Oh it is SO fun to do that. You can of course hunt down existing archetypes to assign to them, but what I've enjoyed the most is creating entirely new archetypes and cards for them from scratch, and slotting in just a couple real-world cards that synergize well with what I've created. It's super rewarding.
To avoid giving Joey legendaries(which wouldn't fit him), I'd give him a shiny Charizard(which is black) as his Red-Eyes stand in. As one of the few Pokemon with 3 alternate power-up forms, he has the potential to measure up to Reshiram. For the Baby Dragon/Thousand Dragon stand in, give him Drampa. Doesn't have cute factor of Baby Dragon but does have the same old man vibes of Thousand Dragon. And finally I'd swap out Celebi for Meowstic. Instead of time powers, Meowstic could imitate the crapshoot luck aspect of Time Wizard with Metronome and Meowstic would fit the cutesy aesthetic of Scapegoat and monsters like Swordsman of Landstar.
Not sure about this but I don't think Meowstic can actually learn Metronome. It can learn Future Sight though which is somewhat fitting with Time Wizard's time-themed effect. (It has to be female Meowstic though since male Meowstic can't actually learn Future Sight.) One of its level-up move being Magical Leaf also elevates the whole wizard/magic theme of Time Wizard. If we are going with the whole Metronome idea, Mr. Rime is also a good option. It can learn both Metronome and Future Sight. It also has a mustache and a cane like Time Wizard. However, if the time theme of Time Wizard is more important, I would favor Meowstic more since it can learn Future Sight by leveling up while Mr. Rime needs the TM for that. Nevertheless, I think both are equally fitting for Joey's team. Both of them also learn a bunch of wierd support moves which can reflect Joey's unorthodox play style.
I agree to an extent. Joey shouldn't have THREE legendary pokemon. But I do like the idea of a very unruly celebi that hurts just as often as it hleps. I like the idea of using celebi to accelerate time turning baby dragon into a powerful charzard.
I feel like Zekrom should be the only legend he gets. It fits red eyes visually and while its not a 1 of 4 like blue eyes in yugioh, red eyes is extremely expensive for a single copy which shows it is rare.
Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if Blue Eyes and Red Eyes were the inspiration for Reshiram and Zekrom and realized they could get away with it if they just swapped the dual typings
For Kuriboh I actually would have switched it with Shedinja! It still works as being "One of the weakest monsters" while still being a surprisingly strong defensive wall that Yugi can rely on.
If it were up to me, I would not have Pokémon chosen based on specific cards, but the deck and character themselves. Because let’s face it, these three characters use an assortment of mishmash cards that create a sort of vibe rather than a core few cards. Yugi would easily have a Lucario in my opinion. They are magical like yugi’s magicians, and obviously the Egyptian influence helps. Maybe an eevee for the loving, cute nature and their ability to transform into so many options considering yugi is versatile and adapts well. Kaiba would def have 3 of the same pseudo-legend dragon (hello lance) but maybe he’d just have a Salamence, Garchomp, and Hydreigon for some variety. Joey would def have something luck based so maybe he’d have an Absol or Togepi bc of their ability “super luck”. I can see him having a Charizard X. I’m also see him having infernape over a blaziken haha. Fun concept for sure that has legs to it!
I feel like a mixed approach would probably be the best way to go. Lucario is a great pick imo. It being based on a canine feels very fitting to represent the loyalty Mahad showed in Yugioh. Though Reshiram definitely would be something I think Kaiba should have. Not as a starter like in this video, but down the line it would fit as Reshiram being a legend fits with Blue eyes in rarity, appearance, and as something to chase. For a starter I'd pick either Larvitar or Bagon as both require a lot of work and effort before they show how great they really are, just like how Kaiba wasn't born into being great. Definitely Charizard and especially mega charizard fits Joey to a T imo. Mega Charizard fits Red eyes visually and works well with Joey as someone who had hard work and friendship as one of the biggest things that helped him succeed. It also being a traditional starter even works with Joey being an average Joe that had to start from the bottom like everyone else.
I highly agree with your picks. I'm shocked no one who does videos like this has given Yugi a Gallade to symbolize Dark magician. Gardevior is an easy reference to Dark magician girl, but having Gallade makes a lot of sense.
@ that’d make sense too! If someone is thinking of two psychic type counterparts to represent the magicians and you’re having Gardevoir rep DMG then you’d think Gallade would rep DM haha
Here's my idea for Yami Marik: Shiny Ho-oh for Winged Dragon Of Ra: Phoenix form Heatran for Lava Golem Ditto for Revival Jam Unovan Sandshrew for Ball form Ra Shiny Altaria for regular Ra And Yveltal (Don't know who Yveltal could be though...)
@ That Hooh, heatran, and ditto sounds so accurate bro. Bro would probably have a guzzlord, Grimmsnarl, and Ferrothorn too. They don’t directly connect to specific cards but I feel like those three would be good shouts.
I'm imagining that the reason Kadabra, which was originally an Abra in Yugi's care, evolves into Alakazam despite not being traded is because of the darkness of early Atem. Yugi and Atem do *trade* places. (Also, once Yugi and Atem truly synchronize, Alakazam can feel the purity of its bond with them both, enabling mega evolution. This is when they summon Black Magician of Chaos against Pegasus.)
Amazing Video! It even inspired me to try my hand at making my own for my favorite protagonists! (Keep up the great work!) Yuma Tsukumo and Astral Pokemon Team: [Starter] Male and Female Meowstic (Gagaga Magician/Girl): A Psychic duo whose true power is revealed in double battles where they can use Helping Hand to bring out their true power together. The much more tactical female Meowstic is often sided out with another Pokemon in favor of the much more aggressive male Meowstic for solo battles. Kleavor (Dododo Warrior): A Pokemon that uses its axe-like arms to inflict massive damage. Although it has high attack and defense, it lacks in both speed and special stats. Bastiodon (Gogogo Golem): Has high defense and special defense. A good option for Yuma to send out in order to figure out the opponent's game plan and to stall out a match long enough for Yuma to come up with a counter plan himself. Ceruledge (Zubaba Knight): Has slightly less offensive power than Kleavor, but makes up for it with much more balanced stats for a safer strategy. Eevee (Baby Tiragon): A pretty weak Pokemon on its own, but it houses incredible power with its Z Move, Extreme Evoboost, which doubles all of its stats. It's Baton Pass move allows it to pass this stat boost to other Pokemon, but it also has Stored Power in case it needs to fend off the enemy on its own. Gallade (Number 39): Whilst most of its stats are equal to or worse than Kleavor and Ceruledge, it makes up for it with its versatile move selection of Protect, Psycho Cut, Swords Dance, and Close Combat. Yuma and Astral are also able to Mega Evolve Gallade to further boost his stats in more dire battles.
