What a fun episode. One of my favorite parts was hearing Kim talk about the nice woman who was sitting alone--and the fact that you ended up talking for hours. I think that warmed my heart so much because you are both so kind and enjoy people, yarn, and kitting so much.
Yes, although it didn't surprise me, that Kim would be the one to find someone to interact with :)
If I had gone alone, I wouldn't want to have had anyone other than Kim to interact with.. heheh she is so outgoing and thoughtful, it would be like running into a long lost friend, making me right at home to be comfortable and chat :)

No VKL for me this year but my favorite fiber festival is definitely my very first Rhinebeck. I was overwhelmed in the best of ways, bought a boatload of yarn, and met so many Ravelry friends in person. I don’t think I will ever forget that weekend.

I’ve been to the Loopine shop in Auckland - it’s a lovely little shop! I’m planning on going to VKL (from Sydney) in 2029 to celebrate my 70th B’day. Was last in NY for a WONDERFUL family holiday to celebrate my 50th but my husband has since died (you never know what is around the corner). Knitting is a fabulous companion. I really want to also make a Knit Collage cardigan but I need to go to NY to choose the gorgeous colours myself. Thanks Kim & Jonna (& all the other Podcasters I enjoy).

My favorite memory of VKL 2023 was my class, Exploring the Japanese Knitting Bible. Gayle Roehm is an excellent teacher. I am planning to make a cowl using one of the stitch designs.

I love this episode so much, of course I love them all lol. Absolutely obsessed with that Collage Cardigan with the stunning daisy yarn, wow can’t wait to see how Kim’s turns out, go wild Kim!!! Side note: Thank you Jonna for massaging with me when I was stuck in my Lotus Flower Beanie pattern, it’s done just gotta block it 😊. Gonna use the balloon hack cause it’s a little small in the body of the hat so hoping I can get a little more stretch but not stretching out the ribbing. So thank you so much for getting me unstuck and realizing my mistake!!! Love your channel so much ❤❤!

I took a finishing class with Keith Richards a couple years ago at my lys in Holland, Michigan. It was a wonderful class. I purchased some of his yarn and it was amazing to knit with.

I went to the first Vogue Knitting Live in NY. It was a wonderful experience, glad I went but as I get older I am happy to be in a place with less people. Loved listening to you experiences at VKL this year. Love, love the discussion and pictures of sweaters and other knits.

Kim, I liked the story about your grandson, Isaiah, when he heard his little friend that he knew you with pink hair. You are famous. I am making a beautiful shawl with garter stitch and eyelets. Loved watching your NY Vogue episode. This time, I was really inspired by Kim's love of driving in NY! I used to drive in NY in my twenties all the time (grew up in nearby Scarsdale). Also I have that Brioche hat in my cue and I'm now have that itch to cast on! Thank you again.

Great show! Going to VKL vicariously - love it! We have a small sheep & wool festival a couple towns away but I haven’t been able to attend yet because we have an animal rescue (central Minnesota) and I’m needed at home 24/7. Maybe someday I can go, anywhere! 😁 I did teach a quilting class at Houston Quilt Festival many, many years ago and that was very exciting. 🌻 Love your show. 💕✨
