos much better. Keep up the good work!
OH WOW THE DEVIL INSIDE! SO NOSTALGIC!
I wonder if CV-11 is going to review The Thing anytime soon
“And how could we know who who did the shooting? With those hoods you were wearing…”
Mr Lawyer, this is what is known as “reasonable doubt”
Civvie:"Must be my birthday, but its not"
Me:*Realizes this was actually uploaded on my birthday*
Thanks for the video, I read about that game (Cryo's games are really something, sadly GOG can't bring them back) and never knew why nobody talked about it anywhere. Also - Devil Inside rlz. Would play it but sadly my source of old (and really obscure) games is gone, thanks Nintendo...
"these deathrows lives like kings" - sounds like prisons in Poland, where they have way better food than the hospitals and schools. Way better...
These unlimited bullet time moments remind me some Matrix mod for Max Payne, replayed Parking level every day after school for relaxation, good times.
Ukraine? Where they made amazing Boling Point which STILL didn't reach Steam?
they made another site but it worked for like what, week, or less?
I hope so, I'm checking it every week. Just drop Niny garbage because it's a c&d bait.

Neat !
You deserve more subs my man,you are great
I bet it about three years ago and I enjoyed, despite the game being buggy. It has some interesting stuff like boss fights.
The Devil Inside. Holy Shit! That's a blast from the past that apparently I'm the only person who ever played it. Honestly that game was ahead of it's time it was like RE4 like 5 years before RE4 came out.
"How do you fuck up a rectangle." - classic.
I remember The Devil Inside. It was... fascinating.
The Slow-Motion sequence in this video made me a fan of Bily Idol and his song Speed.
Civvie where the HELL did you come from? Theres no way this channel is your first outting with how great it is
Half Life looks better than this. And that came out in ‘98
erm… no.
wat
Arseniy Yavorśkyi what?
4:56 is a face not even a mother could love.
I got a boxed copy of devil inside, it’s one of them games from when I was a kid that I go back and play every few years. It’s really shitty but in a endearing way
Gonna go down as classic civvie!!! Great shit man
Pro Alone in the dark when, Civvie?
I know it's on the lesser-side of the awful, but why during the exorcism does the priest sound like *HE'S* the man posessed?
