    Those anti backing bars are a great job, I know you have nice quiet cows so probably not an issue for you but be careful putting it on an old crush or up beside a welded spot on a tubular bar. If you have big heavy cattle pushing back on it it can collapse the tube and it won't slide forward and back. Happen us we had to replace the middle bar of the chrush with a heavier wall galvanised tubular bar.

    NIce work Adrian. One thing you should get for the loader is a soft ride cylinder. It takes a lot of the hardness out of the loader ride. That spot in the video near the end where you were dumping the straw and the whole cab / tractor was bouncing, it takes all that away. Much less stress on the loader, tractor & operator. I cant recommend one enough.

    Adrian: please be careful how you use your open hand as a hammer. There are tendons that can be injured in your palm. Love that little battery operated tool you use to tighten the nuts on the bolts.

    Don't mind them jd fellas🙃. Had to laugh when I saw the orange disc on the grinder. The farmers friend them discs. They last forever but god help you if you had a lot of heavy steel to cut. theres lads in the jfc factory for years and they wouldnt make them troughs as handy looking to make as you did, but they use a jig saw to cut the pipe up its handy as long as you follow the line, you should get little 8 ml bolts and put them on the ends high up at the sides not at the bottom . there a grand handy trough to be fair to them.

    Bit of a tip for you and fellas watching as I cant tell with the discs you use, if you put the disc on the grinder with the painted side or the side with writing on it facing into the grinder the discs last way longer that way (obviously with metal, plastic shouldn't be any bother to a disc)

    Them corrie pipe feeders are handy job have them myself but the only thing bout them is when meal goes down the holes and rain goes down in it then the smell is rotten and the feeders are light so they blow easy especially
    And also i seen video of gerry and john deere found it funny but of course everyone has there own opinion and your own tractors is always the best we have deutz tractor very happy with it but other people dont like it who cares as long as you like it 😂

    You will understand when you go to lift them after it rains out in the field

      We’ll never have them in the field as we’ve field feeders for that, you can easily fill the holes with expanding foam.

    Quick question, would you buy a 2wd tractor for yard scraping?
    Edit:You could put some chicken wire under the gate to stop the calfs rolling under the gate

    • @IFarmWeFarm
      @IFarmWeFarm  3 роки тому

      No I don’t need a tractor scrapper as my yards not designed for one, lots of slats. Never say no to another small tractor though
