You can pretty consistently beat the game with upped ballistas and passive upgrades, it's an achievement but it actually makes the game easier IMO. Just that you need to get a bit lucky with research or you're screwed on tier 4 waves.

When you have a spot that touches two houses, you get the econ boost from both with a single tower. You should prioritize those. They also pay for any tower, so a mortar would work as well.

you don't want to buy cards that power up a tower's weak point, cards that give single target towers DoTs (obelisk for example) or an ailment tower's damage (they do much more damage with the ailment itself than with the direct fire), it makes your draws worse for not many upsides. Especially early on where you get a small amount of draws. For the former case, you just use another tower than covers the weak point, for the latter you get the DoTs upgrade on the left instead

Honestly suprised by how little lag I saw in those later rounds when shit started hitting the fan... this game is great!! and I think it still has content for me, seeing as I have yet to unlock everything or beat 2/3 path mode.
eh I'm kinda 50\50 on it I think the gold they give needs to be doubled otherwise you are better off just placing towers in better spots the only exception is for multi lane runs since all those towers are more useful for actually defending.

NL once you hit 250-300 for a ballista it really becomes more economically viable to upgrade towers rather than place new ones

The target stuff should but a openable drop down, it’s too many options for just clicking through, would lead to smoother gameplay and quicker priority changing. Hope this game keeps improving, I like the vibe of it.
