Easiest way to increase your collagen AND nutrient counts is to return to cooking with bone-in meats. I started making casseroles with chicken drum sticks or beasts (bone-in!!) and the collagen and marrow nutrients cooks into everything. 3 months after I started this, all my nutrition counts improved on blood tests.

I love that idea! Very smart. I should find some good recipes because I’ve never made meat that way.

Drumsticks are my favorite meat food. I just boil it with onions, garlic, bell peppers and spices. Eat the chicken and veggies with any other thing. And use the broth for cooking other things. I’ve never made a chicken casserole, I'll try it.

I wonder about the role of fruits in that ageing process

@@keylanoslokj1806 the fruit we eat is not natural anymore, apart from all the pesticides they are available all year round which is not something normal in nature and they have been heavily modified to contain more sugars and less fiber that slows down the insulin spike, fruits are not healthy, they can be consumed in small amounts is much better than any dessert

Dr. Paul Mason stated that in people who are careful to control their carbs, the A1C test will often give a higher reading than what the long term blood glucose has been because in many cases the blood cells do not turn over as fast as normal. He instead recommends the HOMA IR.

Dr. Davis, what do you think about water/dry fasting and skin aging? Does fasting have some positive effects on skin?

Fasting has positive effect on everything, on your overall health, physical and mental.

I’ve seen people go on long term fasts, water fasting for 7 days or more and have cured their skin issues. Keep in mind, when you start eating again, it’s crucial to be mindful as to what you eat, or else the health/skin issues will reappear.

can we put the l rueteri culture yogurt we make using your method and put it on our face and hair (then rinse to increase good bacteria on the outer skin microbiome?
I also rinse with apple cider vinegar and water lightly mixed in shower or occasionally take baths with a few tablespoons added for skin acidity and healthy microbes.
what's your opinion on this please let me know. ty

When he says cut out sugars, what sugars to cut out other than the obvious? Like fresh fruit sugars? Is that ok? How about sugar free options? Like monk fruit sugar or stevia? Or sugar substitutes? Like date syrup? Honey? Are these to be cut out or are they ok?

It seems that any one is fine as long as the consume is low in order to keep glycated hemoglobin at less than 5% (04:39). As for me I need a tablespoon of honey in my yogurt every morning and an orange after lunch. Seems pretty low sugar consumption, as far as nowadays standard diet goes.

Yes, the image is "doctored" but in my opinion it is no filter on but the image is simply blurred. But why and why do it so clumsy?
