Fantastic videos I am not a farmer but I have learned a lot from them I look forward to new ones as they come - I am 88 years old & they bring back my youth - thank yo ..
Another good video Adrian, show the calving video, people don't realise the work and difficulties that farmers face in there day to day life. I come from a farm and believe me I know what difficulties your face. Neighbours used to ring me years ago if they had a difficulties in calving heifers or cow's. I would help calf. Great videos keep them coming.
And then going home to the family and then editing all night !
Love the GoPro angle on the tank facing the tractor 😁 10:16
I thought I was the only person that greased the PTO cover bearing, You certainly look after your equipment well, my dad always said your daily checks keep a mechanic out of work, saves a fortune in parts and labour and most importantly the equipment works when you need it.
Your fathers a wise man. A few minutes can save a small fortune
A brew first thing is an essential component to a good start to any morning… Everything always looks squared away on the farm Adrian which is a credit to yourself however belies the demands on you at this time of year with calving. Stay safe 🐄 👍🏻
Can’t wait to see you put the wheels & tyres on your loader tractor Adrian, it’ll change the look of it dramatically.
Another great video seems like you’re daughter likes helping her dad it’s really nice to see kids out around the farm especially daughters definitely show calving video I’m from a farm and cows calving can be very hard and stressful for animals and farmer
Thats true about warming up the engine and when knocking off the engine if the tractor has done hard work ronan corby told me that about the diesel generator it makes sense when you think about it👍
Brilliant video as usual Adrian only one error about Nichole , lovely hat lovely scarf and LOVELY SMILE . I’m 81 years young and it makes my day. All the very best to you and yours. Keith
Machinery, yard , everything spotless, top class, not a spec of dust Inthe tractors
You are fortunate to have such a sweet assistant to keep you company and help you in your chores.
Love watching your videos, l grew up on a beef cattle farm in Ontario. Helped many times with calving. My dad was from Scotland originally, his father raised prize winning Clydesdale horses and sheep.
Absolutely brilliant never used a mixer we had a large outdoor lagoon that we used to tank and draw the solid stuff with 10 ton rotary spreader and a 360 loader. Have to say your way is cleaner. Keep the video coming they are brilliant.
Super stuff Adrian, great to see your helper straight out to lend a hand after school. Great girl. 👍
Boy, things have come a long way since I was a kid on a dairy farm. We had a barn with stanchions and the cow would do their business in the gutters behind them. We had a barn cleaner that would move the manure into the manure spreader that was hooked to a tractor. When the manure spreader was full we would take it to the fields and spread it. On a windy day, you knew you would get some cow s---t on you...................lol.
Times have changed for the better and it is amazing to watch your videos at 76 years of age. May God bless you and your wonderful family.
Bought a 9.6m slurryquip dribble bar using it the Last few days very happy with it so far.its chassis mounted and nice and close to tank so better balanced than being mounted on the back door
Nice idea with the nugent chained to the plate bolted to the ground. Keep up the mighty work. 👍
Love the different camera angles. Drone shots fab too. Modern farming !
Local dealer was pushing the Mastek dribble bar on me and I had a look at it on the back of a contractors tanker and I didn't like the way it was stuck on to the back door I feel overtime it will pull the back door out of place and you will be drawing air as you fill a load. I've a 2200 galavanised Rossmore tanker and I dont want to trade it I'm very happy with it so I decided to go for the Grasstec dribble bar and it's bolted to the axle, a much better job in my opinion as the axle is carrying the weight of the dribble bar. It has a Bomech Alrena macerator. They took my tanker away before Christmas and I should have it back this week. It's €14,000 and I've got the 60% grant aid
I’ll be doing a lot of homework b4 buying anything, great to get info like this 👍
Hi Adrian I too have the dribble bar from Grasstech . And happy with it if there was a problem the guys there very helpful.
I too near another slurry equipment manufacturer and find what grasstech offers is better spec.
Bomech alrena macators are proven and trusted , and long time making macators that are reliable.
Case wouldn’t do it…..my first thought was START…. 😂😂…… sorry couldn’t resist…. I’ll watch the video 😁👌. TEAM 🪀
Awful man Gerry 🤣
@@IFarmWeFarm 😂😂
Well done!👍☘️
I am still measuring in inches and weighing in Metric, so I converted your 1600 gallon to metric tons and was amazed to see it at 7.273 metric tons approx of course because that's manure and not water, and 9 tons on the new one that's a heavy beast.
I must say I do admire the care and maintenance you place onto any job you carry out. Greasing up the pto shaft. The shaft fully guarded when its working. I worked for a farmer like that in the Yorkshire Dales, UK. And that sort of care pays dividends both in prolonging and getting the best out of your gear and safety.
