Thank you very much for another great video! I loved it. Can I ask you where can I find a good and silk white button down shirt? Which brand I can look for those? Thank you!
So with your everyday essentials, do you only have two pair of jeans, one dark and one mid wash? Two white shirts, one cotton structured and one billowy? The reason I ask is I am on a minimal journey and curious if those items you mentioned you actually have more of or just a cpl of each.
A very helpful video. Thank you. I live in a climate with 4 very distinct seasons and one of my essentials is a classic black jacket for spring and autumn and a winter coat also black. I also have heirloom jewelry which I wear occasionally and always get compliments on.
I just wanna bulit it, since I'm a college student. Somehow my personal style seems to be like 'lecturer-like style' uGh. But anyways I love your style and... can you show us all of your outfit?
My wardrobe is just a bunch of accent pieces that dont blend together. Thank you for pointing that out! I really need to work on that all year around basics.
Dear Audrey, I enjoy your videos so much! No yelling, soothing relaxing voice, classy speech and GREAT contents! This is the best wadrobe classification I have seen so far. Cheers!
I agree completely, Audrey actually goes to trouble of classifying, analyzing and teaching instead of just throwing stuff at you and acting like a know it all.
I love that you emphasize an individualized wardrobe. In the last several years I have learned not to try to conform to what everyone “needs” in their wardrobe but rather what I need in my own unique wardrobe and helps me feel most like me.
I think I like this idea of categories. It's less pressure than trying to fully capsule-ize your closet but still helps you refine your style and clear out clutter so you can buy less. Great video!!
Since I am significantly older than you, during the winter, I find a good black turtleneck is essential. They go under everything and also keep you warm in the cold weather we are having. Thank you for the lovely videos you present-- I so enjoy them ;-)
I am just beginning to cultivate my own style. I'm at the beginning of this journey to reinvent how I approach all of this. I love watching your videos. Thank you for sharing all of your insights.
Loved your essentials. Some of these are my essentials (jeans, t-shirts, knit shawls because I am a knitter) and some I am looking to add (classic jewelry, white shirt). Your channel has really been helping me to develop my personal style. You give great tips and have a very calming demeanor. I truly enjoy your videos❤️
My favorite piece is my denim jacket! It’s a medium wash and what makes it so special is the interior front pockets...like men’s jackets! I especially love wearing it while traveling...great for keeping phone, earbuds etc close at hand!
Audrey! Extremely new to your channel. Discovered you just an hour ago and I Have never left any comment on any UA-cam channels but at the end of the video, when you asked to leave a comment down below, starting to type this was my natural reflex. Oh! I have watched a lot of fashion influencers but nobody got me like you do. You make it so simple and make me want to build all these capsule wardrobe and wardrobe essentials for myself. Have never been so inspired in my whole life. You make me want to reflect upon my personal style and taste and pinpoint where exactly I have been going wrong this whole time. A very heartfelt thanks to you, Audrey. The way you speak, the way you explain, the way you create your content is simply brilliant. YOU INSPIRE ME. THANKYOU! :)
i am skirt person, so of course, skirts are staples(mainly midi or long!). also moto jackets, pumps, jewelery and perfume!!! all essentials! can't wait for the scarf videos!have a great day!
I've been watching you for about a year now, Audrey, and my newfound free time allowed me to create a wardrobe that I'm proud of and that represents me. You explain it so well with real examples. Thank you!
I like your approach to fashion. I don’t feel the need to conform to feel stylish. Rather keeping it simple, clean and modern. Currently reviewing my wardrobe and deciding what really works, looks nice, feels nice and is comfortable! Thanks!
Hi Audrey, I find all your videos really instructive. Your tutorials detail what fashion can look like and, how keeping things classic, really does make an understated and elegant statement that is achievable, attractive and modern. Thank you. 👗👖🥿🧥👜
This is such a great way to look at essentials, it’s quite liberating! My year round essentials are dark wash ankle jeans, striped 3/4 length t-shirts, lightweight blazers, ballet flats, and vintage Dooney & Bourke crossbody & satchel bags (I fell in love with them in high school and have worn them with essentially every outfit for the last decade-they are truly part of my personal style!). I love your videos. Thanks for inspiring me to realize and cultivate my own personal style 💕 xo Jomarie
Looking forward to your video of scarves. I have a lot scarves because i love buying them but i dont know how to wear them since i live in a tropical country. Thank you.