-Having an Abra as a starter would be EXTREMELY difficult. Yugi would have to make sure the very first thing he does is capture another pokémon, or he won’t be able to progress. -I’d have gone with Ceruledge for Flame Swordsman.
I really dont like giving out Mythicals/Legendaries to represent monsters like Blue Eyes, Red Eyes, and Time Wizard. Those are God Card status Pokemon. Kaiba would have Salamence for Blue Eyes, as it symbolizes incredible brute force. Red-Eyes could be represented as Noivern or Flygon, Pokemon that are not psuedo legendaries like a protag/rival might boast, but still have a lot of potential and are the tier below those threats. Time Wizard would be a Trick Room setting Baltoy or Bronzor
It was mentioned in another comment, but your boi Shiny Charizard would be the stand in for Red-Eyes. Ignoring the it is a literal Red-Eyes Black Dragon. It would embodies Red-Eyes potential in Mega X, Mega Y, and Gigantimax. What wasn't mentioned in the other comment was that it being Shiny would represent Joey's luck. It being a standard starter Pokemon could represent Joey's growth from the bottom(Granted maybe a Pokemon like Rattata or Caterpie would say more in that regard), and you could even make its Tera type/Hidden Power Dragon-Type to go the full nine yards. The only real way it would be a better stand in was if Charizard had actually gotten a signature Z-Move to allow for all the options... but I suppose Joey would just make due with Inferno Overdrive. and I've just realized how much the Z-Moves sound like Yu-Gi-Oh monster attacks...Summoned Skull attack him directly with Gigavolt Havoc!
@@aliastheabnormal Do you have any idea how brilliant Kaiba is? He wouldn't buy Silph co and make them produce Master Balls for him. He would make better Master Balls, then attempt to figure out where the extraterrestrial Pokemon come from to teach them how to battle.
Regigigas has an ability called Slow Start, that halves it's attack and speed for 5 turns. Kaiba was effectively playing with one less Pokémon against the other 2 contestants.
Giving Yugi Abra as a first Pokémon would be a fantastic way to showcase Yugi’s shyness and Atem’s cunning. I could imagine his first battle where the opponent laughs at it saying, “what kind of trainer has pathetic Pokémon with no attacks?” while their Pokémon sends a powerful homing attack at the psychic type, and Yugi/Atem counters with “my grandfather’s Abra has no pathetic attacks. But it does have Teleport!” Abra then Teleports out of the way of the attack, causing it to hit the opponent’s Pokémon, knocking it out with its own move.
@ being turned into a motionless doll with another giant doll child attempting to crush you will a ball does sound like the quintessential Season Zero Atem
The reverse would be pretty cool, Yugioh decks to Pokémon trainers Would love to see more characters more characters from the OG show Mai, Pegasus, Kakura, Merek. I’d LOVE a longer video without the fight simulation. GX would be a perfect fit Jaden, Chaz, Zain, Jesse, Aster, Crowler…
Simple, straight to the point video. Just some good ol fun. After the amount of click bait and drama bait videos I see from other channels, this is such a breath of fresh air like GOD DAMN! Great job. Just a simply nice video to have exist. Love it!
Gallade could also be substituted with Iron Valiant. If Valkyrion is in for Celtic Guardian, Magnezone over Magneton or Aegislash if Still Celtic Guardian could work.
If he does this again I’d suggest reaching out to Astroid Videos at least for the simulation part. If I’m not mistaken he had access to a simulation script that he has used multiple times before
There's a few alternate options I would suggest using from the Paldea games. Some have mentioned using Ceruledge for Flame Swordsman, which I completely agree with. I'd also suggest swapping Kaiba's Metagross out for Archaludon, a Dragon/Steel-type that basically turns into a cannon for some of its best moves, including its signature Electro Shot. And instead of Kabuto for Kuriboh, I feel like Whimsicott would be a lot more useful. It may not explode like Kuriboh (aside from learning Misty Explosion), but it can do a lot of status control. As a couple of bonuses, I think Paldean Tauros would add a little extra power for Kaiba over the Kantonian one, and Yugi's Valkyrion should be fully upgraded to Magnezone to match the Magna Warrior's overwhelming power. Or, once again taking from the Paldean games, maybe the Paradox Pokemon Sandy Shocks would be a good alternative.
Firstly I looove this idea and love your choices however Id like to swap a few around: Yugi - I’d like to see the Magnaton be an Iron Valiant it fits the card just as well I think. Also the Kuboto I think could be replaced with Mimikyu to demonstrate how the card protects you for a turn like disguise does for Mimikyu. Kiba - I feel Blue Eyes does match well aesthetically but a legendary for anything other than God cards feels wrong. Id swap it with Salamanca. It would still be that overwhelming power and a dragon while maintaining the integrity of keeping the God Cards a tier about the rest. Joey - Again I swap out Red Eyes for a non legend. I would choose Garchomp here. For the Flame Swordsman I would choose Ceruledge. Instead of the Zeraora I would choose either Electivire or Luxray. And for the Time Wizard I’d not focus on the time manipulation so much as the explosion aspect. For that I’d choose any Pokémon with a self destruct style move as long as it isn’t mythical or legendary.
It could be neat to try and map them to actual Pokémon battle strategies too. Does kaiba go just hyper offense from the jump? Is he, as a national level competitor, the only one of the three to use hazards? Is Joey still using his in-game items/no items at all? How would other characters translate to this, would Pegasus, with his love of alternate wincons, run a timer stall team or a perish trap team? Would Bakura have a kingambit to facilitate his strategy of losing monsters early and pretending he’s throwing the game? Does Marik have a team based around chip damage from hazards and weather with just one really strong setup sweeper in the back? Who would build teams based around weather, who would fully EV train their team and who would leave them as-is after the in-game story, who would just run their favourites, and who would actually have a cohesive strategy?
