The best thing about AVGN is that he stays humble. Dude has probably made a somewhat decent chunk of change form this show over the years. Yet he remains the exact same as he was Day 1, cares about his fans, same basement set with no frills, etc. Not to mention he is pretty much the godfather of game review shows on YT. FYI: Back in the day, we didn't always wear seat belts, especially on long family trips, and most especially if you had a huge back area in a wagon or a van. It just wasn't a thing. It was also pretty common that when you came home from the hospital with a new baby, you would hold that baby with you in the front seat. That's how I came home.
I wonder if Gilbert improvised a lot of lines. James is funny but this is above and beyond. Maybe it's the amazing delivery. Either way it's a classic!
I discovered AVGN last year for some odd reason I never heard of him before. I have binged all 13 seasons now. So nice to watch something to take your mind off all the non sense on the news and just remember simpler times. 10/10 each season tbh

Every time Nerd uploads, i again feel admiration for his persistence- he's been doing the same type of content for what now, *FIFTEEN* years? Most youtubers nowadays leave after 2-3 years to do something else, but Nerd simple refuses to let go. And quality of his videos is better and better with each episode. Which is an achievement in and of itself, because he always had quality to begin with.
Right? There are some UA-camrs whose early videos are almost unwatchable for how poor quality and cringeworthy their older content is, but other than the camera and mics being somewhat less advanced, the overall video quality is still top notch and fully watchable to this day.
The guy from the pepsi man games is really a great actor. The episode was genuinely a little scary, especially when he screams he's turning into pepsi.

Collaborations usually happen when you know someone who knows them and they're fans of your work and you're fans of their work and after a bit of back and forth, lots of planning and sorting travel or whatever, collabs happen. It's really a long, complicated mess of communication and emails.

Gosh, no wonder I'm so in love with atmosphere. Kingdom Hearts could be so beautiful, especially the original. Words can barely explain the magic of being in an unending abyss, ascending a series of stained glass platforms, and being carried by a haunting chorus. It really was like being submerged inside a dream.
Zelda episode is amazing. What a great work this guy does. Truly, my deepest respects. This episodes captures the sensation of struggling, concentration and desire to win a game, and the feeling afterwards. P.D: The moment he says "please... please... please" i identified so much with that feeling.

Gosh, no wonder I'm so in love with atmosphere. Kingdom Hearts could be so beautiful, especially the original. Words can barely explain the magic of being in an unending abyss, ascending a series of stained glass platforms, and being carried by a haunting chorus. It really was like being submerged inside a dream.

Zelda episode is amazing. What a great work this guy does. Truly, my deepest respects. This episodes captures the sensation of struggling, concentration and desire to win a game, and the feeling afterwards.