Ya I little bit of time on maintenance can go a long way. 👍thanks Mike
Great job. Hope the new bairn is keeping well. Stay safe 🏴
As usual Adrian, very good video and well edited, good drone work as well, see the young one with you again, it will no be much longer till your out of a driving job, the fact the she got in a tractor that's working slurry shows that she is as keen as mustered, looking forward to your calving video, good luck Adrian
Good stuff Adrian, tidy operation 👏. Nicole is a great help 👍.
Great video Adrian, a lot of farmers don't let out cattle when mixing slurry which I think is madness, and rush into shed to look and see how slurry is moving, go into shed as little as possible, slurry is v dangerous and sadly farmers have got caught. Stay safe, looking forward to calving video
You can't beat the horsepower it makes life much easier for you. Nice video and always good to see your copilot she will be doing it by herself soon 😀 👍.
Agree with the leaving it 5 minutes when starting up. With machinery I like to start it and leave it running whilst I have a walk round checking all the lights etc
Love the dogs
Hi Adrian
Love watching your channel. I'm not a farmer but my partner keeps telling me I should have been. I grow up in the country side. I can remember helping out with the Sugar beat hoeing probably around 1980 I was 9 years old. Great days when kids could roam without fear my mother would say make sure you home before it gets dark. Lovely memories.
Ywain in suffolk
these educational videos are getting pro quality thank you
Excellent video again Adrian they just keep getting better, it's great how you explain the workings of the farm and machinery good and bad, keep the videos coming there great, all of you stay safe and keep well 👍.
Near enough the first time I’m watching your videos from Western Australia.I’m an ex Irish farmer here for over 30 yrs happy as I think that you have done a fantastic job on your farm hard work but you have achieved a lot brilliant well presented videos as I am recovering from a knee replacement and going ok I have been binging a bit on these videos Yes I like Gerry and his love of the green machine Phil and his Massy brigade I watch some of the American channel The Millennial Farmer This Farm Wife and The ‘Harmless farmer, keep up the good work
Knee replacement is no fun, damaged mine badly years ago from a bull attack on the farm. Don’t think your ever an ex Irish farmer, been Irish and from a farming background will be in your blood forever 😉. Hope your doing well down under.
Thanks for tuning in Lad 👍
Just heard what you said about calving people need to know how hard it is for farmers they think it’s easy well your videos along with Tom pembertons show just hard you work let people see the rough with the smooth and how well you treat your animals keep up the good work.
Good man Adrian, and Nicole, the non-farming community don't always understand the hard work that goes into calving session, educated them, keep at her lad!
Adrian don't worry about what other people might think about the calving video, thats just how farming is and they just have to except it. That Massey has some power👍😉
Another fantastic video love to see how you calf cows on your farm Adrian. Keep up the great work 👍
Good job done there Adrian will look forward to your calving exploits.
That lovely hat and scarf needs to be sent over here to Scotland. Lol ... Joking
Helped neighbour last week at slurry he got in lads with umbilical system 80 thousands gallons in 4 hours over half mile of ground on dribble bar contractors were saying dribble bar on tanks be could be stopped in year have to be trailing shoe watch that one all mastek around me here lads love them
Another great video Adrian keep up the good work great drone footage 👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧👌👌🏴🏴
Brilliant video as always. Drone footage always adds to the videos. Congrats on reaching the 10 million views👌👍
Thanks, never realised that one 👌👍
Well fair plate to ya… good northern sound…. Hello National air waves…👏🏻👍🏻
Pricey item a dribble bar 😮 not that I have any clue.
Nicole and her hat makes an appearance 👍👍
Nice video. You are a good presenter. 👍👍
Keep up the good work Adrian, love seeing the videos. Best of luck with the calving and all that goes with it. Hope the new heifers are quiet in the parlour. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great video again Adrian. On the dribble bar you should look at an agquip one there different to other dribble bars as the macerator is horizontal instead of vertical. They also have a type of rotor similar to the mastec macerator not knives like a vogelslang . It's said to be alot better for thick slurry they also have solid pipe not lay flat going from the macerator to like a rubber boot on the end to leave it out on the ground more like a trailing shoe as it parts the grass slightly. Look to be very well built job .
A real credit to you and family how you operate
Very good video again Adrian that tank and tractor look great all well looked after like all your machinery
Adrian great setup must say can't wait till see the dribble bar been fitted kieran , co donegal
Brilliant video Adrian thank you for showing us everything it would be easy to show all the good but unfortunately in farming you have to throw the good with the bad and make the most of things 👍👍👍
Brilliant video. Loved the footage. you've got a farmer in the making there with your daughter, credit to you.
Another very enjoyable video Adrian and that's a great point running the tractor for a few minutes after starting. The same goes for any engine that's started eg a chainsaw.
