Lightstorm dragon would be more in the extra deck than in the side deck due to it having a connection with sage, since he literally shows up in the artwork next too lightstorm dragon and aside from that little detail, it just makes sense for it being in the extra deck because it complements really well with Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon.

My thoughts on this: I can see why you threw in the Union monsters here, but part of me wonders if he would even bother with them with Blue-Eyes having gained so much power. I am surprised no Dragon Master Magia. It's a card that could easily be summoned using only Blue-Eyes monsters, can help him recycle cards with the help of being summoned via Ultimate Fusion, and is really powerful.
Master Magia was actually in the first draft of the profile. I eliminated it because, character wise, that feels like more of a Yugi and Kaiba team up card. So for a character deck, it felt a little off. But it would be great in this profile.
I'm not using the same deck as everyone and I am using my own and my own creative. I am not afraid to play with these decks. I maybe just playing for fun or competitive and it depends. It is like team decks versus some decks. Yu gi oh is supposed to be fun in both ways. Have fun and make new friends who is on your level.
Haven't most omni-negate cards been banned or relegated to specific decks? Besides which, I don't know what competitive card game you can play where there won't be people trying to win. Not to say it's the only thing you can do, but be realistic.
@@ZeroOmega-vg8nq playing against meta decks when you just want to have fun can be a nightmare. I was playing earlier today and on the first turn. If they can rework Critias into a Level 8 Dragon that works specifically with Blue-Eyes, like what they did for Timaeus, then Critias will definitely have a place in the deck again.
OG Ultimate is far outclassed by its 2 retrains, which don't require the original to be run in any way. Attack Guidance Armor is a battle trap, and isn't very good. Shining Dragon takes far too much effort to summon for not enough of a reward.
@@whambamduel I think Shining dragon needs either a retrain or something to make it compatible for modern dueling while I know what would do sadly its the cost for it is the problem
@MatthewSP117 Maybe if there was a version that could be summoned using any Level 12 Blue-Eyes monster, we'd be onto something. But for the time being, Blue-Eyes has tons of other way better (and arguably way cooler) evolutions available.
@@MatthewSP117a retrain of it being a main deck omni-negate would be cool, especially if you let it be able to special summon itself, if you control a Blue-Eyes ritual, fusion, synchro, xyz, and link monster etc… that way instead of it needing a tribute you can just special summon it normally
Enraged battle ox does nothing for the deck. Kaiba has no other Beast/Beast-Warrior/Winged Beasts to give piercing, so it'd basically just be a 1700 attacker, which is nothing. All versions of Kaiser Glider aren't that great. The best one, Neo Kaiser Glider, is just a slightly different Silver's Cry, which still wasn't good enough to include in the deck. Kaiser Vorse Raider doesn't do much for either of the deck's strategies. It's a slightly different Cyber Dragon. It might be another DARK for Chaos Emperor, but that'd be about it. Obelisk is in the side deck. Goddess of Sweet Revenge is far too gimmicky, even for a character deck, and its payoff still isn't great even then.
it would be cool seeing oblisk a syncro card. Also didn't know enemy controller became a monster card. I think enemy controller can be its own deck build. Like cards who can always take control of your enemies cards or put them in attack or defense. I also wonder if mokoba made the blue eyes cards more popular when kaiba decided to just run he's company. As we seen in GX kaiba was just doing he's job and increasing the popularity of yugioh by building the school in the GX series.
