You do a much better job of videography than the majority of fire photographers. In particular you don’t get so close to start with that the viewer only sees a bit of the equipment and firefighters. You provide each scene with an establishing shot. Then your not panning back and forth all the time. It’s great to see.

Thank you for subscribing. I have a friend who recalls the army blocking banks in the 67 riots down the street from here! Crazy!

This was a A&P store that my grandmother and Mother shopped at when i was a child. Sad to see it go. I grew up in this neighborhood. Thanks for sharing.

The sad part of all this is that you know none of these guys signed on for this. They didn't sign on to fight fire in abandoned buildings, they signed on to save homes and lives. Yet 2/3rds of the fires they fight are places like this: old, vacant, forgotten. Almost makes you question if the glory days are over for DFD.

what value add does holding a ceiling spike have when you are assisting with external hand lines?, really, they become a safety hazard. Why not sort your hoses out so one crew has an exposure instead of criss crossing all the time, safety again!

      "Ceiling spike"...?
Are you referring to a pike pole?
You should educate yourself on a subject before trying to criticize others
That way you might not make yourself look so foolish

WTF is a ceiling spike??? Please explain. If you're going to criticize know what the fuck you're talking about. You look and sound like an absolute ass clown making a comment and you're obviously nothing close to a trained firefighter calling a pike pole a ceiling spike. Move along now. Your expertise is not needed.

The fire contained the entire grocery store. Since the fire, the building has been demolished and the lot is vacant.

These are your heroes' folks! Just ask the question, "Where is the water going and what is it accomplishing?" "How much water does one spot need before it will stop burning?" This is called, "Fountain Statue Fire Playing!"

I see you are still spamming YT with your bitterness
How many rejection letters did you receive before becoming this bitter?
It must be sad going through life knowing you'll NEVER get to ride the big red engines to a fire
That hollow feeling in your tummy every time you hear a siren wailing in the distance must truly torment you