You did pretty well over all, but I wanted to give my two cents. For Yugi: Dark Magician= Alakazam or Meowscarada Dark Magician Girl= Delphox or Hattarene Valkyrion= Magneton or even Magnezone Summoned Skull= Xurkitree. It kinda looks skeletal, and it took over an entire timeline, so I guess it's demonic enough? It also gives Yugi another legendary equivalent. Kuriboh= Minior. It could reference the Kuri bros when it cracks open! Slifer= Rayquaza Kaiba: Blue Eyes= Reshiram Battle Ox= Tauros or even Paldean Tauros. Battle=fighting? Kaiser Seahorse= Kingdra XYZ= Metagross Saggi= Mr Mime or Meowscarada (if its not on Yugi's team) Obelisk= Zygarde 100% Form. Regigiggas is awful. Joey: Red Eyes= Zekrom Flame Swordsman= Ceruledge Baby Dragon= Charmander Gearfried= Gallade Gilford= Zeraora Time Wizard= Celebi
Incredibly bold choice to start this video with Yugi and end it with Joey. Video's short enough to where it probably won't matter I just think it's funny you immediately started with the "heavy hitters". I must thank you however for helping maintain the Torchic agenda by including Blaziken. If you end up doing another one of these for the DM era you've GOT TO give Yugi a Jirachi. I don't think it directly maps on to any of his monsters but it fits way too perfectly to him solving the millennium puzzle and making his wish for friends.
I like this concept and the teams that you made up for each of the big three characters. Though, I had a couple of fun expansion ideas for the teams. The first is for Yugi/Atem, for them you could technically have two separate teams that when they switch minds their teams combine and mix up; one for each that resembles their own decks that develop differently. For Atem I would keep Alakazam, Rayquaza, and Kabuto, but switch out the other three. In their place you could give Atem Mrs. Magius, and as for the other two I'd give him Escavalier to represent Gaia the Fierce Knight and Bastiodon to represent Big Shield Gardna. For Yugi his team is going to have some similarities but keep true to his character, with that in mind I would give Yugi not one but two Ralts; one that evolves into Gardevior to represent Silent Magician, as she was Yugi's equivalent to the Dark Magician while the other Ralts evolved into Gallade to represent either Silent Swordsman or Buster Blader. Next Yugi will have a Salamance as this would be his Gandora. His fourth would be a Blastoise as this would be a combination of Catapult Turtle/Giant Soldier of Stone. His fifth would Maganton for Valkyiron with the added bonus that its skill is lightning rod which can absorb all Electrical attacks similar to how Yugi was using Valkyrion to counter The God cards. Finally, I am giving Yugi a legendary because if Atem gets one then Yugi gets one and I believe its the perfect pick for him. I'd give him the mystical legendary Pokemon Entei and this is for multiple reasons, the first is Entei has the power to grant wishes and when Yugi assembled the puzzle his wish was to have friends. Second Entei has a strong, regal, and wise personality that in a way could mirror Atem. And finally just because in the Pokemon movie the voice actor for Yugi/Atem also did the voice acting for Entei. For Kaiba I'd keep most of the team that he has with a few exceptions. I'd keep Kingdra, Mr. Mime, Tauros, and Metagross. He doesn't start out with Reshiram, but does eventually get him. So in his place Seto would have a Hydregon as his sort of boss Pokemon. Finally, I'd switch out Regigigas for something else, a different Pokemon that could rival Kaiba's prideful, tyrannical, and destructive personality and that's Tyranitar. Also as a side note, I like the idea that the only reason why Seto has Mr. Mime is because growing up and when they were kids Mr. Mime had a bit of a silly and goofy personality that could get Mokuba to smile and laugh. For Joey's team my thoughts were a little different. He gets to keep Zekrom because it's his equivalent to Red-Eyes, but it could also be his Gilford because of Zekrom's powerful electrical attacks. Keep Blaziken, Charmander, and Bisharp. But the last two are a little out of left field. I would replace Zerazora with something else like perhaps Scizor that could be his Pokemon counterpart to Rocket Warrior. And finally, I'd drop Celebi for a flying type, ideally something like Staraptor as this would be sort of his equivalent to Harpie Lady as well as serve as his ties and friendship to Mai.
The first thing that came to my mind when I read the title was "oh man, I'm gonna have some opinions on this no matter WHAT pokemon he gives them." This concept definitely came out of nowhere, but it seems like a really fun idea! I'll be writing the rest of this comment as I watch the video: I will say, Yami Yugi having Alakazam, it means he'd have had to traded it in order to evolve it, although maybe he just traded it back and forth with Joey lol. Besides that, Yugi's team looks quite solid. Good stuff! Now, onto Kaiba. Yeah, Reshiram literally is a Blue-Eyes White Dragon, so that does work out. Even though the colors don't match up as well with the Battle Ox Card, I'd honestly want to give Kaiba a Fighting-Type Paldean Tauros, possibly the water-type version for more type diversity, and to represent the duality of Kaiba's intensity as well as his "cooler" side. Kingdra is an excellent choice for Kaiba. For a Steel-Type, I was definitely torn between Metagross and Magnezone-- but if you're giving magneton to Yugi, then Metagross definitely works better for Kaiba. Not a huge fan of Mr. Mime, but then again, I'm not a huge fan of Saggi either tbh. YES! Shiny Regigigas is the perfect pick for Obelisk, to the point where I personally shiny hunted one years ago just so that I could have one to name Obelisk. I still have it to this day, if I recall correctly. Alright, definitely expecting you to use Zekrom now for Red-Eyes, and it'll also highlight that rivalry between Joey and Kaiba. Yep. For the flame swordsman, I personally like Infernape a little better than Blaziken, but that's just nitpicking-- they're both Fire Fighting starter evolutions. It's mostly that flaming crown that infernape has that really does it for me over Blaziken. However, for Baby Dragon, I'd personally go for an actual Dragon-Type, as having two different Fire Starter pokemon on the team is a bit much-- even though it's not orange like Baby Dragon and Charmander, I think Axew is the definition of a "Baby Dragon" in the pokemon world, and Axew's evolutionary line definitely also captures that theme of growth and potential. Yeah, Bisharp looks good for gearfried. Zeraora is a mythical pokemon, so that does make 2 legendaries and 1 mythical for Joey, but hey, maybe he needs them in order to be able to keep up with Yugi and Kaiba lol (kidding). Yeah, Joey winning with the most legendaries and mythicals isn't too surprising, although I'm curious as to what their stats and movesets may have been. The issue with these teams is that they try to directly reference different monsters