I saw division 3 take command from the assistant deputy chief. Mind telling me what he was so anated about? I thought I heard him say something about he wants to hold off on the secondary serches not sure though.
Great job as always keep up the good work.
+Samantha Herat Your reply says " mind telling me ".The poster or somebody viewing this video is supposed to know the answer. The " THEMAJESTIRIUM1" video records this for our enjoyment. You can e-mail FDNY and ask division 3.
I WAS JUST wondering if he heard it or not?
Samantha Herat
It was the way you said it.Its as if he was supposed to know.Like when you son comes home from school and you say "mind telling me why your room is not cleaned up".

+Gábor Andrejszki ;o)
I really ,really love the packing up the hoses at the end of an incident.Very seldom on videos you see the team work from perhaps 10 different units where probably 5 personal could do it 30 or 40 all come together.Standing shoulder to shoulder.
+allcot IT IS VERY COOL INDEED! GLAD YOU ENJOY IT! THANKS SO MUCH MY FRIEND! ;o)
I don't understand why they are all holding the hose... is it to check the hose or just do all are doing something?
@@dawnm1292 That makes sense! Everyone helps out everyone... makes light the work, and all get to leave faster!
I can’t begin to imagine the frustration of the firefighters when traffic just isn’t moving.
YES, IT CAN BE BAD......
Good to watch a video with Sakowich in it. He was a great leader in the department.
YES INDEED! THANKS SO MUCH.....
No better FF's to beat down the red devil...NYFD! One funny sight I found at 38:00. How many FF's does it take to rack hose? Good line up!
THX.
Great Coverage!

+James Vaughan WELL, THAT WOULD BE A LOT MORE WORK! BUT, THANKS SO MUCH MY FRIEND JAMES! ;o)
+THEMAJESTIRIUM1 as it's fine no worries I'll keep watching.
+James Vaughan ;o)
It would help if all the onlookers would move off of the side walks. I would be afraid that something might fall from above. Great job to the fire fighters.
COOL!
I bet there was a few chosen words from the crews as they tried to get through lol
Super as usual. jj .

In the U.K. No way would you or any would be near the fire man or anywhere near the engines ,it would be cordoned off that didn't seem to happen in the US.I have been to New York many times & been to a Fire house Pride of Midtown.👍🇬🇧
OK.
Perhaps the most American thing I have ever seen. “We have it, so use it” 🙂
OK.
it almost seemed like a drill to me because of all the line tuggers kept looking at chiefs after doin somethin, the seemed "brand new" maybe not though. great video.
NO DRILL HERE! IT WAS A FIRE IN THE ELEVATOR SHAFT! AS FOR THE FIREFIGHTERS SOME WERE NEW BUT NOT MOST WHICH I KNOW PERSONALLY! THANKS SO MUCH MY FRIEND! ;o)
+THEMAJESTIRIUM1 no thank you! you shoot amazing footage and I'm extremely jealous of your life style!! I follow my local city fire dept here in Victoria BC Canada. I just watched some videos about the Grants Pass Rural Fire Department and its competition. I'm now gonna watch your awesome vid. It'll be refreshing to see guys who are well equipped and know what they're doing. Google worst fire department in the US and you'll find what I'm talkin about
OK!
OMG that was horrible! That privatization of Fire Rescue is a bad move!
I could never drive emergency apparatus in NYC. New Yorkers don't appear to GAF. It would drive me nuts.
OK.
we got to see Div 3 chief Corrado with his Helmut on, for about a min.
HAHAHA! THANKS SO MUCH.....
Holy crap he actually has one.
Man - Storing hose is worse than putting up stuff after coming home from a vacation.
HAHAHA! THX.....
This guy is a proper fire service voyer! 🚒
OK! THANKS! ;o)
After fight any fire they tired as hell have to clean up all the hoses and areas. When they work they work like crazy.
YES INDEED! THANKS! ;o)
What's the required response for a structure fire in NY. Where I live it's 4 engines (5 for a high-rise) 2 trucks, 1 rescue, 1 medic, 2 battalion Chiefs, 1 EMS supervisor, a FM, and a command aide.
+hldtrm WELL, FOR A ALL HANDS FIRE IT IS 4 ENGINES, 3 TRUCKS, 2 BATTALION, 1 SQUAD AND 1 RESCUE PLUS EMS... I AM NOT ENTIRELY SURE IF THIS IS COMPLETELY ACCURATE BUT FROM WHAT I HAVE SEEN THAT SEEMS TO BE IT! THANKS SO MUCH MY FRIEND! ;o)
+THEMAJESTIRIUM1 1 Deputy Chief and a RAC unit are also assigned to an All hands according to Dispatch Policy.
and could you explain what some of the trucks are for.. like what is rescue 1 for and i seen one video of a truck called Merv 1
WELL, YOU CAN GET THAT INFO ON THE INTERNET!

