    Clayton, its appreciated when you are honest & say you went 2 days without catching/locating a single fish - It just shows us that you are just as normal as us watching!
    I fished Nipigon this last week & we couldn't find a fish if our life depended on it!!! They are all too busy spawning, plus... Lake Nipigon has ice still soooo LOL!

    I've waited and waited and waited. Glad to see you back. Don't know why its been awhile but you came through it and that is all that matters. Life throws all of us a few of those. Headed to Canada in 4 days for the opening in Ontario. The whole crew watches you and we will give you a toast during our first shore lunch!

    Love seeing videos from the Canadian prairies. I'm in Manitoba, and combing the riverbanks for walleye is one of my favourite hobbies.
    The only thing I hate about it is the snags. For those who are wondering, a lot of the time you can effectively free a snag by adjusting your angle to the object by as much as you can (try to get beside it or behind it if possible). This only really works if the snag is close to the shore, and with trees (like in this video) it's much less effective (I still try anyways because I'm stubborn and cheap). But if you have a jig caught behind a rock or something, it will work almost every time. Just my experience!

    Don't feel bad about getting skunked, you're not the only one. water levels still up about 5 feet. fish are probably back in the woods and flooded fields.

    Nice work and real good info on the jigs i will be purchasing a variety its mid summer i have caught and have cooked 10 different species of fish all from the bank of rivers and lakes so far the walleye have avoided my line i will be trying the jogs in the spring but i also have the rest of this season and into fall to fish, can walleye be caught from the bank in late august this time of year and into fall ?

    Hey Clayton, like watching your video's, hope your NOT eating those fish, take a look into what is coming out of that pipe, anything black can't be good for the environment, but you know what your doing?
    I wouldn't be eating any fish coming out of that water, reminds me of the water coming off of a landfill dump, GOOD LUCK!!!

    I find so much trash in so many fishing spots I go to it makes me sick. For cripes sake, get a little responsibility you idiots! Sorry, but it just p*sses me off. No excuse for it. Great video. Shore fisherman here 😁 Just not a boat guy, nothing against it. I can't sit for long and sure as heck can't afford a boat big enough to stand in. Then the launching, docking, storage, heck, I just like it simple plus need all the exercise I can get.

    Anyone can and will not catch fish. It's why we call it fishing and not catching.