Here's my list for Blue-Eyes I plan on using in Master Duel. It's slightly more Blue-Eyes pure, and is probably the more competitive build while not being fully meta; 3x Blue-Eyes White Dragon 1x Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon 1x Blue-Eyes Jet Dragon 1x Blue-Eyes Abyss Dragon 3x Neo Kaiser Sea Horse 3x Primite Dragon Ether Beryl 1x The White Stone of Ancients 3x Effect Veiler 3x Maiden of White 3x Sage with Eyes of Blue 1x Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon 1x Bingo Machine, Go!!! 1x Return of the Dragon Lords 1x Roar of the Blue-Eyed Dragons 3x Wishes for Eyes of Blue 1x Primite Drillbeam 1x Primite Roar 1x Ultimate Fusion 3x Primite Lordly Lode 1x Mausoleum of White 1x Destined Rivals 1x Infinite Impermanence 1x Majesty with Dragons of White 1x True Light Extra Deck: 1x Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon 1x Dragon Master Magia 1x Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon 1x Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon 1x Blue-Eyes Tyrant Dragon 1x Blue-Eyes Ultimate Spirit Dragon 1x Lightstorm Dragon 1x Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon 1x Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon 1x Indigo-Eyes Silver Dragon 1x Number 1: Infection Buzzking 1x The Zombie Vampire 1x Underworld Goddess of the Closed World 1x Linkuriboh 1x Spirit with Eyes of Blue There's definitely some stuff here you can cut down on to add more staples. You could cut one vanilla Blue-Eyes, Abyss, and Return of the Dragon Lords, and add in Maxx "C", Ash Blossom, and/or Nibiru. You could consider other generic Rank 8s, like Aegaion.
Hey, so this list isn't exactly meant to be competitive, and is more meant to be a piece of creative character study-- that's why it's a (mostly) singleton list (except for the 3 Blue-Eyes that Kaiba canonically has). That's why you're not seeing any Primite cards, most modern staples, Magia, or some of the cards you mention for the extra deck. Modern competitive lists for just about any deck can be found anywhere online. This instead is meant to be an interesting character study experience, that doesn't have to be competitive, and can afford to be janky and bricky, because such concepts do not exist when adhering to anime logic, which these lists most certainly do.
Just to put it out there. Fine decklist. Won't say change anything just food for thought. Kaiba would totally run Eradictor virus or Grinning Grave virus, The Chaos Dragons all fit the best requirements and he loves to kill peoples options. Second: No one really knows it or sees its usage, but Interdimensional Translocator is a great card for Kaiba and a few decks. It helps target for stuff like Maiden, helps reset if you get negated or Soft OPTs like the XYZ cards(I think). Lastly, You likely already know and you guys talked, but I believe he would side or use Goddess of revenge. it's easier to pull off then you would think. HOnorable mentions to Attack Guidance Armor and Fusion Armament into OG Ultimate Dragon. But those first 3 really wanted to put out there.
Eradicator Epidemic was in heavy consideration for a while, but tributing a Chaos Dragon or The Zombie Vampire for it is a pretty hefty cost. Still, not the worst idea, and definitely an honorable mention.
We didn't forget about Blue-Eyes Solid Dragon, it's just not very good. Its negation effect is proactive instead of reactive, and its quick-effect dodge effect is just a worse version of Dragon Spirit of White's.
Before 2026! Right now we're working on the rivals, the best friends, and the leading ladies. We have a Little Yugi, an Atem, and a Blue-Eyes Yugi video that we want to sprinkle in there somewhere.
Lightstorm Dragon is a Level 9 LIGHT Dragon Synchro that was practically made to be used in a Blue-Eyes Deck, and can be tagged into with Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon. The Zombie Vampire is there to represent all of the older/creepy DARK monsters that were left out of this deck, such as Vampire Lord, the Dark Clowns, Vorse Raider, etc, but in a way that's useful to a Blue-Eyes deck, being a Rank 8 and all. Steel Star Regulator is meant to be used with the Union Machine strategy and to help clear stray/weaker monsters off the board, such as Union Controller after it has used its effect. Plus the deck just kinda needed another solid Link monster body. Hope this helps : )
@chrisd1982 oh ok. Sorry for misunderstanding. ABC was released in a structure deck that i guess was for Kaiba, alongside a magnet warrior one. Wish back then, I thought to buy multiples of those.
@@draconiumnova5110 I haven't played tcg for about 15 years I only play duel links nowadays, the A card is in that game but non of the others so i missed all the others releasing
Looking forward to the next rival, fingers crossed it is gonna be The Chazz, which might feature the legendary Ojamegazord. Also is it just me or did I not see a single DARK monster in the main deck to facilitate Chaos Emperor's own summoning (aside from itself). Relying solely on The Zombie Vampire seems a bit unreliable.
which rival are you going to use from GX for a modern deck because there's like at least three I think Aster Phoenix Zane Truesdale I even considered Chazz a rival in that series Maybe are you going to do all three
We didn't forget about it. It was in consideration for a while, until it was decided that it's just kind of a worse Dragon Spirit of White, and removed it for Deep-Eyes, which is more unique as an interesting recovery piece. If Solid Dragon's negation effect was reactive instead of proactive, it might have had a place in this deck.