in the decks, and while that does give the teams a lot more character, it also sacrifices some of the team's usability. Yugi had 2 pokemon on his team that weren't even fully evolved-- and I get it, Magnezone and Kabutops aren't as close to Valkyrion and Kuriboh as their predecessors, but I think the fundamental differences between Yugioh and Pokemon make things a bit harder to translate over in the way you approached it in this video. Here's what I'd change, and what I'd keep: Yugi's team: I'd definitely keep Alakazam and Gardevor for Dark Magician and Girl, that works well enough. Gardevoir being a Psychic-Fairy that is immune to Dragon-Type attacks is actually pretty decently flavorful for how Yami Yugi often has to take down Dragons. I would give Alakazam the Alakazite item so it could Mega Evolve, though, representing all the different means that Yami Yugi has of strengthening Dark Magician to overcome seemingly insurmountable foes. It'd also be reminiscent of the transformation from Yugi to Atem each time the Millennium Puzzle activates. Rayquaza and Dusknoir also still work, as they're good Type coverage. However, since you gave Joey Zekrom and Kaiba Reshiram, I think it'd actually work really well to give Yami Yugi a Kyruem with the DNA Splicers Key Item. Since Yami Yugi seemingly brings out the best in everyone he duels alongside, it'd be pretty cool to see him (benevolently, as opposed to Ghetsis' malevolence) fuse Kyruem with Joey's Zekrom or Kaiba's Reshiram to bring out the best of both dragons. For the last member of Yami Yugi's team, I think Lucario would work out pretty well, as a Fighting-Steel type gives him excellent type coverage, it's another fan-favorite, and it's a very stoic and stern Pokemon that could be seen as reminiscent of the Black Luster Soldier, or even Buster Blader, since the Steel Typing will make it resistant to Dragon-Type attacks. Kaiba's team: Not many changes to this one. I'd swap out Mr. Mime for Iron Valiant with the Booster Energy item. Kaiba is all about technology and innovation, so one of the Future Paradox Pokemon seems like an excellent pick, and since Gallade is already memed to death for basically having Duel Disks built onto its arms, so a future Cyber-techy version of it makes complete sense for a Kaiba team. Besides those two mons, though, the rest of the team looks great! While I did mention swapping out the Tauros for the Water-Fighting-Type Paldean one, I instead think now would be a good time to give Kaiba a pokemon that allows him to build a bit of a strategy with the Regigigas Obelisk. You see, Regigigas is plagued by the ability Slow Start, taking it 5 turns to actually become useful in a battle. In those 5 turns, though, it's more likely that it will be knocked out. However, if Kaiba's playing a Double Battle, he'd be able to get rid of that Slow Start ability by using a pokemon that knows the move Worry Seed, which would change its ability to Insomnia, having the bonus of protecting Obelisk from falling asleep. As for a pokemon to use Worry Seed, I'd go with Gourgheist, as it works with some of the darker monsters Kaiba plays in his deck as a Ghost-Type. Joey's team: I'm fine with Joey having Zekrom and even Celibi. Bisharp is a good representation of Gearfried as well. As for the Flame Swordsman stand-in, whether it's Blaziken or Infernape, that doesn't make to big a difference to me. As someone else pointed out, Armorouge would be pretty good for Flame Swordsman too. Zeraora, however, is hard to imagine Joey having. It's a mythical pokemon, like I mentioned, but also, despite being an electric type, it doesn't really match Gilford's aesthetic all that well in my opinion. For a pokemon to match up better, I'd go with Electivire-- one of the coolest electric-types out there. For the sixth pokemon, I'd like to go with something that'll give more type diversity, while also being representative of his victories in battle city-- so either a Legendary Fisherman stand-in, an Insect Queen Stand-In, or a Jinzo Stand-In. As much as I love Jinzo, Joey already has Dark, Steel, and Psychic-Types on his team, and those are the only types I can really imagine a Jinzo-mon having. That leaves us with either a Water or a Bug-type. But why not both? Golsiopod is a Bug-Water pokemon that also amazingly represents Joey's dueling prowess, going from a "wimp" to a real champ fighter. Let me know what you think, though. I do think it'd be interesting to see other characters with Pokemon teams. I may even try to build some other character teams myself-- who knows.
I came up with a Kaiba team way back in Gen 6 consisting of Reshiram (Blue Eyes), Golurk (obelisk) Kingdra (kaiser seahorse), Magnezone (xyz), koffiing/weezing (crush card virus), and Mega Charizard X (Fang of Critias)
These seem like some good options, although I agree with others that you stacked the Deck in Joey's favour with 3 legendaries. When I tried this exercise myself I tried to represent the ideas of the cards (I also did it arc by arc) rather than match them perfectly. Yugi Raichu (Dark Magician. Series mascot) Gallade (Black Luster Soldier. Prior to evolution it served as the Mystical Elf) Weavile (Buster Blader) Pachirisu (Dark Magician girl, pika-clone to match ace) Altaria (Curse of Dragon / Gaia the Dragon Champion) Palkia (Slifer so Arceus could serve as Horakhty) (I used Togepi as Kuriboh due to its iconic nature and so Jaden could use Togetic for Winged Kuriboh) Kaiba Dragonite (BEWD. Original dragon) Rhydon (XYZ Dragon Cannon) Mr.Mime (Saggi) Bouffalant (Battle Ox) Conkeldurr (Judge Man) Dialga (Obelisk) (When imagining the battles I often gave him 3 Dragonair/Dragonite for the 3 BEWD) Joey Charizard (REBD) Wobbuffet (Time Wizard. A Pokemon he doesn't always know how to use) Infernape (Flame Swordsman) Kadabra (Jinzo) Electivire (Gilford / Gearfried) Gabite (Thousand Dragon)
For a different pokemon to represent Gearfried, I would like to nominate Lucario with Inner Focus as its ability. Inner Focus prevents the pokemon from flinching, fitting for Gearfried's effect in the anime when Joey first used it to counter Weevil's Parasite Paraside strategy. Bisharp also has this ability, but I think Lucario's Fighting type fits Joey more as it reflects Joey initial past as a bully and a brawler. This is a bit of a stretch, but Mega Lucario can also represent Gearfried the Swordmaster, Gearfried's true form by lore. The need to Mega Evolve to access Mega Lucario is similar to how you need the spell "Release Restrain" to summon Gearfried the Swordmaster. Gearfried the Iron Knight focuses on defense while Gearfried the Swordmaster is all about offense. Mega Lucario has slightly lower Defense stat than regular Lucario. Furthermore, while Mega Lucario does get both its Attack and Special Attack stat increased, Mega Lucario has higher Attack Stat than its Special Attack stat while regular Lucario has higher Special Attack stat than its Attack stat. This is similar to Gearfried's fighting style changes depending on his forms.