Great job. Keep farming!
Great video of every day life on farming keep doing what you are very good at
Great to see the new tractor and everything working out so fine for you, seems to really be a help with efficiency.
Hopefully you'll find time to get a little rest, but I'm really looking forward to the calving video. UA-cam may get their panties in a bunch over the really-realness of farming, but it's educational, and important to show people all the things farmers are expected to be able to deal with, because of course you went to school to be a veterinarian/agriculture engineer/environmental scientist, right? Thought so. But you make it look so easy, lol! 😎
Hope you and your family are doing well Adrian
great camera and drone shots
Great stuff Adrian the 76 is a fine machine
Superb video Adrian, cant wait to see the vid next Sunday
Keep it up
The Abbey tanker and the Massey 7615 are a lovely combination!
Great video as always
Brilliant video
Great video Adrian them Masseys are looking well
Great video Adrian keep them coming
remember having redrock pump on an 885,mixed all day not a bother to her, just had to make sure she was topped up with oil before hand lol,had exhaust glowing manys a time 😂
€12 - €14k is a lot of money for a dribble bar. Excellent company and brilliant technology but so much money for a small to medium size farmer to justify. Brilliant video as always.
I really appreciate the video where you did the farm tour. It puts everything into perspective when you are moving around the farm. I have never seen a grease gun like you use. Can you explain it in a video some time? Thank you
Change that agitator! I was at the same thing taking on and off that PTO shaft when I wanted to go to the other end of the tank, or if I wanted to move to another tank. It broke my heart! So I changed it to a normal one. Best thing I ever did.
You can lift that agitator out and move to another tank without taking of the shaft, but I need to raise the arms on the 54 a little as it was just touching the ground with the slope that’s on out yards. Flat yard and you’d be flying. For the amount I’d be doing I think she’s great Niall
Another fine job with the video Adrian. I’d say go ahead and show the calving video - those of us from farming backgrounds will know what goes on and you won’t shock us. I think people need to be informed better about farming and you’re going about it the right way.
Was at work and heard about this on the radio, said I'd give it a watch and see what the crack is.. just subscribed 👍
Welcome a board Mate 👍
Looking forward to it 😁
I heard you on the radio, I subscribed!
Another excellent video Adrian.. love the different camera angles your using .. Hollywood could be your second calling 😀
Brilliant video as always lad
A great tidy setup👍 deadly viewing as always 👌
Masseys are looking well!
Good stuff Adrian, looking forward to calving video i managed to keep a calf alive for two days after a tough calving, but we lost d battle very disappointing.
It happens us all Gerard, some times there’s nothing ya can do unfortunately lad
We have 2 case 885, either would mix slurry all day long and not miss a beat... Super wee tractor...
Great video Adrian, can't beat the cup of Barry's first thing in the morning.Show the calving video, people need to see how nature works.
Great video Adrian. 👍🏻
Good video and nice camera angles!
Can’t wait for the next video.
Lots of great content Adrian 👌 I had a chuckle when your throttle nob came off 😄 that wouldn't happen in a 🚜🤭👍
Well done great video 👍
The brakes mite be ok Adrian, there probably commercial axle and brakes on your tanker and they do stop snappy enough when the tanker is empty
Adrian I cannot recommend a Slurryquip dribble bars enough. We bought one last year for our 2000 gallon redrock- a 9.6m folding bar. It actually folds down lower than the height of the tanker, has 10 mm bigger pipes than the mastek at 50mm, and has a lethal macerator all as standard.
Then again any bar will have a 6 month waiting list so wherever you go it'll take a while! I will have a video of our Slurryquip up in the spring once the ban lifts aswell. Great video Adrian loving the 54' the same as ours!
Love to see that working, we’re thinking 7.5 meter with our smaller paddocks.
Great video again. great to see the 5460 working well for ya
Great video Adrian as always 👍
I don't know how u get time to do all this, well done... Just started calving myself today, alot of long days ahead... 🙄😂
Batteries are fairly low at the minute 😴🥱
Fantastic video 👍
Massey and Tanker looks the dogs now adrian Fair play . cant wait to see the small masey with new shoes the small wheels are killing me 😂😂
Good man Adrian another great video👍
Great video Adrian 👌
You have definitely took great inspiration from Andrew Camarata. Great shots and was a joy to watch!
Andrews the king 👍
Damn mate , those magic fingers !
Great video Adrian
Great video adrian👍
We had zetor Crystal one time she agitated for 20 year in a 4 span bale tank. Only 80 hp not a bother on her
It’s my case was a little bit less then 80HP, the extra 10 years wouldn’t help either.
Good man adrian. Another smashing video. Hello from Sligo.
That massey 7615 is a serious looking machine Adrian. Great video . I wonder where did the case end up