I love your voice, Audrey. It’s so eloquent and sophisticated, and your kind nature really shines through. Your style is elegant, timeless and graceful. Keep up the great work you’re doing!
I recently discovered your channel and I’m having such a fun time learning from you! My #1 wardrobe essential is black jeans. I love keeping 3-4 on hand in varying degrees of dark for more formal to faded for more casual. Also I notice you don’t really mention cardigans in your videos but cardigans are a staple for me to transition outfits from work to after work, varying temperatures, etc. Thank you for the consistently thoughtful content and I look forward to watching more of your videos!
The problem for me is that I like all of these things and because I am older now I do seem to have rather a lot of silk scarves, jewelry, handbag and so on. It certainly is not a capsule wardrobe any more. I think that when you are my age you will think twice. If you want your capsule wardrobe then you will need to get rid of some of the lovely items that you have collected. How do you choose what stays and what goes ? The best items are the one's that I have had the longest. Linda xx
Love your insight and your style! So glad I found your channel. I’ve tried and I want to be confident in silk scarfs but I just can’t get it out of my head that I look like an airline stewardess👩✈️ I also want to love a white button down shirt but I feel like I look like a waitress. Lol. I have found that I really enjoy a collarless linen shirt however and your last video really resonated with me. I realized that when I decided I wanted a more classic wardrobe I bought what I thought I should and putting it all together I felt like I was wearing a costume. Slowly I’m learning and cultivating quality, classic pieces that are more me. Thank you for your style insights, couldnt have gotten wear I am now without it
If you think that you look like an air stewardess then try a much larger scarf tired very loosely or just wrapped round and not tied. It will get you started on the way to loving scarves. Linda xx
For the shirt, maybe try something more loose (like the one that she wears) and don't use it with a pencil skirt. I don't like how I look with slim shirt too but I love loose fit shirt
Great video and I really appreciate your comments about personalising your wardrobe basics to make them your own. Most wardrobe basics videos extoll the virtues of the white shirt but I don’t wear white. Every time I wear white I look pale and washed out, and people ask me if I’m feeling okay all day, so it is clearly not a good look on me. I’m a jeans and T-shirt girl and I love sweaters. My other key wardrobe basic is light summer dresses. I live in Australia, so it’s really hot in summer and you need something light and loose to throw on when it in the high 30s.
Another gem, thank you! My essentials: White shirts, tees in white/black/navy, black/gray/navy pants, jeans, silk scarves, (❤️❤️❤️) cashmere sweaters, everyday gold hoops, chain, vintage watch and wedding band (not all at once!) - add seasonal bag , footwear and outerwear. I have a small collection of denim shirts and dresses. I’ve always been an “editor” of my closet, but your videos have helped refine that skill!
I love sweaters too. Although I love in a mild climate with terrible heat in the summer and early fall, I have found a couple of very light, almost tissue weight sweaters along with some warmer sweaters I can wear year around. I also love color and work to find nice pieces for my casual lifestyle with beautiful colors that make me happy. My biggest challenge is to find pieces that really fit well and enable me to feel and look my best. It’s harder than it seems to find JUST the right piece and to be patient until I do find it. I find your ideas about fashion interesting and thought provoking!
Hi Audrey! Would you include how you store and care for your silk scarves when you aren’t wearing them too? Mine always has a fold or two in it when I take it out to wear. Would love to know your secrets to keeping them wear-ready!