This is the first I've ever heard of someone calling that a Kaiba card. I'm genuinely curious as to what about it makes you think it belongs in this deck?
I would have personally chose thunder end dragon as an xyz Monster because I've always felt that thunder end dragon should be part of the blue eyes archetype because from what I remember kaiba did run the thunder dragons
The issue with Thunder End is that it has to be summoned with only normal monsters. The Zombie Vamprire and Indigo-Eyes are both far better cards. Maybe if this profile was made before those two came out, we'd see Thunder End here, but as things are, it's just not worth it. Also, Kaiba's "everything go boom" card is Obelisk, anyways.
Yeah, my idea for a Kaiba deck is basically Blue eyes( Waiting for new support) and obelisk, but knowing the union monsters got retrained I might add them.
I would place King of Dragons instead of Dictator of Dragons & Maiden with Eyes of Blue instead of Maiden of White plus adding Dragon Revival Rhapsody, Double Hooking & Blues Eyes Solid Dragon instead of Dragon Spirit of White while also removing those generic extra deck monsters 😊
Yugi and Atem don't have any cards in any of their decks that require an accel Synchro. Also, Kaiba just seems to be stealing evolved summoning mechanics left and right. Nobody batted an eye when he stole Contact Fusion from Jaden when making Twin Burst, and now his Ultimate Spirit Dragon had Jack's Double Tuning. On top of that, he's also got all of the summoning mechanics, even beyond what Declan had mastered.
@brandonbaggaley2317 due to the fact that the materials get banished, i tend to think of the Union Machine Fusions as something a little different than contact fusion.
@ Contact fusion sends the materials back to the deck. Look at Gladiator Beasts. There are three forms of fusion summoning without a fusion spell: banishing material to the banish zone from the field (Xyz Dragon Cannon), sending materials back to the deck from the field (contact fusion), and sending materials to the graveyard (Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon). Twin Burst’s special alternate summon condition is a less generic version of the summoning condition for Starving Venom Fusion Dragon (not including the not requiring a fusion spell to summon of course.)
@@brandonbaggaley2317 I qualify both the shuffling back into the deck and sending from field to GY as Contact Fusion. Banishing is where I personally draw the line.
What does it mean when a card cannot be targeted by card effects? I’m asking b/c Chaos Max has that exact effect, yet in the DSOD movie, Yugi summoned his Apple, Lemon and Dark Magician girl to half Chaos Max’s attack all the way from 4,000 to 1,000, before the latter destroyed it.
The Magician Girl cards don't target. A card only targets if it specifically uses the word "target" For example, the spell card Dark Core says "Discard 1 card, then *target* 1 face-up monster on the field; banish that target." Apple Magician Girl and Lemon Magician Girl don't actually target an opponents monster, they just affect a monster that attacks them.
maiden with eyes of blue would have been a better card than maiden of white but i got to new blue eyes card cause of a new blue deck being released next month. thanks for the leaks bro
Youll be able to play it once the support from the new structure is added. Will probably be sometime later this year. Only issue is that Alternativr Ultimate is not available in Master Duel-- although there are tons of cards you can play in its' place.
Until it comes out in the new Structure Deck in about a month, give or take a little bit. Same goes for some of the other cards in this deck. The new Union Machines don't come out till March either.
Also, i feel like he'd either have the Union monsters as a separate Deck, or drop them completely, as they'd brick way too much in a Blue Eyes Deck, even with the modern support.
@whambamduel Fair enough, but even so, the writers still need to write around the cards in hand, so they can't make a brick hand not brick if their opponent has a better hand. That only works with the addition of new cards that haven't been introduced to the game yet (i.e. soul exchange tributing three monsters instead of one, Ra having ten trillion effects, etc) or the character being written to make a mistake (blue girl losing with her Trickstar Deck when she could've easily won, and her opponent having a card that ONLY counters dmg that is 300 or less).