7:11 this guy has like the best damn job in the world! Balls of steel!

nice catch THEMAJESTIRIUM1
THANKS SO MUCH MY FRIEND! ;o)
Hello John. I see the fires and the firefighters extending hundreds of hoses, when picking them up how they do not to mix the hoses from one truck to another?
THEY ARE MARKED WITH THE COMPANY NUMBER.....
@@THEMAJESTIRIUM1 Ah, oki. In that way is easy. Thanks.

What ever happened to the fire lanes in Manhattan?
THEY ARE THERE! THX.
The firemen must be instructed NOT to HURRY or RUN. They take their time and keep their feet on the ground always moving forward. To rush justs gets them tired-out.
OK
👍👍always 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸!!!
THANKS SO MUCH.....
Good video...not to be dumb ....what is the difference between a Squad and and Engine?...they look the same..
THE SQUAD IS MORE LIKE A MINI RESCUE BUT CAN ALSO SERVE AS A ENGINE! THANKS SO MUCH MY FRIEND! ;o)
I have never seen so many hoses stretched at 1 time --- Debbie
YES, THEY HAD LOTS THERE.....THANKS SO MUCH.....
I still don't understand a 10-75 fire. I understand about 2nd alarm, 3rd alarm, 4th alarm etc., but the fires with two numbers separated by a hyphen I do'n't understand. Please explain. Thanks. Jerry
THAT IS THE 1ST ALARM ON FIRE CALLS......
Sadly, the quality of life in Manhattan will decline all the more with the departure of
Warren Wilhelm aka Shill deBlabio aka the Despicable Dope from Park Slope.
Wishing him misfortune in his quest to
continue the ruination of the Empire State that Junior Coomo began.
WELL, I HEAR YA JOSEPH! HE IS DONE I THINK! THANKS SO MUCH.....
I never knew rescue 1 had a federal siren
+David Anstine YES, THEY HAD A SUPER CHIEF SIREN BEFORE BUT IT GOT KILLED OFF IN A MVA THE RESCUE WAS INVOLVED IN! THANKS SO MUCH MY FRIEND DAIVD! ;o)
Thanks, What kind of mva?
+David Anstine A MVA IN A MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT! THAT KIND DAVID! HEHEHE! THANKS AGAIN SO MUCH MY FRIEND! ;o)
Who was the man in command of this incident?
I AM NOT SURE! THERE WAS SOME TUSSLING GOING ON AT THE COMMAND CENTER FROM WHAT I SAW! THANKS SO MUCH MY FRIEND KEN! ;o)
+THEMAJESTIRIUM1 Did some research and found out after making some calls! The Deputy Assistant Chief was in command, Assisted by Deputy Division Chief 3, (Who's name I couldn't figure out)
THEMAJESTIRIUM1
I believe that the Deputy Assistant Chief is the rank for Boro Commander.
What was with the probie looking guy with a blank shield and rubber boots
+Connecticut Outdoor AT WHAT POINT IN THE VIDEO? THANK! ;o)

;o)
and wow i can't believe after 9-11 traffic would get out of the way more but it seems like no one really cared the trucks where behind them.
THEY HAVE TRAFFIC HERE SINCE THE BEGINNING OF TIME.
THEMAJESTIRIUM1 yeah, but a lot of the traffic doesn't seem to move for the fire.
YES AND SOMETIMES THERE IS ""NO WAY"" OF MOVING OUT OF THE WAY WITH ALL THE TRAFFIC SADLY!
The public is the biggest obstacle there is in their operations, they walk right in front of them, through the scene and drivers think it fine to pull right in front of them geeze
OK.
And also the dodge van that was near the fire at Spain is a Fiat Ducato
+David Mares Marí COOL AND THANKS SO MUCH MY FRIEND DAVID! ;o)
Was that tower an industrial loft converted to apts????
IDK.....
Is that fire alarm horn sounding in the fire building or the adjacent structures?
its the BA alarm the firefighters carry !!!

At 3:18 of the video, a FDNY firefighter is seen wearing yellow toed rubber boots, I thought the fdny wear black
PROBABLY A PROBIE! THANKS SO MUCH! ;o)
That was a probie on field rotations during Probie School.