Also, maybe replacing Zeraora with Raging Bolt, Raikou's Paradox Pokemon version, would be more fitting to avoid giving Joey too many Legendary and Mythical Pokemon. It's up to interpretation whether Raging Bolt counted as a Legendary pokemon though. I just think its Scarlet pokedex entry about incinerating everything around it with lightning fits Gilford's board-wipe effect.
This video is such a unique concept I would hope to see more Yugioh Characters get this kind of treatment if He's up to it, that would be pretty cool😮❤
I always imagined Kaiba rocking 3x Reshirams (for 3x Blue-Eyes), a Hydreigon (for Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon), Palkia (Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon), Golurk (Obelisk), but there are some solid picks. I figured since Kaiba had befriended Reshiram, and managed to defeat and capture Palkia, he used Palkia's spatial manipulation abilities to send him to alternate universes where he could capture two other Reshirams from different dimensions just to fill up his team.
looking at the title i could imagine kaiba having the most op possible pokemon while yugi is given rhe baby form of a strong pokemon and joey winning a strong pokemon by utilizing weak pokemon
Anyone else realize that Reshiram is a fire type and Zekrom is an Electric type? Which literally swaps the two's most famous attack types XD Instead of Joey shouting "Inferno Fire Blast!" He'lls instead say "Fusion Bolt!" And instead of Kaiba saying "White Lighning!" He'd say "Fusion Flare!"
Loved this. My one suggestion is making redeye a Shiney Charizard. And babydragon could be maybe a freebass or magikarp. Gets the whole potential thing Joey kinda represents and can "age" them with celebi in non league battles to evolve it into gyados/milotic.
Cool concept, but i would change them, for Yugi(Atemu): Necrozma (Black Magican), Silembrim (Black Magican Girl), Voltolos (summond Skull), Mimigma (Kuribo). Gladimperio (black luster Soldier), Rayquaza (Osiris the sky dragon) For Kaiba: Reshiram (Blue eyes), but maybe Trikephalo (for Ultimate blue eyes too), Pantifrost (Sagi), Tauros (water for battleox and typvariety), Boreros (mystical Jinn), Metagross (xyz). Regigigas is fine I guess, not completely happy tho(Obelisk) For Joey: Zekrom (black eyes), Thousand dragon (Sen-Long), Azugladis (no questions asked, Flame Swordasman), Celebi (Time Wizard), Zeroora (gierfried the lightning), Monetigo (Jinzo) I also thought given them the dragons Helmos, Critias and Timeus, but couldn’t think of the best fits for those tree…
Don’t worry guys. Kabuto will mega evolve into dome fossil. It can’t be damaged by any Pokémon. It’s also can be stollen by any trainer. Then alakazam will go into its giant form from the anime, not gmax but the one from the original anime. Then rayquaza will also mega evolve because the king of games has the power of plot armor. I mean friendship
Yugi: Mega Gallade for his Celtic Guardian, Altaria for his Winged Guardian Of The Fortress, Mega Shiny Rayquaza for Slifer, Mareep for Kuriboh, and Bisharp for Black Luster Soldier.
I probably would have leaned more into their personalities over matching their decks, especially now that in more recent times Kaiba is portrayed as a dragon specialist. Plus it's better in my opinion to limit everyone to one legend/myth because it makes the selections more interesting
The only thing I’d REALLY change for Yugi is Kuriboh - he needs it to be a very unassuming Pokemon that can utilize the FEAR tactic or sweep after baton pass shenanigans. Everyone makes fun of Kuriboh in the show, but it always proves WAY more useful than they give it credit. I would think it would have to be one of those lvl 1 Pokemon that can sweep a whole team with setup.
Yugi should definitely his dark magician girl counterpart as a kirlia first. Kaiba’s tauros should be the Paldean form since it’s a fighting type. Help sell the battle-ness of it. And you gave Joey 3 legendaries, just FYI. Zeraora is a mythical like celebri. Electivire is another electric type that captures that same vibe though. And considering Joey was gifted the counterpart to his other legendaries, I think it makes sense that those are rarer. Oh, and yeah, ceruledge is literally a flame swordsman. Lol
Pretty fun idea, would love to do more duelist pokemon teams, & the opposite would also be fun , giving yugioh decks to trainers, Ash could try many archetypes while always siding in Sky thunder as his Pikachu equivelent, Misty with ocean control would be great & Brock plays Adamancipators ( he does own all Harpy, Exosister & Skystriker cards but he exclusevly gushes over them in his binder )
For Dark Magician, I would rather go with the Paldea starter Sprigatito instead due to Alakazam, Gardevoir, and Rayquaza competing over the Mega Evolution usage and Meowscarada having a basis on a stage magician and it being a dark type, matching Dark Magician’s dark attribute. Gardevoir can cover for Meowscarada’s fighting and poison type weaknesses due to being a psychic/fairy type. Also, Kaiba is a competitive guy. Regigigas’ ability Slow Start halves its attack and special attack stats for five turns. Regigigas as Obelisk the Tormentor doesn’t fit because of that. Kaiba could go for a Gigantimax capable rapid strike Urshifu instead to represent Obelisk the Tormentor.
I like to imagine Kaiba would have Mr Mime Skill Swap Regigigas, and then it doesn't really care about the Attack Drop (Speed Drop's not ideal, but it's got enough Special Bulk it may survive long enough to get screens off, if the newly powered up Regigigas is able to draw attacks away.
I wonder what if the duelists listed in this comment use Pokemon Yubel and Supreme King from GX, Yusei from 5Ds, Quattro from Zexal, Yugo from Arc V and Playmaker from Vrains
For Yugi I would have switched Gardevoir with Hatterene, Both Psychic/Fairy, Bothe good Special Attack, Hatterene just has more of the Witch look and is even called a Witch in the Pokedex. For Kaiba I would have switched Metagross for Archaludon... a Steel/Dragon that's Signature Move Electro Shot basically turns it into a cannon. Also switch Tauros for Paldean Tauros as it's a Fighting Type . Fore Joey I would have switched Blaziken for Ceruledge... a Literal Fire Swordsman (It's arms are Swords made of Fire) that learns a lot of Sword/Slash moves (Swords Dance, Night Slash, Solar Blade, Psycho Cut, X-Scissor, Bitter Blade), Bisharp would likely also evolve into Kingambit.
