Because the race execs were like nah, we cant let you destroy everyone.
To me, it was a mistake by the JGTC allowing it to enter because looking at its performance, all of the cars in the circuit are out classed!

The F1's BWM V-12 Engine have a Horse Power Control that can be adjusted more than 600 HP. If the organizers allowed the F1 it should have been in the SUPER GT Class and asked the RX7, Supra, NSX, Skyline and GTO in the race to modify their cars up to more than 600 HP and a suspension and weight tuned to that power for a fair race! Of course the F1 should also comply! I know there is no coincidence in this world, everything happens for a reason but it was an IDIOTIC mistake from the organizers of Japan Grand Touring Championship. I wish Japan still sells the DVD or VHS of the Entire 90's up to early 2000's JGTC complete race seasons! In an era of car UA-cam where creators fighting for creative control over what content they want to put out and stories they want to tell seems to be happening at every corner, it's refreshing to see someone just doing their own thing with great quality and depth of information.
Might not ever be perfect, but at least you can say it's yours and that's definitely something to be proud of. Hell of a video though, especially for those of us who grew up with JGTC as our poster cars.