@@ninkstheultimate3376 True, but that's all stuff that can still be handled. Soul Exchange tributing 3 monsters has been reworked into Soul Crossing. Ra's 10 trillion effects has been reworked into three different forms and all of the backrow support. We're definitely getting there.
@whambamduel Fair enough. My point being, though, is that these cards would pre-exist before the anime, rather than first appearing in the anime and then having cards made to represent the anime effects. I just think it'd be much harder to write off effects of cards that already exist than it would be to write off effects of cards that are introduced via the anime.
I'll be real with ya, it might take a while. Videos like that are a huge production, not to mention that we'll likely end up outsourcing voice actors for Yusei and Yuma. I can assure you though, work on that has already begun.
Everything about this profile is great except The Zombie Vampire, it just feels out of place. I know he used Vampire Lord once but I don’t think of Vampire Lord as a Kaibi card. Divine Dragon Knight Felgrand, Hieratic Sky Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis or Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis all feel like better options to me
Vampire Lord was deemed important enough by Konami to warrant a Duel Links Summon Animation, but on top of that, The Zombie Vampire is meant to represent all of the old/creepy DARK monsters that Kaiba used to play, such as the Dark Clowns, Giant Germ, Vorse Raider, etc on top of Vampire Lord, but in a way that's compatible with a Blue-Eyes deck, being a Rank-8 and all. As for the Felgrands and Hieratics, I have plans for those cards for other decks.
@ Vampire Lord is a sweet card historically, I’m just saying that Vampire Lord isn’t much of a Kaibi card. I understand your reasoning, I personally don’t agree with it, if you’re going to use Return of the Dragon Lords then personally I would have gone with Divine Dragon Knight Felgrand, it also just feels way more like a Kaibi card.
@@davidmacarthur705 I've got other plans for the Felgrand cards, and that's one of 'em, so I didn't want to overuse it by also having it in this list. Return of the Dragon Lords may be referential of Felgrand, but it isn't a Felgrand card by name.
Magia, in the anime/manga continuities, is designed to be a card that Yugi and Kaiba would use in a Tag Duel. Including it in a solo Kaiba list, in continuity, would be odd, because even though he can technically summon it on his own, there's still the Magician of Black Chaos right there in the card art.
Oh Kaiba didn’t pull them. In the manga, he tells Yugi’s grandpa about how he got them. He found out who the collectors who had them were. He forced one into bankruptcy. He cut a deal with the mafia to help him get the second. And the third collector “took his own life.” So all around, Kaiba’s a bastard
Kaiba's bullshit is nuts. Not only did he summon Obelisk in Darkside of dimensions when God cards was supposed to be gone forever after the Ceremonial duel; He created a device, using the antagonists "paradise cube", to Reality hack his way into the Egyptian afterlife JUST to be able to duel Atem again. Assume nothing is out of Kaiba's reach when it comes to his Deck, his Dragons, or his Obsession with The Pharoh.
I get that, but it really is made to be used when Yugi and Kaiba are tag dueling. If Kaiba were to summon it, the Magician of Black Chaos that is on the art of the card coming out of nowhere would just feel wrong. I get that it works with any "Chaos" ritual, including the Blue-Eyes ones, but visually from an anime standpoint, it would just be odd. I can assure you Magia wasn't forgotten about, and was in heavy consideration for the deck for a long time.
@whambamduel i get it, but still, I run Blue-eyes. One of the new support cards basically lets you dump an ultimate dragon for making it easier to summon... and basically give you a free Tyrant.
@@RFDN0 Why do that with the non-effect monster that does nothing in the graveyard, when you can instead equip Neo Ultimate to make Tyrant, and get Neo Ultimate in the graveyard to use the effect that it has that can activate in the graveyard? For summoning Magia in a Tag Duel with Yugi, Ultimate Fusion can also just shuffle back 3 Blue-Eyes and/or Alternatives alongside one of Yugi's Rituals.