You're one of the few fashion and lifestyle youtubers that I can watch anymore; I find so many of them are so pompous, arrogant and pretentious (and, oddly enough, orange like an oompa loompa...but perhaps that's their cameras not liking their tanner?) and cover it badly with an extremely fake "sweet" persona. Your down to earth, easy-going personality is such a pleasant breath of fresh air. You seem yourself, not someone playing a part, if that makes sense. When you give opinions on minimalism, as well, I find you so non-judgemental and easy to relate to, that I've been slowly going down that road now, myself. I never feel like I'm being preached to or talked down to. The only complaint I have is I'm going through your videos and won't have as many to watch now. 😂
washington1884 so well put. There’s something about Audrey that is so soothing and genuine, and she makes me feel like she’s my stylish friend, not a UA-camr. Keep it up Audrey!
Try Justine Leconte - she is great too. These two - Audrey and Justine are the only ones I watch. Very sensible ladies...... from a 59yo Aussie from Nth Queensland- Australia.
You’re so sweet and fun to watch, you should do lifestyle videos! I would love to hear you’re point of view on food, beauty, self care, etc. Thanks for you’re generosity, you make me think about my wardrobe in a much more structured way :)
I just discovered your videos and I have enjoyed all the ones I have seen so far. You are well spoken and your videos are short and sweet and more importantly, to the point. Thank you for that.
I love your channel - you are delightful! I have learned so much about putting together a classic style wardrobe. I look forward to your videos each week!
Breaking these down into categories is a brilliant idea! It really helps me think about my wardrobe in a whole new way! I've been struggling with my wardrobe and everything about it for 6 months now! After seeing this video I believe I can get it much more sorted out and easier to deal with! Thank you very much! Take care Audrey 🧡🧡 looking forward to your next video!
Thank you so much for your amazing videos! For so many years I have struggled with style and feeling confident in my clothes. Your videos have helped me give myself permission to love a clothing item that maybe isn't "in style" and helped me love the wardrobe I already own. As well as figure out how to rework my wardrobe so I'm never bored. ♡♡
I'm definitely goin to creating a capsule wardrobe. Watching from Philippines. I have this attitude when buying things that I make sure I can use them multiple times like hitting two birds in one stone. I love earth or neutral colors. I love simple & elegant designs.
You are so pleasant to look at & hear that sometimes I am only smiling at your smile n forget to hear what you say... I have to then see the video all over again ❣️
can't believe my accent piece is my coffee mug (yeah you will see it whenever you see me, and people always ask me where I got it or say it's such a cool mug lol
Nice video! I think my essentials are great pair of straight leg jeans, lots of plain t shirts, and blazers at my age. It's what I feel most comfortable in lately.
Can you comment or make a video addressing how to find or deal with white shirts that are made of fabric so thin as to se SEE THROUGH. I love white shirts but hate showing undergarments through them. Thanks!
Like Kat Wolf mentioned, a good foundational undergarment is key. I have some “bra top” camisoles in white and a color close to my skin tone. I also almost only buy bras that are black or nude (my nude) and in a smooth fabric. This way, even if the shirt is a little sheer, or of a delicate fabric, my undergarments aren’t seen. White always stands out under white fabrics, so I also only wear nude underwear under my white jeans and lighter colored skirts. I recently bought a bra and a bra-camisole from a company called TruBody that smooths everything and comes in lots of colors so you can try to find something that’s close to your skin tone. I plan on wearing the bra cami under cashmere and wool sweaters during the deep freeze winters we get here.
Dear Audrey! I've been following your videos now for quite a long time and really enjoy your "new style" of filming... sitting on your sofa and inserting some clippings while you talk. My compliments! As always your video about wardrobe-essentials is very comprehensive and a good inspiration to build my own wardrobe more thoughtfully. Thank you! I have a question though: How do you store your wardrobe? Do you put seasonal items away when it is too cold or too hot, etc? Have you any tipps on storing shoes? P.S. my favorite statement accessories are earrings! I love my collection of colorful, special pieces that I've picked during my travels here in Europe. They insert some color and interest in my everyday outfits and remind me of special places I visited...
