My goodness, woman, HOW??? I'm so impressed you knit that entire adorable sweater while packing! I had to move just across town and could do nothing else for months.
Marguerites is what a lot of countries call the humble daisy. So you weren't wrong calling it that. They both came out very cute, but the colour of the second is my favourite on you.
Just want to take a moment of appreciation for the stop motion work you do in a lot of your videos. It's a lot of work, very well done and it always makes me smile! 😊👏 Also, moving is so stressful! Happy it all went well! ❤ The blouses/sweaters are beautiful on you and you look positively radiant! 😍
I just want to take a moment to say how I always appreciate how you respect your partner's privacy! You've made reference to their office space at your old east coast place, we saw a hand petting Nutella, but other than that their presence is completely off-screen, and I really appreciate that! Good luck with settling into your new place and your new life on a different coast!
Both of your sweaters are lovely! And welcome to California! The vintage community here is both huge and welcoming! (I’m currently knitting a 1930s chevron pullover with typically dense instructions, including no schematics and no indication of what the gauge should be. 😜)
How I wish I could knit in the car but I get really bad travel sickness 😅Glad your move went smoothly and how nice to have those memories attached to the different tops!
My eternal crochet struggle is starting summer projects in the summer, and then finishing them in the fall, just as it gets too cold to wear them! And vice versa for cozy blankets and whatnot. One day I’ll figure it out, lmao
Welcome to California! Yes, moving is so hecking stressful, good to have some stress knitting on hand. How did Nutella get to Utah? Both sweaters look so cute!
Welcome to California! If you're actually going to be in the bay area, you should check out A Verb for Keeping Warm, an Oakland yarn shop that specializes in naturally dyed textiles, and Stonemountain and Daughter, which is my favorite fabric store for garment sewing. I hope you like it here!
Thank you for facilitating a new found appreciation for vintage knit patterns. I’ve always loved vintage garments, but have never considered that could knit them.💗💗
thank you for those bits of explanation regarding your chosen yarns! I live in a tropical country so we have mostly warm weather year-round. I've been wanting to try vintage knitting but choosing the yarn has been one of my problems. I'll definitely try local bamboo cotton mixes. congrats on the move! the sweaters were beautifully made 😊
I love both sweaters! Can't believe you were living 2.5 hours from me. I always thought you lived in the Midwest. Driving cross country must be exhausting but no better way to see the USA!
Congratulations on moving and for completing two sweaters WHILE moving! The final pieces are so pretty. Your journal segment reminded me that my family used to have that same shuttle spindle pen -- I wonder where it is nowadays :~)
Both are amazing, I love vintage knits. The Marguerite sweater is called that because that's what the flower is. It's a large 3-4 inch daisy type flower.
Linen yarn is a pain in the but to knit with 🤦🏻♀️🤣 Come to think of it, moving has to be one of the most stressful tasks, along with working with linen, cotton or any other plant based yarns! Wow, you reminded me that I have a bottle of vintage buttons my great grandmother passed to my grandmother then mother then me😊
It's interesting to see the patterns knitted in non-wool yarn, both look great. Nutella looked so happy in the truck with you. I'm knitting little white socks in mostly stocking stich, and yes I agree that it's relaxing to knit and not think too much.
thanks for your lovely videos they have been great knitting companions. I finally after months of watching finally got continental knitting, it just clicked, thank you for all your very in depth explainations.
Thank you for such a wonderful episode! It was so much fun watching you complete these come together. I just started vintage knitting and this is very inspirational ☺️
Nice trip video, the sweaters turned out lovely. Northern Calif isn't as cold as the east coast, but I must say, with the moisture in the air it can get you cold to the bone. It is a lovely state, I hope you enjoy yourselves.
Your craft is extraordinary!!! The fact that you can knit and not need to look at your work is amazing to me! I just want to learn how to knit socks! BTW, I currently live in Maine, though I am originally from California. I’ve lived in Maine for 17 years now. My favorite place to vacation in California is Fort Bragg and Mendocino. Hope you get the opportunity to explore the northern pacific coastline.
Thank you for your most enjoyable glimpses of your life. It is so good to look forward to a video with you being so authentic and creative as yourself. I pray that you will be very happy in your new home ❤
Beautiful job! Reminds me of our family's cross-country trip from NY to WA. Along the way, I knit a circular afghan. It was finished at the new place and was a great memorial of our trip.
Vintage sweaters are something I would like to do, but alas, I'm on the fluffy side. Both of your sweaters are stunning. Congrats on your successful move.
I’m from Michigan/ we wore wide long scarves.., Now living in So Cal / 1 hour north of LA., Know knit “skinny scarves” long cotton 2x2 13 inches wide/ long loop... great for chilly eves and mornings...🧶👍🏻 Also enjoy alpaca. And washable wool
I think that pattern was shown along with skiing outfits and I think it’s edelweiss an alpine flower that starts out a little greenish or whitish in the center and blooms a small yellow there’s five little round circles in the center of the flower PS you didn’t say where you’re moving out west so just a few hints we lived in the high desert north of LA And the temperature can drop from one extreme to another as much as 40 to 60° in a single day so don’t give away your sweaters that you think are for winter and in LA a lot of people wear a sweater in the morning and then tie it around their neck but they always start out in shorts it’s kind of like a tennis outfit reminds me of have fun and keep us posted
I’m supposed to be packing up to move this weekend and knew I was working today (Saturday) and now working part of Sunday. And I’m supposed to have the house packed by this upcoming Friday. But all I want to do is finish my Crescendo sweater. And ignore that only half of my house is packed. 😭😭 But you’re a braver lady than me! No way would I even attempt color work in a moving truck!! Both sweaters came out beautiful!! If you ever write a pattern update for it in the round that go up into plus sized let me know ASAP!! ❤️❤️
As another long torso lady, same. I cant stand things that are too short. So I tend to make everything longer than recommend as Im taller than adverage.