@whambamduel I normally would dump Ultimate because neo-ultimate can and has been a finishers for me in many duels. Alternate ultimate is not in master duel, so I haven't built a deck with it. Magia, also, if destroyed, let you pull out monsters from the extra deck, so that is another reason. With the ease of getting true light on the field now and the addition of the field spell now helping progress the new link monster that balance likely will shift as a field effect basically won't exist in many board sets now. Also, ultimate fusion only summons magia with Blue-eyes ultimate dragon. The new in grave polymerization equivalent will patch that up, letting it be used for Magia but I so far have had issues getting Magia out with Poly outside of my opening hand unless I significantly weakened my board. With ultimate fusion and having dumped Ultimate dragon you can Tryant, and Magia on the field decently easily with the new support while possibly getting out other monsters. I honestly plan on building the physical deck when the structure deck is release in USA and testing starting hands.
@@RFDN0 I get all of that, and I get that Magia is a good card for a modern Blue-Eyes deck, but you're forgetting the reason why I left it out of this thematic decklist. It's because in terms of anime continuity, it'd make a lot more sense if this was a card that Yugi and Kaiba used in a Tag Duel together, due to the artwork featuring monsters from both parties.
Why? That'd be pretty difficult to make without tagging into it with Spirit Dragon. The deck is a bunch of Level 8 dragons and Level 1 Tuners, so 9 is the optimal level for synchros.
Even though he could technically make it on his own, Magia is more designed to be a Tag Dueling card for Yugi and Kaiba, and wouldn't make much sense in continuity if he summoned it by himself, since it features Magician of Black Chaos on the card art.
choose one of the 2. Either Blue-Eyes, or Union-Machines. Also, forget Obelisk. There's not enough space in a deck to fit all those in, if we also want to account for having the necessary amount of handtraps to interact with out opponent on turn one, assuming we didn't win the coin toss. Another thing: Dragon Master Magia. If anyone, Kaiba could affor it's ridiculous pricetag. And with the new Blue-Eyes support, you could run Crimson Dragon, to tag out into Ancient Fairy Dragon, to destroy Mausoleum of White, to add Gateway to Chaos (or whatever that field spell's name was that adds a BLS ritual monster from deck to hand) than use the graveyard effect of one of the new Blue-Eyes spells that equips the OG Ultimate onto a Blue-Eyes, get rid of that Blue-Eyes so the equip card goes in the grave, ultimate fusion the OG Ultimate + BLS into Magia. +3 Negates. You're welcome. The full combo can go down nicely with 1 Sage as a starter.
This list is not meant to be competitive. It is meant to be a singleton list (besides the 3 Blue-Eyes), and is more of a piece of character study than anything else. Even though the deck could technically make Magia on its own, Magia features Magician of Black Chaos on the card art, and is clearly meant to be a card used when Yugi and Kaiba Tag Duel, which is why it got left out. Crimson Dragon and Ancient Fairy Dragon are both cards that belong to different characters, and wouldn't make sense in-continuity for Kaiba to have. Additionally, when scripting a duel, a deck's consistency doesn't matter, since a character can be written to draw any given card at any given time, so for the purposes of this deck, we do not need to choose between Blue-Eyes or Union machines, nor do we need to "forget Obelisk." So don't just say "your're welcome" as if you somehow know what we want better than we do. That comes off as arrogant. You're clearly more competitively-minded, and that's okay, but that's just not what this deck is built for. Competitive Blue-Eyes lists are a dime a dozen and can be found anywhere. What we're offering here is more of a character study experience.

BOII Critias and Hermos need their monster version retrains forreal.
@jacobemerson4749 I KNOW, RIGHT?
If they can rework Critias into a Level 8 Dragon that works specifically with Blue-Eyes, like what they did for Timaeus, then Critias will definitely have a place in the deck again.
@@whambamduel TRUE
Same goes for hermos, because let's face it, he needs it more than anyone
I'm surprised OG Blue-Eyes Ultimate isn't mentioned or even Attack Guidance armor along with the Blue-Eyes shining dragon
OG Ultimate is far outclassed by its 2 retrains, which don't require the original to be run in any way.
Attack Guidance Armor is a battle trap, and isn't very good.
Shining Dragon takes far too much effort to summon for not enough of a reward.
@@whambamduel
I think Shining dragon needs either a retrain or something to make it compatible for modern dueling while I know what would do sadly its the cost for it is the problem
@MatthewSP117 Maybe if there was a version that could be summoned using any Level 12 Blue-Eyes monster, we'd be onto something. But for the time being, Blue-Eyes has tons of other way better (and arguably way cooler) evolutions available.