Some Changes I would've made: Instead of Kabuto, I'd give Yugi Eevee for Kuriboh. It's a small lovable furry mascot with a lot of hidden potential and it would make sense why it never evolves. Yugi would definitely keep it an Eevee if it didn't want to evolve, and bring out it's hidden power. The rest of Yugi's team looks fine to me, though I don't see why Magneton would've evolve into Magnezone....? For Kaiba, Some people are probably going to disagree with me on this, but I'd swap out XYZ Dragon Cannon for Either The Fang of Critias or Chaos Emperor Dragon for two reasons. One, the bigger reason is that I'd want to give XYZ Dragon Cannon to Chazz from Yu-gi-oh GX, and i'd want my teams to have as little overlap as possible. Two, while I actually do find it EXTREMELY fitting for Kaiba to have a Metagross, I'd personally want to give him more dragons, since lets be real, He'd DEFINITELY be a dragon trainer. (Though I thought the choice of Regigigas was a bit odd too, so maybe I'd replace that instead.) Either way Critias/Chaos Emperor dragon's rep would be Salamence. For Joey, I'd swap out Blaziken for Ceruledge. I mean, come on. Flame swordsman? Ceruledge was RIGHT THERE! Also.... I know you're trying to keep the whole time mechanic, but i just can't see Joey with a Celebi. I think I'd replace Celebi with Togepi, and instead of time, Togepi's thing would be it's Lucky metronome. I think that's a MUCH better and more reasonable parallel. I think choosing pokemon based on cards is cool, but i think it should be based on the deck itself, and the strategies that they use personally.
One funny thing is that Yugi don't start the anime/manga with Dark Magician, it's one of hist grandpa's card. Tecnically his starter should be Summoned Skull, his ace monster in his first duel
I would love to see a reverse of this, assigning yugioh decks to Pokemon trainers
Oh it is SO fun to do that. You can of course hunt down existing archetypes to assign to them, but what I've enjoyed the most is creating entirely new archetypes and cards for them from scratch, and slotting in just a couple real-world cards that synergize well with what I've created. It's super rewarding.
My first obvious pick for ash would be to chu-ski the mouse fighter
yessss
I like that but Ash would definitely have a "yugi" deck. A random ass pile of cards
Every trainer that uses an Eevee automatically uses Purrely.
I think a good "Kuriboh" for Yugi is Eevee. Just like Kuriboh, Eevee a little brown furry creature that can become many different forms.
Kuriboh is definitely Joltik! Just look at the hairy tiny creature.
Perfect
Kuriboh is definitely the Pikachu of Yu-Gi-Oh
Wouldn't Ceruledge make more sense for Joey's Flame Swordsman stand-in than Blaziken? It wields literal fire blades.
That makes more sense :D
he dont play the pokemon games like that haha
It makes leagues more sense. It's a literal flame swords man.
Yeah I agree and and for dark magician girl, Braxien would make more sens
Ceruledge would even make sense as gearfried the iron knight
Finally my man Joey get some respect 🔥
I feel Armarouge/Ceruledge would fit perfectly Flame Swordsman
Ceruledge is literally the "Fire Blades Pokémon", how did he miss that
@@J.Blazer Same way he missed the magical girl Pokemon in Braxien.
I thought maybe this was made before Ceruledge was released, but that’s not the case.
@@jamaldavis2480 And Mismagius as DM.
@@alantello7768 Eh, Mismagius is bit to female presenting to be the stand in. Also Alakazam's backing lore matches Dark Magicians.
Ceruledge as flame swordsman was a missed opportunity.
I like this version better but also swap out reshiram for hydragon in setos roster to balance things out more
Not sure about this but I don't think Meowstic can actually learn Metronome.
Zeraora?
Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if Blue Eyes and Red Eyes were the inspiration for Reshiram and Zekrom and realized they could get away with it if they just swapped the dual typings
They are
For Kuriboh I actually would have switched it with Shedinja! It still works as being "One of the weakest monsters" while still being a surprisingly strong defensive wall that Yugi can rely on.
What if Yu-Gi-Oh characters had Digimon partners/ plugging Yu-Gi-Oh monsters into a Digimon evolution line
Cool idea
IT'S TIME TO DIGIVOLVE!
Oh boy...
What if there was a crossovers between Vrains and Duel Links AND Digimon Liberator (manga and novel and card game)
Digimon would be an awesome idea to do, I love Pokémon but I feel Digimon would gel better with old school Yu-Gi-Oh
Dragunity aklys --> white horned dragon --> slifer the sky dragon
Here's my idea for Yami Marik:
Shiny Ho-oh for Winged Dragon Of Ra: Phoenix form
Heatran for Lava Golem
Ditto for Revival Jam
Unovan Sandshrew for Ball form Ra
Shiny Altaria for regular Ra
And Yveltal (Don't know who Yveltal could be though...)
@ That Hooh, heatran, and ditto sounds so accurate bro. Bro would probably have a guzzlord, Grimmsnarl, and Ferrothorn too. They don’t directly connect to specific cards but I feel like those three would be good shouts.
Flame swordsman NOT being ceruledge is criminal
just imagining atem going round performing psychic lobotomies on ppl with kazam while smol yugi spends all his time with gardevoir at home
@@J.BlazerI love the idea of the mega evolution
Dark Magician of black chaos
that's such a cool theme😮
I want to see Lance from Pokemon and Seto Kaiba from Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters meet and then interact with each other.
Amazing Video! It even inspired me to try my hand at making my own for my favorite protagonists! (Keep up the great work!)
Yuma Tsukumo and Astral Pokemon Team:
[Starter] Male and Female Meowstic (Gagaga Magician/Girl): A Psychic duo whose true power is revealed in double battles where they can use Helping Hand to bring out their true power together.
Yu-Gi-Oh + Digimon
Yu-Gi-Mon?🤔
It will be very interested to tackle other characters like Marik, Mai, Bakura, etc. Nice job !
-Having an Abra as a starter would be EXTREMELY difficult. Yugi would have to make sure the very first thing he does is capture another pokémon, or he won’t be able to progress.
-I’d have gone with Ceruledge for Flame Swordsman.