Audrey, you are so inspiring! Thank you for sharing your experience with all of us. I have a different way of thinking about this that has evolved, in part, from watching you! I love cashmere and how it feels, so I have several sweaters in different colors (grey, black, lime green, pink) that I wear with pants when it is cold. In the winter I'd rather have one great pair of black cashmere PJs than several other items for wearing at home. Because I am very short waisted, I like classic dresses with a solid or pattern through the torso but only when it is hot outside. Thus, my winter essentials (sweater and pants) and my summer essentials (dresses) are very different. I have a few gold pieces of jewelry (ring, watch and earrings) that I wear all year. I have several beautiful silk scarves that I'd love to get more wear out of but that seems to be a function of having the right place to wear them. I look forward to your video on scarves in hopes of learning more ways to wear them. In the Spring and Summer it is challenging because the silk feels to hot and in the winter I don't want to get them wet in the rain and snow. Despite loving the look of classic, buttoned up shirts, I do not like how they look on me because I am so short waisted - if you have tips on how to do that, I'd love to know the secret, because I never feel right in these traditional white shirts. Thank you again for sharing your style, thinking and learning with all of us!
Hi audrey, love your video, aleays classy and chic. I always copy your essentials and add to my wardrobe whatever is missing. Now i dont have the dilema of what to wear. 😳You are what classy and elegance means. 💝
Hi Audrey, I love how you have reframed how you think about wardrobe essentials. This makes so much sense! Love your essentials. I have so many similar ones to you. Not wearing silk right now because of the baby. That might not happen for a few years :) Sending love, Jennifer xx
Yes, definitely several white and black tops, a black skirt, lots of solid sweaters in my favorite colors. I need to get a good pair of jeans. My signature piece is head scarves, I have collected many in my favorite colors, mostly solids : )
Audrey - Always delightful content and presented with such style and grace. As I am a “Senior Gal” even I can pull pointers from your content. Good content does that you know - applicable to all walks of life. Thank you again.
This time of year is a great time to purge closets and jewelry. I recently cleared out 3/4 of my jewelry, either donating or selling higher end pieces. If I don’t wear it, I don’t want it. What a satisfying feeling.
I really love your emphasis of tailoring the essentials to your personal style! People always say your essentials should be blue jeans, white t-shirt and trainers, and for many years I felt I had to wear these things just because that's what everyone believes. I realised they don't actually make me happy at all and now I only wear the essentials which fit my own style, which these days are a white blouse, black mini skirt, black heels, tailored coat and pearl necklace. :)
I love dresses, as you mentioned I can wear them with boots or sweaters in the winter or sandals in the summer! I love bohemian jewelry...those two would be my essentials and what I am known for! I also wanted to tell you I received my Sabina Savage silk scarf today! I loooooove it!
Audrey, thank you, as always for your great tips. I'm a huge fan of the white shirt and think it's so classic a look. Here in UK, the fashion writers seem to be in agreement that cream is the new white and will be big this year. I love the coffee and cream look and disagree with those who say it's too bland! My staple colours are the above, plus navy and black, with pastels in summer. I'm back to Spain in a few weeks for my holiday so it will be mainly white with some lemon or lilac, pale blue etc and delicate jewellery. To keep cool in the sun while sightseeing is the key!
For warm complexions, cream or ivory is a good alternative to pure white. I don't look well in real white (it's too harsh for me), but the softer shades of ivory and cream really accent my light olive complexion.
Agree, as a red head, warm skin tone, autumn palette girl, cream or ivory IS my white, just as brown is my black. I can get away with navy blue as a basic also, especially if I wear it with cream or camel colours but black, white and grey just make me look ill. You have to go with what works for your colourings.
I would love to upgrade my rain jacket for a trench coat, too. Sweaters are definitely a big part of my wardrobe, as well. Thanks for this video, really enjoyed it.
In place of a white shirt I buy off white shorts because of my sallow- yellow tone complexion. Those people who look good in white have sanguine- rosy tone complexion. Love your videos. You seem happy and confident.
Travel wardrobe essentials: scarf for style and also to keep warm on cold flights, comfortable but stylish walking shoes that are appropriate for a meeting as well as walking from one gate to the next, travel coat that can be squeezed into tight places such as a down parka or a layering piece such as a jacket or blazer, trendy compression socks that look like dress socks that are meant to help with circulation during flights two hours or longer
I’ve been building up my scarf collection - silk scarves in particular. Would you be able to talk about the care of them as well as the best storage method? I’ve tried a few but haven’t found the perfect system yet. I also hate ironing. Thanks.