The pattern name is much fancier-sounding with "Marguerite" than Daisy in the title, isn't it?

The stop motion animation bit with the lace-like parts are so adorable! Your videos are always such a treat
I’m also moving (not quite 3000 miles) and can concur having straight stockinette to relax with for an hour at the end of the day is a relief
Both of your sweaters are lovely!
And welcome to California! The vintage community here is both huge and welcoming!
(I’m currently knitting a 1930s chevron pullover with typically dense instructions, including no schematics and no indication of what the gauge should be. 😜)
But all the liberal policies and laws have wrecked the whole state.
I love the knitting journal idea! Such a great way to memorialize your projects and what was happening while you were making them!
How I wish I could knit in the car but I get really bad travel sickness 😅Glad your move went smoothly and how nice to have those memories attached to the different tops!
The 2 knits turned out beautifully! Thanks for taking the time to make this video, although all the moving stress 💜
such beautiful buttons! I have a Bolero that i made that just needed one button and it was a glass button i dug up while gardening many years ago 🤣
Both sweaters are beautiful and look fabulous on you! I love the pleated shoulders on the daisy sweater.
Now the big question because I'm not caught up, where did your doggie go? Did you fly them out to Utah? And also, that Marguerite sweater is gorgeous!
My eternal crochet struggle is starting summer projects in the summer, and then finishing them in the fall, just as it gets too cold to wear them! And vice versa for cozy blankets and whatnot. One day I’ll figure it out, lmao
What helps me is to start something in the opposite season so it's finished by the time the season it's intended for arrives.

Aww I moved from San Francisco earlier this year. I miss it so much. You HAVE to check out The Royal Bee yarn shop in Pacifica!
there's a lot to love about this video but watching the button choices was my favorite!
Omg I missed your knitting videos!!
These garments fit you so perfetly! I wish I knew how to resize them this well. Amazing!
Lovely. I adore the lacey "undershirt." And the daisy design is the sweetest. 🌼
Thank you for facilitating a new found appreciation for vintage knit patterns. I’ve always loved vintage garments, but have never considered that could knit them.💗💗

Congrats on the move! I hope you enjoy exploring around your new home. There are several lovely yarn shops in that area and lots of good hiking trails
They are both so adorable and they look amazing on you. I love the journal idea. That is so good to see all that you make.
Fabulous, classy, so tiny your stitches!
Definitely something for me to strive for!🧶👍🏻
The move was so exciting! Loved seeing the progress. Also, I really love the journal idea - I might do that!
The daisy design is super cute! I hope you get a nice cozy knitting room/space in your new place ;)
I love the first one, all the style of layers but in only one layer! And it looks adorable on you too
Congratulations on moving and for completing two sweaters WHILE moving! The final pieces are so pretty. Your journal segment reminded me that my family used to have that same shuttle spindle pen -- I wonder where it is nowadays :~)
Wow!! Both of these sweaters are gorgeous! I hope that you settle into your new place quickly!
Both of the sweaters turned out super - also I love the idea of the knitting journal. Thank you for the inspiration!
Both have come out so well!! Glad the move went to plan too!
Both are amazing, I love vintage knits. The Marguerite sweater is called that because that's what the flower is. It's a large 3-4 inch daisy type flower.
Beautifully done. Bravo on the move and being so productive during it.