I want to see an official crossover of some sort in-between Gundam, Zoids, Transformers, Dragon Ball, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Digimon.
Do you have any idea how much money Kaiba has? He could buy Silph co and make them produce Master balls for him.
@@aliastheabnormal Do you have any idea how brilliant Kaiba is? He wouldn't buy Silph co and make them produce Master Balls for him. He would make better Master Balls, then attempt to figure out where the extraterrestrial Pokemon come from to teach them how to battle.
They’re literally a white dragon with blue eyes and a black dragon with red eyes. It’d be just plain silly to use anything else.
Regigigas has an ability called Slow Start, that halves it's attack and speed for 5 turns.
Kaiba was effectively playing with one less Pokémon against the other 2 contestants.
Yo we need this for more characters!! Good stuff!
Seto kaiba would use mega garchomp, it simply feels right
Giving Yugi Abra as a first Pokémon would be a fantastic way to showcase Yugi’s shyness and Atem’s cunning.
Or Atem goes anime Sabrina on his opponent
@ being turned into a motionless doll with another giant doll child attempting to crush you will a ball does sound like the quintessential Season Zero Atem
Battle Ox is a Beast-Warrior so I would have given Kaiba a Paldean Tauros.
The reverse would be pretty cool, Yugioh decks to Pokémon trainers
Would love to see more characters more characters from the OG show
Mai, Pegasus, Kakura, Merek.
I’d LOVE a longer video without the fight simulation. GX would be a perfect fit
Jaden, Chaz, Zain, Jesse, Aster, Crowler…
Simple, straight to the point video. Just some good ol fun. After the amount of click bait and drama bait videos I see from other channels, this is such a breath of fresh air like GOD DAMN! Great job. Just a simply nice video to have exist. Love it!
No, Yugi gets
Dark Magician - Gallade
Dark Magician Girl - Gardevoir
Black Luster Soldier - Ceruledge
Slifer - Rayquaza
Kuriboh - Togedemaru
Celtic Guardian - Scyther
This is much better. Another contender for Slifer is Eternatus
Dawg I thought I was weird for considering Celtic Guardian as one of yugis most popular cards lol thank you
Gallade could also be substituted with Iron Valiant. If Valkyrion is in for Celtic Guardian, Magnezone over Magneton or Aegislash if Still Celtic Guardian could work.
9:49 Umm, you've given Joey 3 legendaries with Zekrom, Zeraora and Celebi
Firstly I looove this idea and love your choices however Id like to swap a few around:
Yugi - I’d like to see the Magnaton be an Iron Valiant it fits the card just as well I think.
Who would build teams based around weather, who would fully EV train their team and who would leave them as-is after the in-game story, who would just run their favourites, and who would actually have a cohesive strategy?
the fact that he gave Reshiram to Kaiba because of Joey's team hints towards Joey having Zekrom to match Red-eyes Black Dragon
You did pretty well over all, but I wanted to give my two cents.
For Yugi:
Dark Magician= Alakazam or Meowscarada
Dark Magician Girl= Delphox or Hattarene
Valkyrion= Magneton or even Magnezone
Summoned Skull= Xurkitree. It kinda looks skeletal, and it took over an entire timeline, so I guess it's demonic enough? It also gives Yugi another legendary equivalent.
Kuriboh= Minior. It could reference the Kuri bros when it cracks open!
Slifer= Rayquaza
Kaiba:
Blue Eyes= Reshiram
Battle Ox= Tauros or even Paldean Tauros. Battle=fighting?
Kaiser Seahorse= Kingdra
XYZ= Metagross
Saggi= Mr Mime or Meowscarada (if its not on Yugi's team)
Obelisk= Zygarde 100% Form. Regigiggas is awful.
Joey:
Red Eyes= Zekrom
Flame Swordsman= Ceruledge
Baby Dragon= Charmander
Gearfried= Gallade
Gilford= Zeraora
Time Wizard= Celebi
Incredibly bold choice to start this video with Yugi and end it with Joey. Video's short enough to where it probably won't matter I just think it's funny you immediately started with the "heavy hitters". I must thank you however for helping maintain the Torchic agenda by including Blaziken.
If you end up doing another one of these for the DM era you've GOT TO give Yugi a Jirachi. I don't think it directly maps on to any of his monsters but it fits way too perfectly to him solving the millennium puzzle and making his wish for friends.
You should do the opposite video what monsters would fit best with trainers
Wow this was unexpected VERY well done!
The first thing that came to my mind when I read the title was "oh man, I'm gonna have some opinions on this no matter WHAT pokemon he gives them." This concept definitely came out of nowhere, but it seems like a really fun idea! I'll be writing the rest of this comment as I watch the video:
I will say, Yami Yugi having Alakazam, it means he'd have had to traded it in order to evolve it, although maybe he just traded it back and forth with Joey lol.
Here's what I'd change, and what I'd keep:
Yugi's team:
I'd definitely keep Alakazam and Gardevor for Dark Magician and Girl, that works well enough.
Kaiba's team:
Not many changes to this one.
Joey's team:
I'm fine with Joey having Zekrom and even Celibi.
It's Time To C-C-Catch Them All...?
2 mythicals and a legendary, 2 legendaries, and one legendary. Joey, Kaiba, Yugi. That’s rough.
These seem like some good options, although I agree with others that you stacked the Deck in Joey's favour with 3 legendaries. When I tried this exercise myself I tried to represent the ideas of the cards (I also did it arc by arc) rather than match them perfectly.
Yugi
Raichu (Dark Magician. Series mascot)
Gallade (Black Luster Soldier. Prior to evolution it served as the Mystical Elf)
Weavile (Buster Blader)
Pachirisu (Dark Magician girl, pika-clone to match ace)
Altaria (Curse of Dragon / Gaia the Dragon Champion)
Palkia (Slifer so Arceus could serve as Horakhty)
(I used Togepi as Kuriboh due to its iconic nature and so Jaden could use Togetic for Winged Kuriboh)
Kaiba
Dragonite (BEWD. Original dragon)
Rhydon (XYZ Dragon Cannon)
Mr.Mime (Saggi)
Bouffalant (Battle Ox)
Conkeldurr (Judge Man)
Dialga (Obelisk)
(When imagining the battles I often gave him 3 Dragonair/Dragonite for the 3 BEWD)
Joey
Charizard (REBD)
Wobbuffet (Time Wizard. A Pokemon he doesn't always know how to use)
Infernape (Flame Swordsman)
Kadabra (Jinzo)
Electivire (Gilford / Gearfried)
Gabite (Thousand Dragon)
I wouod love to see this for every season ❤
Very interesting video and good choices! How about other generations of yugioh or characters like Marij or Mai?
