Evening Ricky , great videos as always and wish you every success with the new chapter of RE. I remember you saying how much Swindon Audi was and you cheaper and provide a much better service, how's this for a main Audi dealer in Leeds for service. A6 factory recall for passages airbag, booked in cancelled day before (didn't have the parts) missed call a wk or so later, phoned them back not a clue. Got a call a wk or so later, parts are in, 8am booking, did recall and got car back, I was on holiday the next day so didn't drive it, but found a rattle for passages side after I got back on some roads, went over a speed bump and guess what dropped on to the flor mat, a regaining allow nut, phoned dealer they wanted me to drop everything and bring car down WAS going to charge for checking told them to do one, service lad phoned, said I can email pic of nut, 2 hours to send email. Pics sent called back yeah I've asked tech, HE admits to dropping a nut in dash board couldn't find it so just left I at and that s the nut you had falling out, wasn't happy and jus t said sorry and it's all safe with new nuts so that one isn't needed, what a joke can see why so many come to you for your level of service/ care and knowledge of what is needed. ( sorry a bit long winded but with how main dealers treat there customers you'll be needing a even bigger workshop very soon. Cheers for great content. Andy

Great video. Started doing car track days a couple of years ago, been doing bike TD's for 20 + years. Cars are soooo much more expensive. Me and my son are about 25k into what was a £650 Fiesta. I dread to think how much more it would cost to actually race 😂
Ahh the Toyota celica that had moveable trumpets on the air intakes that increased the intake diameter if I am not mistaken. It took the wrc ages to work out how they were doing it and when they found out they were stripped of all their wins. It is like the f1 cars that carried water to make the minimum weight and would release the water as they raced to lighten the car. I have also heard of running fuel in the roll cage as well. Lots of ingenious ways of breaking the rules. F1 is rife with it.
Noble build and a bit more bike stuff, maybe a weekends racing (whilst you are doing nothing 😂)....

I pride myself on providing a professional service and helping our older generation avoid plonkers who never helped them during COVID which is when I found these clients reaching out when every bastard was sitting on their arse claiming furlough as long as they could

Hi,great viewing as always, chuffed i was so close with the lambo centre caps price, audi crash clip, not a cheap fix.... there was a bad crash at 24hr Spa, porsche and ferrari, ferrari on fire, nasty. Keep on spannering, oh thats right its nearly all computers now, not judging, just old, the good old days, plugs points rotor arms, memories of by gone days.lol
Tiled floor is probably the most robust but you can still smash tiles. It may pay to just paint the floor and accept you will once a year refresh it.

A bit specific, but could you tell me if a carly would allow me to code back in an aftermarket reversing camera on a VW? The main dealer did an update which lost my camera (idiots!!) So have to recode it in as they just shrugged their shoulder. Loving the content, and keep up the good work, the rants are so on point

Question…….. Saw the 911 pull into the shop on the video. I have a 2010 997.2. had a scare with the PDK which turned out to be an ECU issue and the CAN system. anyhoo.. question i had was that you guys do a lot of work on the Audi DCT boxes and upgrading… what is the difference with the PDK / DCT boxes? and is there the same upgrades you would recommend for my box? with all the issues i had with the PDK i did a bunch of research on them and was blown away with the technology (at the time) and even today i am amazed how smooth and nice it is as a daily driver.

They changed the law regarding trailer licenses in 2022. If you passed your test before 2018 you can now apply to have a trailer license added

Ricky, how difficult / expensive will it be to move the dynamometer across to the new unit? Sorry if it's been asked before.
There are plenty of companies that ask a high price if they aren't keen on doing the job. You in the car industry should be well aware of the practice where garages won't outright deny a job, but quote so much that people either pay way too much or find another garage that will do it for less. 3500 GBP for moving ramps? They don't want the job. Half of that? They are eager or not experienced enough to figure out they should charge more. As long as you know which it is, you will be allright in figuring out who is going to be best for you.

Testarosa are not oil leakers, so there must be sth really wrong with that car. Unless it leaks from oil lines (there are 3 separate) - then it should be easy to fix (just get new ones from oil lines specialist - they are NLA from Ferrari and would cost sth like 1000 GBP each).

Carly on Volvo is about as useful as a four quid generic OBD reader with free software. Or in other words, it can read out generic EOBD engine stuff and reset engine DTCs, but nothing more. This makes Carly way too expensive for Volvo.

It doesn't cost £20-30K a year to race a saloon car in club racing unless you are paying someone to run your car. If your car is setup properly and you aren't after the last few tenths a set of medium/hard slicks can last a season. And yes I have won my class in races/championships, set lap records etc.
