I work and have a loft apartment very nearby. I smelled smoke in our warehouse almost 2 hours before the fire breakout., around 7:00 PM. A co-worker told me it was just a "bonfire" ...I let it go. Went home, which is just across the street and a couple doors down from the building that caught fire. You can see my building in the video. Why didn't I call the fire department?? I took pics of the blazing fire, saw an elderly man with no shirt walking toward an ambulance and I don't know why they didn't assist him...Inside, I took pics from my loft apt. and captured a peculiar firey demonic image on the rooftop - with horns and everything. Found out today that a dead body was found in the rubble.
DETROIT FD is definitely one of my fav's. Great to see DFD in action. Thanks for your efforts.

More Fountain Statue Firefighting. If the flames aren't dying down, put the water on some other material that you think might be burning. I mean, actually move your feet to the sides to change your Angle of Attack!

@@Bill5071 A thinker with a strong and responsible work ethic. Just because a person squirts water a lot, doesn't make them a real firefighter. It just means they showed up.
