Fisher Brad i havent forgotten you. My spot isntso hot this year. Got 2 last light n 3 tonight. I know exactly where this vid was done. Is that your regular casting rod or more like a med heavy? I plan pn setting up the river rods sat. Night just at the other end of that wall. But i think ill try jigging now as well. Ive never caught a walleye in the day.
cactus killer I have caught plenty jigging during the day this year when it’s normaly cloudy ! And if your spot does heat up let me know I’d love to do some filming there!

I am making some rod holders for the boardwalk in Port Huron. Can someone please tell me the diamete of the railings there? I am not local or I'd drive there and measure it. Please help. Thanks.
Amazing video man! I was just at st Clair river today, but in st clair not port huron. It was waaaay too windy. Does it die down eventually? Or is it just eay too early? Any tips for a new walleye angler would be great.
The walleye can be caught year round there! The bite is normaly always good but peak bite for jigging is around summer but i filmed this video in late March or early April I believe
@@thefisherbrad does the wind ever die down eventually? I'm from chesterfield and never get out that way to fish! When I casted my line in, current and wind took it and i dont even think it sunk go bottom haha
Cast up stream when you throw it. I would also get the weather channel app so you know how the wind will be before you go out it is very key on picky days to fish out there
Brings back memories of my youth. Great job. Very enjoying.
Glad you liked it!

Yes they work year round. Just not good when ice chunks are flowing down the river
I fish north channel and I never catch anything. I usually use a 4oz bottom bouncer with a floating harness on it. Any tips ?

What rod do you use? For jigging in the river.
A medium action 1 piece that’s around 8 foot. 8-17 lb is good

Wat up brad
Walleye can’t see blue
You don't really explain your rig or how to use it. Are you just dropping those on the bottom and bouncing them every few seconds?
You lift up on the jig when you feel the jig hit the bottom
Can’t hear you