I love the pinny jumper and wish the pattern was in my size!
The colours of the Marguerite jumper are so lovely.
Welcome to the west coast! Those are both beautiful Sweaters! I love how you did the project Scrapbook at the end.
Both have a fabulous fit, very authentic looking.
Oh that fake vest is a dream. I love the lace.
Marguerite is a kind of daisy. very large, handsome plant it would be a perennial where you live. You are such a speedy knitter and magnificent work.
My favorite was the daisy sweater. You do beautiful work! 🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼👍😄
thanks for your lovely videos they have been great knitting companions. I finally after months of watching finally got continental knitting, it just clicked, thank you for all your very in depth explainations.
Love the puffy sleeves of the Daisy Sweater
Thank you for such a wonderful episode! It was so much fun watching you complete these come together. I just started vintage knitting and this is very inspirational ☺️
*watching these come together and them come together
That daisy sweater is amazing! Great job!
Love these two sweaters!!!! What a great job on both!
Love the 40s jumpers. Would love to see you knit more. 😍

Both sweaters are just so darling!
Love your dog beautiful soul you can see how happy the dog is with you both love all what you knit fab. love the video
Thanks!
Both are awesome. I gotta get over my intimidation of these tops.
I want to add that I really love the details on the "Daisy" sweater. Maybe I should make one if I can adapt it to plus size.
Extra hugs for Nutella! 🙏💖🐕 Both sweaters came out looking very sweet! Love the colours 😍 and the styling of your hair! 💗
That first jumper is ADORABLE! I think I’ll be knitting that one up in the near future. Thank you for the inspiration!
I am OBSESSED with the first one!
Congratulation for your passion,it is amazing what you have done!
Beautiful job! Reminds me of our family's cross-country trip from NY to WA. Along the way, I knit a circular afghan. It was finished at the new place and was a great memorial of our trip.
I love both of these! So beautiful.
As always, look and fit perfect!
Marguerite means daisy in French 😊
Vintage sweaters are something I would like to do, but alas, I'm on the fluffy side. Both of your sweaters are stunning. Congrats on your successful move.
It’s always a pleasure to watch what you do, thanks for sharing with us!
They're very very cute and they suit you so well! ❤
Beautiful.
You are a star!
The Marguerite one suddenly looks so contemporary!
These were incredibly lovely projects! Fun fact: marguerite is just French for daisy.

Beautiful sweaters. Now you're making me want to knit a vintage sweater, but I find the directions can be challenging. Good job!
Very special. Congrats!
They are fab! Looking forward to watching more of your videos.
Nutella is so loving. Lovely sweaters. Welcome to California
Beautiful sweaters! You did a wonderful job on both. Welcome to California! I’ve lived here all my life and I hope you’ll be as happy here as I have.
Welcome to SF!! Your sweaters look fantastic :)
So pretty. I didn’t know you had been in New England! I live in NH. Hope you are all settled in.
I’m supposed to be packing up to move this weekend and knew I was working today (Saturday) and now working part of Sunday. And I’m supposed to have the house packed by this upcoming Friday. But all I want to do is finish my Crescendo sweater. And ignore that only half of my house is packed. 😭😭

Okay that stop motion segment was so stinking cute ❤
They look awesome
That looks amazing - a great use of 'dead' time. But knitting while in a vehicle oh no no no...I feel queasy just thinking about it...
As another long torso lady, same. I cant stand things that are too short. So I tend to make everything longer than recommend as Im taller than adverage.
Lovely finish to your work, thank you.
Birdy
Beautiful! Both outfits are so cute! Thank you for sharing! ❤
So gorgeous
Every video I watch I get more amazed at what you do with all your talent.....is TV in the future?
Two beautiful pieces. Bravo darlin
Absolutely stunning sweaters.
I adore both sweaters so much! 😍
I also moved across the country this summer--and I knit NOTHING!!! Amazing job! They are so cute on you!
Wow! Love them both! These are lovely! Hope all is going well for you in Ca. Hugs to Nutella🥰 Sending best wishes from Down Under💖💕🌸🌺🌸🇦🇺😎
They are both adorable! I have always loved daisies so I'm especially drawn to the Marguerite one!
Aww these both turned out so cute!
When I first glanced at the thumbnail I didn't even realize that it was you on the left. You look so perfectly vintage in that sweater!
