Eight degrees isn't enough in the winter, it's too bad you don't have a regular wooden or metal shed, you're too far north for a fabric shed, I don't think they'd work very good here either,😞, they might be ok in places that don't get snow, but even then their usability is probably limited, you might need to become a carpenter next year, lol, great video guys,👍, thanks for sharing.

No dice. Technically he's still in city limits so can't build anything "permanent" otherwise code enforcement will make him feel the long dick of the law

Put in 2 small round vents on each side, It will take care of any moisture problem. I had the same problem and the vents solved it. Small round plastic vents from Home Depot.

Good video but when you put the thermometer on a metal table it is fooled to thinking its colder than the actual ambient temp.

That's an impressive heater. How much fuel does it use per hour? Does the exterior of the heater get very hot?

The going rate seems to be about 36 hours of run time to the gallon plus or minus 2 hours. I have noted high humidity days I drastically lose fuel economy. Heat wise the entire rig is plastic case you need to respect the exhaust but other then that its safe to touch.

Foam insulation boards might help? Thinking about that for my Shelter Logic "garage"

I can't stop thinking you all are ready for trade shows and side hustles there? ;-) Wondering if you can run just a pipe alone up in the air, so like there is a airflow differential to keep the moisture from wanting to condense? I never zip one side of mine and have the greenhouse cover over that side so rain and snow won't get in or much snow and airflow still happens. Otherwise, mine will start smelling like an old tent and like strong.

Those things burn waste oil and if so how safely and reliably?

I plan tomorrow to run a dryer vent hose from the heater to the back of shed to force a full circulation. Will they burn waste oil yes in a mix but has to be active use it can not sit. Also the waste oil is known to kill the burner 3 or 4 times faster. So it has to be worth knowing you are sacrificing $120 at some point.

@@redneckcomputergeek Ah, wondering if any way around the burner situation life cycle reduction. I never really looked into those since free sliding glass doors seem to be my next plan for heating to save a few and spend more on stuff. Dad left a big solar greenhouse that needs some repair and can be tapped for heat. Plus I scored some and looks like I'll be bringing em down to this base camp. Will see in the next few years what I get around to. Pallet rack beams for supports so far and a more metal portable plan to replace the wood. Thanks for sharing and the heads up on those. Waste oil burners have caught my attention however and those seem neat. Still, they burn through some fuel.

Soda can solar heaters are no joke. Look into it if you have a south facing window make an insert for winter.

@@redneckcomputergeek Awesome, yes, I have two old mirror backed shelves I made back in high school that inset into an end wall entertainment center wall build. I've removed the shelve pieces and a couple years ago was planning one at least will be used for. Desertsun's videos had me convinced and seems you mentioned or had as well prior. Anyways, wanted to mention the PORTABLE HARBOR FREIGHT GARAGE MODIFICATIONS by Richie Speed YT channel since hes out east and noted condensation issues until he installed the vents if I recall correct. He's the most custom tarp cover design I've seen. I just got a letter in the mail noting my storage rental is going up $30 more a month, so about to get one up just for most of that stuff, at least I'm thinking. I want to glass on the south side and one wall as well for greenhouse potential.

Nice one. I've fitted some reclamation foam with foil backing insulation boards to the inside of my work shed which really helps both with moisture and thermal protection they are fire proof also and your heating system looks brilliant so I will have to look into one . The only thing is does it need to have the exhaust covered to help with any carbon monoxide that might fill your work place cheers again and keep you and your family warm and safe