@@whambamduel
Sadly Yeah
@@MatthewSP117a retrain of it being a main deck omni-negate would be cool, especially if you let it be able to special summon itself, if you control a Blue-Eyes ritual, fusion, synchro, xyz, and link monster etc… that way instead of it needing a tribute you can just special summon it normally
After seeing this, I am patiently awaiting for a Jack Atlas deck profile.
Scheduled to release on Jan 28th! Can't wait to share!
Finally
You are all good mostly.
I've missed a few cards such as raging battle ox, kaiser glider - golden burst, Kaiser Vorse Raider, and goddess of sweet revenge
Petin the clown + crush card, ring of destruction, Vorse Raider retrain, among others I think he would consider running.
Those cards all don't do enough for this deck. Even Crush Card isn't that great anymore today.
Yes this is Kaiba modern Yugioh deck
it would be cool seeing oblisk a syncro card.
Here's my list for Blue-Eyes I plan on using in Master Duel. It's slightly more Blue-Eyes pure, and is probably the more competitive build while not being fully meta;
3x Blue-Eyes White Dragon
1x Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon
1x Blue-Eyes Jet Dragon
1x Blue-Eyes Abyss Dragon
3x Neo Kaiser Sea Horse
3x Primite Dragon Ether Beryl
1x The White Stone of Ancients
3x Effect Veiler
3x Maiden of White
3x Sage with Eyes of Blue
1x Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon
1x Bingo Machine, Go!!!
1x Return of the Dragon Lords
1x Roar of the Blue-Eyed Dragons
3x Wishes for Eyes of Blue
1x Primite Drillbeam
1x Primite Roar
1x Ultimate Fusion
3x Primite Lordly Lode
1x Mausoleum of White
1x Destined Rivals
1x Infinite Impermanence
1x Majesty with Dragons of White
1x True Light
Extra Deck:
1x Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon
1x Dragon Master Magia
1x Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon
1x Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon
1x Blue-Eyes Tyrant Dragon
1x Blue-Eyes Ultimate Spirit Dragon
1x Lightstorm Dragon
1x Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon
1x Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon
1x Indigo-Eyes Silver Dragon
1x Number 1: Infection Buzzking
1x The Zombie Vampire
1x Underworld Goddess of the Closed World
1x Linkuriboh
1x Spirit with Eyes of Blue
There's definitely some stuff here you can cut down on to add more staples.
@whambamduel Wasn't really criticizing your guys' build. I know it's for character stuff. I just wanted to share just because. Meant no disrespect
@FruityGroovy you're all good, it's just tough to tell sometimes. That's how UA-cam Comments are lol.
Personally, I'm surprised Kaiba isn't running fusion armament and Shining Dragon.
Unfortunately, Shining Dragon just isn't as worth it as it used to be.
Ooohhh great, now I’m stuck with the mental image of Juggernaut Liebe getting crammed on the back of a jet to dodge a trap hole with spikes, help…
As a Blue Eyes player, I can't believe you forgot to mention Blue Eyes Solid Dragon. 😵💫
We didn't forget about Blue-Eyes Solid Dragon, it's just not very good. Its negation effect is proactive instead of reactive, and its quick-effect dodge effect is just a worse version of Dragon Spirit of White's.
No blue eyes magnia mention😅
When will you make the yami yugi (Atem) 2025 deck?
Before 2026!
Right now we're working on the rivals, the best friends, and the leading ladies. We have a Little Yugi, an Atem, and a Blue-Eyes Yugi video that we want to sprinkle in there somewhere.
I was waiting for you to say "genius billionare playboy philanthropist and massive misanthrope" lol
Ah! A regular! And one who doesn't hate that joke. My day has been made!
Wait, what do Lightstorm Dragon, The Zombie Vampire, and Steel Star Regulator have to do with Kaiba? I don't really understand those picks.
I didn't realise the xyz union monsters had been expanded on, I was aware of v tiger jet and w wing catapult but non of the newer ones mentioned here
Kaiba didn't use vw, Chazz Princeton did.
@draconiumnova5110 I know that I was simply stating that I was aware of them but not the ABC and xyz retrains
@@chrisd1982 ah ok
Looking forward to the next rival, fingers crossed it is gonna be The Chazz, which might feature the legendary Ojamegazord.