Brother, you make my day when you drop a video, keep it going 🎉
I honestly would have guessed Blacephalon in place of Mr. Mime for Kaiba but the explanation does make sense.
You failed to capture Joey's 3rd rate duelist with 4th rate Pokémon
This video is such a unique concept
I would hope to see more Yugioh Characters get this kind of treatment
if He's up to it, that would be pretty cool😮❤
You really did a wonderful job everything seems right
Kaiba and Joey representing Power and Potential can be metaphorically translated to Truth and Ideals, making the Tao Dragons a solid choice!
Dope video surprised you didn't do red eyes for Joey tho
Jesse Anderson already has his Pokémon team in his deck.
Yes! More of this! Every generation of Yugioh! Also villains! How many ghost types will Marik end up with? And does he actually get Ho-oh?
No, blue eyes ultimate dragon. That was an easy Hydragon.
Yugi getting shafted is wild
Anyone else realize that Reshiram is a fire type and Zekrom is an Electric type? Which literally swaps the two's most famous attack types XD
Instead of Joey shouting "Inferno Fire Blast!" He'lls instead say "Fusion Bolt!"
And instead of Kaiba saying "White Lighning!" He'd say "Fusion Flare!"
Since kaiba's team is already nuts you could give him weezing as the crush card virus to make regigigas a monster in double battles
Do more videos of these great vid
Question: Which 'Mon would represent Ra?
Ho-oh comes to mind immediately. Fire-bird that represents the sun. Could be other good options out there that aren't coming to mind.
Solgaleo
He's the Legendary that represents the Sun.
Loved this. My one suggestion is making redeye a Shiney Charizard. And babydragon could be maybe a freebass or magikarp. Gets the whole potential thing Joey kinda represents and can "age" them with celebi in non league battles to evolve it into gyados/milotic.
Spellcomadner! Do 5D's! And GX! ANd my life will be yours! (Great Video btw!)
"For Valkyrion, it really is a no brained."
Me: Clearly Metagross!
"Magneton."
Me: 😭😭😭😭
Cool concept, but i would change them, for Yugi(Atemu): Necrozma (Black Magican), Silembrim (Black Magican Girl), Voltolos (summond Skull), Mimigma (Kuribo). Gladimperio (black luster Soldier), Rayquaza (Osiris the sky dragon)
For Kaiba: Reshiram (Blue eyes), but maybe Trikephalo (for Ultimate blue eyes too), Pantifrost (Sagi), Tauros (water for battleox and typvariety), Boreros (mystical Jinn), Metagross (xyz). Regigigas is fine I guess, not completely happy tho(Obelisk)
For Joey: Zekrom (black eyes), Thousand dragon (Sen-Long), Azugladis (no questions asked, Flame Swordasman), Celebi (Time Wizard), Zeroora (gierfried the lightning), Monetigo (Jinzo)
I also thought given them the dragons Helmos, Critias and Timeus, but couldn’t think of the best fits for those tree…
Loved this video, the concept and your choices. But where's Jinzo?
Don’t worry guys. Kabuto will mega evolve into dome fossil. It can’t be damaged by any Pokémon. It’s also can be stollen by any trainer. Then alakazam will go into its giant form from the anime, not gmax but the one from the original anime. Then rayquaza will also mega evolve because the king of games has the power of plot armor. I mean friendship
Yu-Gi-Oh + Digimon x3
Yugi: Mega Gallade for his Celtic Guardian, Altaria for his Winged Guardian Of The Fortress, Mega Shiny Rayquaza for Slifer, Mareep for Kuriboh, and Bisharp for Black Luster Soldier.
I can definitely hear Joey "Chahmanda I choose yous"
Would love to see what some of the villains would get as pokemon 👏
Lol
3:01 ALL HAIL THE DARK LORD
Are we just ignoring that for Joey's flight swordsman we have a fire sword wielding Pokemon in gen 9 in the form of cerluedge
what pokemon jaiden yuki whould have?
joey may be not a good duelist, but at least he's the Pokémon champion. lol. also I'd like to see you do this with all every other yugioh series.
Pretty fun idea, would love to do more duelist pokemon teams,
& the opposite would also be fun , giving yugioh decks to trainers,
Ash could try many archetypes while always siding in Sky thunder as his Pikachu equivelent, Misty with ocean control would be great & Brock plays Adamancipators ( he does own all Harpy, Exosister & Skystriker cards but he exclusevly gushes over them in his binder )
I wonder what if the duelists listed in this comment use Pokemon
Yubel and Supreme King from GX, Yusei from 5Ds, Quattro from Zexal, Yugo from Arc V and Playmaker from Vrains
For a bonus connection between Metagross and xyz- dragon cannon is that metagross has a huge X on it's face.
…Gig… Regi-GIG-is…
I'd love to see this concept expanded to other series and characters, though.
Interesting Theory. We still wait for the modern day Yu-Gi-Oh Arch-Rivals decks. 💪
i would love to see What if Yu-Gi-Oh characters had Digimon partners
Fun concept. I probably would have used Whimsicot for Kuriboh. It has better utility and potential to be an ace in the hole
Seto would be very bitter having his line-up team lose to Yugi's
Well this is a breath of fresh air on yugioh
Some Changes I would've made:
Instead of Kabuto, I'd give Yugi Eevee for Kuriboh.
Personally, I would have made Summoned Skull a Houndoom since Houndour can learn Thunder Fang as an egg move
My idea for Akiza:
Her mon would be as follows. But, you can guess which cards they are.
Azelf
Shiny Umbreon
Florges
Mega Ampharos
Tangrowth
Kabutop
this man does NOT know pokémon so many better options
One funny thing is that Yugi don't start the anime/manga with Dark Magician, it's one of hist grandpa's card. Tecnically his starter should be Summoned Skull, his ace monster in his first duel
I would choose Black Luster Soldier as the reference monster for Yugi over Valkyrian. And then for the corresponding Pokémon, maybe…Ceruledge?
Playing Pokémon would probably be a more affordable card game for a guy like Joey as well lol poor guy needs money for his sister after all
Ok but what Pokemon would you use for the winged dragon of ra?
