Nice video Adrian 👏really enjoyed it and good luck with new build. Fingers crossed your finished for winter 2021
Thanks Tom 👍
you should get a new build yourself tom
@@FirstnameLastname-qe3ry I agree
@@TomPembertonFarmLife hi Tom
Hi Adrian. Just wondering what your slatted tank cost that you installed last year, doing one very similar in spring. Thanks
100% right to shutter the walls not that much more expensive but 10 times a better job.
Just finished watching farmer Phil , then this poped up , mighty entertainment on a Sunday lads 👍👍
And Tom pemberton
Same ! And grassmen
Same
Really informative and enjoyable for a townie to watch and get a bit of understanding of a working farm (hard work 😂)👍Thanks
I’ve been a plant operator for nearly 25 years and know a good pilot when I see one. That man is tidy on her. Good luck with the build 👍👍
He’s well known for being top class, hence the reason he’s always booked out for months.
I love your show. watching you from Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia, Canada
Yer mans a Tidy operator on the digger 👌🏻 all the best with the new build Adrian 🙌🏻🤙🏻
Adrian lives 3 minutes over the road from me and I get the same digger man and by jayus I tell he can do a lot of work and leave a nice tidy job
That shop will be a great addition to the farm. You excavator operators did a beautiful job. Thanks for the video.
Serious tidy digger man 👌
Hey Adrian. Forget the front wall put in 2 sliding doors r 2 rollers you will get at whatever machine you want wit whatever door you want. Great job lad. He's a tasty machine operator.
You are pure gentleman ànd family 👪 from cavan man torrox Park nerja 🇪🇦🙏
Looking forward to seeing this done
We had a big sliding door on our workshop, eventually the rust etc got to it made it a mission to open, put in a roller door makes a huge difference
Did you ever oil or grease the rollers the door was hanging on?
@@jerryodriscoll3691 not often enough but the shear weight of the door caused a lot of strain too, rollers just a tidier job IMO
@@paulburke6699 how big was the door? Anything over 15ftx15ft imo is just too heavy, that's made with 2inch box iron for the strength, how it was mounted on the rollers on the bar going across would make a huge difference too
@@jerryodriscoll3691 she was 20x15 the bar from the roller was only on one side not supporting it evenly so it was pulling down the roller over time and there’s some flashing in front of it all so greasing was hit and miss really, cowboy job back in the day tbh
I think roller doors are far too expensive for what they are and when something goes wrong with them, they’re pricey to fix too. Stick with the sliding door.
Amazing what a good lad on a machine can do in a day! Looking forward to seeing the build next year.
Great to see a cavan man spending money, great video again keep it up.shed be a great job .
That's inch perfect digging, that fella will never be out of work. Looking forward to seeing the building going up over the next few months.
Well done Adrian. Great digging and finishing by track machine.
Very tidy job, fair play to the digger driver.
Look forward to seeing this shed go up! Smart digger that too!
Great video its a great job to have the tractors and machinery in it really keeps them right
Well done grate job solid walls good job. Grate to get your workshop up and running. Best of luck with shade 👍
Nice job can't wait for the rest of it
Great video Adrian the lad on the track machine is fair tidy 👍
cant wait for this build
Great vid. Can't wait to c up and coming vid with it
You should build a bigger shed over the old 1. That would be a seriously good job
Hello from Yorkton, Saskatchewan, Canada. Thanks for sharing your great video’s please keep them coming.
I was watching tom pemberton just there and now this. 😁happy happy
Also great video 👍
Lovely work. Nice project
Great video as always that a great idea to build a shed for your machinery stay safe and mind yourself and the family
Big fan adrian brilliant videos lad cant wait to see the finished project
Another great vlog A., looks a lot bigger than it did on Instagram....looking forward to go on this journey with you and the rest of your subscribers...
Good progress. Best of luck.🐄😷👍
Great video be a nice shed when finished. It's be good idea dig out back off old shed and extend to same size off new one. Class job .
Great job
Great video keep up the good work really enjoyed it
Good video adrian be a good job when its all done 👍
Finally a decent tractor in the yard that’s a proper colour 😂she has te be blue
I’m only messing I like the wee case to
I guessed you would be building a machinery/workshop. It'll be a great job when it's done
Nice digger work . Go with shattered wall in that case should be same cost as block on flat but way better.keep the vids come great to see a tide farmer's work.
Great job best luck
Just a great tidy up plus you’ll benefit from storage & workshop space, common sense use of a wasted corner and your parents get a great view so it’s a win win 👍
Love the videos love your accent. Spain
Great video again adrian. If you are thinking of doors go with roller doors and make them very wide go 12 foot doors. Great job very safe doors.you will need about 15 or 18 inches on top to roll up the door which you probably have when it's new.best of luck with it.you won't know yourself when it's up.you be sorry you didn't have it years ago.we got 3 roller doors and our intention was to get runner doors but there very little different in price so we got 3 roller doors.you might need a small door at side if just going in without opening roller door Everytime.
Happy days Adrian , great to see use goin from strength to strength , doin the Irish proud 😎👍
Class job and great video as always 🤙🏻
need something like this myself but the money is not in beef farming to spend at the minute.. You are a neat tidy farmer that takes pride in what he does
Also good video
Your right on the walls.
Very nice video👍
Take the old shed out of it to make a good big one
Nice job Adrian 👍 get some tarps to cover your gear for the moment sure
It good to see the cavan man at work don't think u are that far away from me am in madabawn
Great video nice 👍
Hi Adrian, i used a 75×30 ft shed as a workshop/ machinery store In the past and the main drawback is that i found myself constantly having to move some implements to get at the stuff that i needed. One of the other comments alluded to this and recommended 20 ft bays. I haven't got there yet but at some stage I'm going to build a long shed approx 25 ft deep to enable me to park machinery side by side. Love the content in your videos, keep up the good work !