Also is it just me or did I not see a single DARK monster in the main deck to facilitate Chaos Emperor's own summoning (aside from itself). Relying solely on The Zombie Vampire seems a bit unreliable.
Dictator, Chaos Dragon, and Chaos MAX are all DARK monsters too, and the latter 2 can even be recurred with Chaos Emp's Pendulum Effect.
It's gonna be the Chazz!
I can’t wait for Jack Atlas so I can try his modern deck
Jack Atlas should be out this month!
So who's the next chazz or zane or both
If you do a Joey Wheeler 2025 deck profile do you think it would a Metalmorph, Red-eyes, Flame Swordsman hybrid style deck or what?
That's pretty much what we're doing, yeah 😂
which rival are you going to use from GX for a modern deck because there's like at least three I think Aster Phoenix Zane Truesdale I even considered Chazz a rival in that series Maybe are you going to do all three
We're gonna be chazzing it up : )
Eventually we'll get to all three, but for the main rival, the Chazz is up!
Forgot about Blue-Eyes Solid Dragon.
Surprised Mysterion the Dragon Crown isnt in it
This is the first I've ever heard of someone calling that a Kaiba card. I'm genuinely curious as to what about it makes you think it belongs in this deck?
I would have personally chose thunder end dragon as an xyz Monster because I've always felt that thunder end dragon should be part of the blue eyes archetype because from what I remember kaiba did run the thunder dragons
Plus it has a nifty effect of copying black rose dragon as in detached both his materials and everything go boom
Are the unions ocg only?
@sarkiskasabian4555 theyre coming to the TCG in March in the set Maze of the Master
We need one for Zane and the cyber dragons
I would place King of Dragons instead of Dictator of Dragons & Maiden with Eyes of Blue instead of Maiden of White plus adding Dragon Revival Rhapsody, Double Hooking & Blues Eyes Solid Dragon instead of Dragon Spirit of White while also removing those generic extra deck monsters 😊
I’m kinda disappointed that the X Y Z union monsters haven’t been retrained to use XYZ monsters I read of fusions.
If Kaiba is getting Xyz summoning and Jack’s double tuning synchro summoning mechanics, Yugi and Atem better get Accel Synchro.
@ Xyz Dragon Cannon existed before Jaden did. Jaden took contact fusion from Kaiba.
I just want to see Joey Wheeler already. He's my favorite character
As soon as we're done with the rivals, Joey is the very next one up!
Playing master duel i literally dueled against Seto Kiaba yesterday legends state if hes still dueling today, i can attest he surely is.
You forgot the 3 sangi the dark clown
Can you do salamangreat next
We've got a Soulburner video in the works. It's not up next, but it is coming!
Can't wait for a yusei modern deck . Maybe make tuning less cumbersome
Yusei was posted last year.
Happy to report, the Yusei video is out now! ua-cam.com/video/HowGoJ6_YBk/v-deo.html
No deck profile? v_v
A card only targets if it specifically uses the word "target"
For example, the spell card Dark Core says "Discard 1 card, then *target* 1 face-up monster on the field; banish that target."
Apple Magician Girl and Lemon Magician Girl don't actually target an opponents monster, they just affect a monster that attacks them.
@@whambamduel oh, woah-that makes a lot more sense, thank you!
We need a modern Joey deck aswell
Already in the works!
maiden with eyes of blue would have been a better card than maiden of white but i got to new blue eyes card cause of a new blue deck being released next month. thanks for the leaks bro
Maiden with Eyes of Blue is in no way better than Maiden of White. Maiden of White was effectively made to replace the original Maiden.
Maiden of White is loads better as it can play True Light instantly and be an extender in grave
I have a hard time believing that Kaiba would be friendly to Unions.
Just toss in Blue eyes shining dragon for good measure.
Raise your hand if you are looking forward to the new structure deck. I know I am.
So...WHEN CAN WE PLAY THIS IN MASTER DUEL?????????
Youll be able to play it once the support from the new structure is added. Will probably be sometime later this year. Only issue is that Alternativr Ultimate is not available in Master Duel-- although there are tons of cards you can play in its' place.
