Lovely seeing New York Live. I have always knitted sweaters flat until recently. I agree the fit on yoked sweaters can be difficult. Thanks from Scotland 🏴
I’m so glad you enjoyed the video, Christine!
Thanks for sharing your trip to Vogue knitting in NYC. It looks like a lot of fun. Nothing helps you improve your craft like taking a class with a good teacher. I am amazed you got away with only yarn for one sweater. I have almost no self control when I visit the yarn store, so I have a huge stash. I would have needed a wheelbarrow for all the yarn I would buy. 😄 I also love The Wooly thistle, but I am already working on two colorwork projects, a Fair Isle kep and Scandinavian mittens! I am trying to do Finish it February and get all my wips done. I recently cleaned out my craft room and discovered old wips I forgot about. I found a whole blanket worth of granny squares I had forgotten about. 😳 I love vintage knitting patterns. A friend gave me a box of old knitting patterns when his mom passed away. I can't wait to see your finished mittens, its a beautiful pattern. I have those colors in my Jamieson and Smith stash.😄
I’m so glad you enjoyed the video, Carin! I knew the temptation would be strong, so I took a small hard shell suitcase with very little extra space for yarn. But, I did make notes of what looked particularly nice for later! Plus, Maryland Sheep and Wool is coming up very soon. I have to make room for that! Wishing you lots of luck and speedy stitches with all your WIPS.😀