I’m going to make a few rolling stands that I can push the machine around with ease. Thanks mate 👍
Great video Adrian, your like me I like my machinery under cover if possible, I hate to see it outside in the bad weather, I'm new to your channel and im really enjoying your videos, nice to see a smaller scale farmer doing a grand job, keep it up 👍
Looking forward to seeing it as I'm doing a 47x30 next spring, still not sure weather to put a roller door in the middle at the front or a sliding door
Yeah, concrete built is better built. Shutter or what I did on a shed we put up about 2 years ago was pretty cast wall panels. Fit into the web of your column & clamp in place. Then poured the floor to seal them in & makes it water tight. First time we went this way but has worked well. Price was good too. Alot less hassle too. Great vlogs Adrian, loving them, great advice & ideas. Went back to the start and am caught up now. Great farm, great vlogs.
Tidy bit of digger work, shuttering the way to go, nice to see the progress. Great video as always
Thanks Colm 👍
Hi Adrian. Love the videos. They have become a great feature to my Sunday morning. Great example of how things should be done on any farm. Just wondering if you do farm tours or walk around?
Were currently making a shed almost as big as that except its gonna be like 48ft by 22ft and is gonna be open fronted
Up Monaghan 💙
Make sure you have a good drainage in your yard.
Good video Adrian will have great comfort with the machinery inside. How did your parents like the new view, maybe you should consider a roller door, find the sliders a pure nuisance, impossible to keep them water tight..
My cousins is so excited for this
Me
Awsome video good 😌 luck with the build keep safe from COVID 19 🏴🏴😷😷👩🌾👩🌾🚜🚜😌😌👍keep sum mask with you
Any woodturners you know would love that monkey puzzle, because the branches come out in the one place it makes lovely bowls.
He has done a great job..how.neat is that
Hole
Shuttered wall the only way to go Adrian would recommend Martin Fox for doing it
"Agriculture is our wisest pursuit, because it will in the end contribute most to real wealth, good morals & happiness."
The farmer has to be an optimist or he wouldn't still be a farmer.
A good farmer is nothing more nor less than a handy man with a sense of humus.
Will be a fine shed when finished Adrain. Will you get a video of the shuttering would like to see it.
I am from the south east and my uncle does shuttering
theres a nice bonfire there with the wood
Put a load off 2 inche clean stone at back off new wall help water get away...
Put roler doors on it that are expensive but well worth it the electric ones are the best
Super stuff Adrian, I assume it’s an A type shed you’ll put up? Need to do a machinery shed myself next year and was going to go with a lean to type that you could just back in and out of
Nice one Adrian, this will be a nice addition, Gerry does some neat work, will you run it in to the old shed or keep it separate?
If the budget allows put a good wide rolling shutter door, i put sliding doors on all my sheds and they are only a nuisance
Wind and rain blowing in through them their only fit for cattle sheds
Very tasty man on digger great job 👍
Nice! Ours was too small before it was even finished. Like that yours will get afternoon sun for late projects. Any worry about your tools getting lifted since it's farther away from your house? Thanks for sharing this.
We have very good security in place, and with such a crowd of us on the one lane were fairly we’ll boxed in. Thanks Laura
I take it you digger man went to the same school of perfection as yourself. Like most jobs it is all about time and money and usually if you have one you don't have the other.
morning adrian would a concrete panel wall with a french drain around the outside not be cheaper for you pete north wales
Be a fine job when it's done have you taught of a wash pad with some drainage for washing the machines
Yes that would be very handy
Check your emails I wrote to u about your faded red paintwork
Is that Gerry Brady digging
Tidy job.
A good job goin to be done, a good idea, to shutter the walls, but put a wide roller door on the front, yer digger man Gerry ,knows what he's at , & has taste at his work, & he has a proper tractor, to move his new machine about, on the lowloader..😁
You should get farmer phil and Gerry to help you draw the dirt
What about concrete panel walls seem a good job and quick
Prestressed Wall panels are a great alternative .I have shed dug into a bank similar to Adrian's and was shuttered .adding on to it this year.I am going for 180mm wall panels set in H irons and back filled with draining stone and joints will be sealed and is 1/2 the cost of shuttering and can be removed in years to come if need be.
And then materials skyrocketed, built a 4 bay semi open shed and concreted my entire yard weeks before prices went up, waiting myself for materials to come back to s reasonable price to build a small workshop and small wash bay myself
Just finished watching farmer Phil's video, great timing adrian 👍 what new holland did he have pulling the low loader?
T6080 I think
@@bobgallaghar4716 definitely a T6000 series or a TSA series
A tsa wouldnt pull that digger
@@cillianh5841 ts135a would pull it no bother plus if it has the engine power management system it would be 170hp and they are torquey yokes anyway
Best of luck with the build. You’re dead right about trying to have a place to put in machinery or trailers or the likes. Things can’t be minded if they’re out in the elements.
Any news on the new build?
Good video
how many hectares do you have?
i have a giant monkey puzzler tree at home its a smashing yoke
Sure aren’t you lucky your digging into soil/gravel. Here in donegal where I’m am it’s bog or rock and nothing in between
Has the shed gone up yet Adrian??
Are you not tempted to knock the old building down and build larger new one?
No it’s a great shed and serves us well, beside my dad built it so it’s his Mark that we’ll protect.
Greetings from greece , how many acres do you farm?
You could make an L shape shed behind the shed that is already there
Yes that’s what I’m sort off planning 👌
Are you having a steel shed on top of the concrete walls ?
Yes that’s the plan