I've recently discovered your channel and just love your content. I also love how you just quickly get to the point (something many UA-camrs can learn from you). Your style is amazing. I look forward to watching more.
Jeans, t-shirts, camisoles and sweaters are my essentials for the entire year. Where I live the seasons run together. I would love to get into buttons down shirts but it’s hard to find a nice structured blouse to accommodate my bust without “the gap.”
I recently found your channel and I love it, you are adorable and your videos are so informative and helpful. It's really joy watching you. My essentials would be jeans definitely, blazers (I have them in a lot of colors, shapes etc) and shirts, same as with balzers i have them in a lot of colors. Oh and hats, I just love them, the only thing that makes me happy about winter are my hats :) My style is pretty colorful and it's like you said when people see me they will say oh ofc you would wear that:)
I love all of your videos, your taste is faultless. I just have a hard time trying to look stylish due to my body shape (large bust, broad shoulders , small hips). Any chance you could work on some videos about how to dress different body shapes? Love from London ♡
My essential is red pieces, especially my Tango Red Vera Bradley pieces. I always get compliments on the color. I also have a few red tops, a red maxi skirt, and some red heels. They are all in a close enough shade to work together as well as on their own. In recent years red has just become my color.
I just joined your channel and I love it! ❤️ You are very beautiful and you have one of the best soothing and classy voices ever! I love your ideas, your energy and your kindness! Keep up the great work! 🥰
Great idea, Audrey! It helps to think of wardrobe essentials in just 3 main categories. Will make it easier to determine what is really needed v. what I have already! Well done!👍😊💞💞
Your essentials are similar to what I reach for in my closet☺️ My essential piece is the short tweed jacket (I like the boy friend blazer but it just doesn't work for my proportions), and black flats in the warmer months switching to black knee high boots in the colder months. I never thought about signature pieces until I watched your video, and realized my signature is pashminas! Great video, Audrey.
After viewing this video, it has given some really great ideas, related to essentials in a wardrobe. I could have saved myself a lot of money had I seen this video first, oh well, live and learn. You have a great way with your videos and I think a lot of You Tube presenters should take a look also and learn how to present a top class presentation. I can see how less is truly more. Keep up the great videos.
Loved this video...this is truly the basis of personal style! I so enjoy the inspiration that comes from the world around me, and then translating that to my closet. The thought process is part of the hunt! Thanks again, Linda
Hi Audrey, I'm from Cape Town, South Africa. Dressmaking is my hobby, so I'm sitting with a wardrobe full of years of experiments. I am working very hard on a capsule wardrobe ..... Thanks for all the practical advice! Love your videos ...
Hey Audrey love your videos. Can u plan an episode on how to introduce bras to preteens and which ones are good. It will be a big help. ❤️ Thank you and keep making the wonderful videos.
Hi Audrey. I have hesitated buying white for years because I think its very high maintenance. But after watching your videos, which are lovely by the way, I was so inspired that I finally went and bought those white shirts :) Please do comment on how you care for your whites? Do you machine wash whites separately? What about drying? Thank you so much.
You are so great as a fashionista but also I love that peaceful sensation that you spread. I really enjoy your videos and you knowledge is really helpful to me. Greetings fron Germany. 😘
Great question! I’d love to know how Audrey started her journey. Specifically, was she a slave to fashion while living in New York and then came to the conclusion that that wasn’t her? Did she start focusing more on her fashion choices when she moved and transitioned careers? Would love to get some insight! Her videos have really changed the way that I think about my wardrobe and accessories!
For me it's a light blue shirt, i have several in different shades, collars, materials, but light blue really makes my blue eyes shine and it flatters my skin tone.
Tshirt, jeans(long, Capri and above the knee), sweaters, Jean jacket, scarves and flats. I’m in a casual work setting so I tend to wear a T-shirt a couple times a week.
Hi I was born and raise in Ladson South Carolina and work downtown Charleston off of Broad Street for a law firm. I hope that you are enjoying Charleston!