The solution to the data leak thing; just be a boring interesting person 😆
yougi is wining besouse of Plot armor , and Luck bending Anciant relick . that is pure cheet . but also i like him but Kaiba is my favarot , DRAGONS .
Gotta ask again, Yu-Gi-Oh GX rewrite when? :3
Also Great Video!
What does monster reborn do?
Lets you draw two cards.
Neo kaiser is only in the OCG
Until it comes out in the new Structure Deck in about a month, give or take a little bit. Same goes for some of the other cards in this deck. The new Union Machines don't come out till March either.
Also, i feel like he'd either have the Union monsters as a separate Deck, or drop them completely, as they'd brick way too much in a Blue Eyes Deck, even with the modern support.
Bricking is not a concern when making an anime character deck. Characters only brick when they're written to brick, like in the Joey vs Zigfried duel.
When will get yusei vs yuma
I'll be real with ya, it might take a while. Videos like that are a huge production, not to mention that we'll likely end up outsourcing voice actors for Yusei and Yuma.
I can assure you though, work on that has already begun.
Would this deck even work?
probably not
Only with anime luck and logic. Luckily, thats the only way this deck needs to work for our purposes.
All i can say is there’s absolutely no way Kaiba wouldn’t be using Melody of Awakening Dragon.
Melody is in the deck.
IDK about the XYZ cards. I think he would just use the dragons and spellcasters.
He should have 3 alternative, he had 3 in DDOS
No he didn't. He only used a single copy a single time in his duel against Aigami. The rest were all OG Blue-Eyes.
This deck of Kaiba blue eyes is awesome but custom this deck with any cards that support this deck you will be O.P. with/without the god card
Oh for sure. If we were going competitive, Obelisk and his support would be gone.
Not including Magia feels like an insult, ngl
Magia, in the anime/manga continuities, is designed to be a card that Yugi and Kaiba would use in a Tag Duel. Including it in a solo Kaiba list, in continuity, would be odd, because even though he can technically summon it on his own, there's still the Magician of Black Chaos right there in the card art.
How does Kaiba be the only person on the planet to end up with/pull blue eyes cards lol
Oh Kaiba didn’t pull them. In the manga, he tells Yugi’s grandpa about how he got them.
He found out who the collectors who had them were. He forced one into bankruptcy. He cut a deal with the mafia to help him get the second. And the third collector “took his own life.”
So all around, Kaiba’s a bastard
Kaiba's bullshit is nuts. Not only did he summon Obelisk in Darkside of dimensions when God cards was supposed to be gone forever after the Ceremonial duel; He created a device, using the antagonists "paradise cube", to Reality hack his way into the Egyptian afterlife JUST to be able to duel Atem again. Assume nothing is out of Kaiba's reach when it comes to his Deck, his Dragons, or his Obsession with The Pharoh.
more like his obsession with winning that and he sees the Pharaoh as a true rival
You forgot magia, He has everything needed to make it in deck and he would run it.
Of course Obelisk is immune to card effects. Why? It's no monster, it's a God.
He forgot 1 blue eyes
I'm still waiting for a level 8 Blue-Eyes synchro monster.
Why? That'd be pretty difficult to make without tagging into it with Spirit Dragon. The deck is a bunch of Level 8 dragons and Level 1 Tuners, so 9 is the optimal level for synchros.
Yall, hear me out. Abyss Dragon. Hear me out. Im just saying. She a bad bitch.
No Magia?
Even though he could technically make it on his own, Magia is more designed to be a Tag Dueling card for Yugi and Kaiba, and wouldn't make much sense in continuity if he summoned it by himself, since it features Magician of Black Chaos on the card art.
888th like lez go
choose one of the 2.
Additionally, when scripting a duel, a deck's consistency doesn't matter, since a character can be written to draw any given card at any given time, so for the purposes of this deck, we do not need to choose between Blue-Eyes or Union machines, nor do we need to "forget Obelisk."
So don't just say "your're welcome" as if you somehow know what we want better than we do. That comes off as arrogant. You're clearly more competitively-minded, and that's okay, but that's just not what this deck is built for. Competitive Blue-Eyes lists are a dime a dozen and can be found anywhere. What we're offering here is more of a character study experience.