Essentials for me are a soft, casual white tee; a pair of dark cropped pants that I can cuff for a casual look or un-cuff for a more formal look; ballet flats for a slip on option to dress up or down; a dressier sandal for summer; sweaters in every color for winter; and lots of earrings. Earrings are my go to accessory. I also played around with puffy vests last fall, and I am looking forward to exploring more styling options with them this coming Autumn.
Great video as usual , I like that you personalized the essentials, for once I like the idea of a white shirt I own one but never reach for it, Jeans are my absolute essential all year around, I also love scarves all year around, and sunglasses and hats would be my other accesories for winter and summer.
Audrey, thank you so much for your videos! I like your personal style and you seem to be a very nice person. All the outfits you present are minimalist but charming! As to the white shirts I like them on other girls but don't think they suit me. Especially really white and made of cotton. But I think of looking for some made of silk ( or other soft cloths) and the color like milk or something like that. Thank you for sharing your ideas!
Love this video. My staples: Different shades of gray and white short sleeve t-shirts. Gray and white tank tops. Dark blue jeans, white leather tennis shoes, black leather loafers.black and gray cardigans in various weights. And lots of scarves!!!! I wear minimal makeup but use lipstick as a color change. Reds, pinks, mauves... I do own a few other various tops and blouses in other colors, cropped pants for summer and black dress pants but my wardrobe is VERY minimal. I do have a few small pieces of jewelry, ( nothing large) Earrings and necklace, mostly in silver. My glasses I use as and accessory. I have 3 pair: tortoise shell, red, and a light turquoise and grayish pair.
Audrey: do you wash your silk blouses or dry clean them? The Dry Clean Only tag that accompanies so many silks keeps me from purchasing them. I LOATHE dry cleaning.
My SLO Life I love Dawn for so many things, including for washing dry cleanables. I figure that if they use Dawn to clean up little birds after oil spills, it should be safe for silk and wool.
You might want to try Dryell; it’s a home dry cleaning kit you can use to dry clean your own clothes yourself using your dryer. I use it often and it saves me money on professional dry cleaning.
My essentials are Brooks Brothers or Ralph Lauren button down shirts. Oxfords or spread collar depending on the occasion. I mentioned the designer because the cut is an essential part of what makes these one of my essentials. Also, right now riding boots in black, brown and saddle color. The ones I like are very equestrian in style. I also go for equestrian style belts and handbags. Also an essential are denim jeans of course as well as slim pants in black and a light khaki color. Scarves in wool& silk blends or cashmere. Ralph Lauren Collection makes my favorite in a large size all cashmere that are marvelous and in many colors. My favorite two are medium camel and a lighter khaki. Mostly my essentials are anything made by Ralph Lauren Collection -my favorite designer in the whole world. Long and well may you live Ralph Lauren!!!
Thank you so much for watching! I’d love to know what some of your essentials are xx ❤️😘
What kind/brand of white t shirt do you get? Also do you recommend thermal long sleeve for winter wear under the sweaters?

That exactly how my wardrobe used to be now it not perfect but it's way better
Dear Audrey, I enjoy your videos so much! No yelling, soothing relaxing voice, classy speech and GREAT contents! This is the best wadrobe classification I have seen so far. Cheers!

I am so glad I found your channel! At 53 you have me rebuilding my style/wardrobe and I'm loving it!!

I absolutely LOVE this way of dividing up wardrobe essentials - what a great idea Audrey! Thanks so much for sharing! Lovely video as always xx

Definitely!! A white shirt is a must, I also find a black turtleneck very essential and wearable.
Looking forward to your video of scarves. I have a lot scarves because i love buying them but i dont know how to wear them since i live in a tropical country. Thank you.

Such a comprehensive video. Love the concept of categories. Certainly breaks down ones wardrobe into manageable units. Again, thanks for sharing.
Thank you for your style insights, couldnt have gotten wear I am now without it
I have had the same dilemmas. Wondering how to overcome.
If you think that you look like an air stewardess then try a much larger scarf tired very loosely or just wrapped round and not tied. It will get you started on the way to loving scarves. Linda xx
linda o'regan I’ll have to give that a try! Thanks for the tip 👍
Classic denim jacket is one of my favorite pieces I reach for often.
This is also how I feel towards Audrey Coyne!
add to that.. her soothing voice.... relaxing.... lol
washington1884 so well put.
I agree, Justine Leconte and Audrey are simply the best, real ladies.
Your videos have really helped me clarify how I want to dress. (It's a process). I am so grateful to you, Audrey. Thanks!
You’re so sweet and fun to watch, you should do lifestyle videos! I would love to hear you’re point of view on food, beauty, self care, etc. Thanks for you’re generosity, you make me think about my wardrobe in a much more structured way :)
I find your way of presenting things and ideas very pleasent and love your style.
I just discovered your videos and I have enjoyed all the ones I have seen so far. You are well spoken and your videos are short and sweet and more importantly, to the point. Thank you for that.
Could you do a video on suits and getting the most wear out of them and what to look for when shopping for one?
Accessory
Thanks!
Camisoles/tank tops are key. In white, nude, or black, depending on how well you want to hide the undershirt.
I wear bralettes in darker colours like navy under white shirts and find that works really well..
Nude underwear in whatever style you prefer
I kept getting distracted from what you were saying, by how lovely and feminine the soft white shirt looked on you.
Hello from South Africa. I love your classic style.
Love your videos. Has really helped me build my capsule wardrobe!
Thank you Audrey for useful content and ideas! I am not good at wearing white shirts/blouses, and I am learning.
Audrey - Always delightful content and presented with such style and grace. As I am a “Senior Gal” even I can pull pointers from your content. Good content does that you know - applicable to all walks of life. Thank you again.
I love a good silk scarf as well! Cannot wait for that series... I'm so excited! 😁
The town you live and photograph your outfits in is very lovely!
Wow i never thought of essential items like this! Thank you. For me an essential are my jackets. I like changing them out by season.
❤️ Thank you and keep making the wonderful videos.
your voice is so soft it's asmr for me !
Hi Audrey. I have hesitated buying white for years because I think its very high maintenance. But after watching your videos, which are lovely by the way, I was so inspired that I finally went and bought those white shirts :) Please do comment on how you care for your whites? Do you machine wash whites separately? What about drying? Thank you so much.
She is so peaceful that i just want to watch no matter the topic
You are so great as a fashionista but also I love that peaceful sensation that you spread.
I really enjoy your videos and you knowledge is really helpful to me.
Greetings fron Germany. 😘
Have you done a video on how you discovered/developed your personal style?
Great question! I’d love to know how Audrey started her journey. Specifically, was she a slave to fashion while living in New York and then came to the conclusion that that wasn’t her? Did she start focusing more on her fashion choices when she moved and transitioned careers? Would love to get some insight! Her videos have really changed the way that I think about my wardrobe and accessories!
Dear Audrey I love your canal and your calm voice. Now I'm learning english language via your videos. Best regards from Poland :):)
My very basic wardrobe is a white shirt. Lots of white shirts with varying textures and collars. Thats about it.
I can watch this video over and over again! Wow, I loveeee your voice without any loud background music. :)
Scarves are my signature too. I bought myself a vintage Hermes scarf for my birthday and my friends immediately reacted with "that is so YOU".
My staples:
Different shades of gray and white short sleeve t-shirts.
Such great ideas. I love the idea of tailoring these techniques to my own wardrobe!
Dear Audrey, you really are an infreshment. Love your energy, and calming voice 😊 thank you for all the advices 💙
Audrey: do you wash your silk blouses or dry clean them? The Dry Clean Only tag that accompanies so many silks keeps me from purchasing them. I LOATHE dry cleaning.
And it also costs the bank!
She mentioned they could be hand washed with gentle soap and lay flat or hang to dry, I believe.
My SLO Life
I love Dawn for so many things, including for washing dry cleanables.
Loved this and we have very similar essentials. I live in Charlotte and have Charleston-envy every time I watch your vlogs. Love your style!
