"bon appetit"
"that's not inglish"
"it's Italian"
😂😭😭😭
I went on Google translate and it said the same thing
It's French. In Italian is buon appetito if I'm not mistaken.
you are right, bon appetit is in french, hahahaha
I LOST IT
Bon appetite is french😂😂😂😂😂
try and translate "sana sana, colita de rana"
Katherine Tapia
heal, heal, little frog tail
reminds me of:
"Heile, heile Gänschen" (heal, heal, gosling)! :
Heile, heile Gänschen,
das Kätzchen hat ein Schwänzchen,
Heile, heile Mäusespeck [alternatively: Mäusedreck]
morgen früh/ in hundert Jahr' ist alles weg.
Heal, heal gosling,
it will be alright soon,
kitten has a little tail,
it will be alright soon,
heal, heal, marshmallow / "mouse bacon" [alternatively: mouse poop],
tomorrow/ in a hundred years everything will be fine.
wait: so Ryan Gosling is Ryan Goosebaby?? 🤔😮
Katherine Tapia jajajaja “si no sanas hoy , sanarás mañana”
Mi mamá usa eso con mis primos!! 😂😂😂
Foo that’s kiss the frogs ass and you’ll feel better
@@daddyiminlovewithathug hahahaha i thought the same but she wrote colitA
Where I live no one says "te amo" We only say "te quiero". "Te amo" is too strong, it's weird. Lol
Yesssss you are right
I say both. They mean the same to me.
Where do you live?
Sean Figueroa, Noice Explanation Ma Dude! My Friend Sent Me A Similar Video And I’m Watching These Vids So I Can Understand Her Life Better xD
Yeah same.
My mom sometimes she'll say something and ill be like "What does that mean" and she'll say "I dont know"
Omg im Punjabi AND THAT HAPPENS ALLLL THE TIME lmfao
LazyGod xD, but your mom knows how or when to use the word, right? But she doesn't know the definition. That's me in English and Spanish.
Omg for real 😂
BON APETIT IS NOT FREAKING ITALIAN
Neko_ Kaiy yh it's French

I know... I kinda lost it at that point 😂.
I noticed that too😂😂
ikr lol
i immediately was like no no. That's french and buon appetito is italiano.
He said it like he was proud of his answer
+Cat Torres I was cringing so hard
Te quiero: I love you. Te Amo: I'm in love with you.
Teddy P. Gray nah te quiero is like before I love you kinda thing
i'm in love with you is estoy enamorado de ti, so it has it's own translation. It's more about the fact that there isn't a difference between the fraternal love and the romantic love in English
Me gustas. I think you're attractive. Me caes bien. I like you. Te quiero. I love you. (But not romantically! Friend, brother, sister, parents, and so on.) Te amo. I love you. (Romantic love.) Estoy enamorado de ti. I'm in love with you.
Teddy P. Gray sex

Girl "but that's not English"
"It's like bon appetit"
"But that's not English."
"Yeah that's Italian."
...
ITS FRENCH. C'MON. SERIOUSLY?!
The Neighbourhood Where Banks Phanicked! Yeah! that killed me dude, I'm a plurilingual speaker(Castillian as mother language, being studing french since 3 and english since 6 and now I'm 20) and I was like wtf is wrong with your mind dude I dont speak Italian and I know it's buon proveito and it doesnt sound even familiar to bon apetit.
J'étais honêtement surprise!😂😂
In italian it's Buon Appetito lol
YagoWD it's buon appetito so he actually said it right but without the o lol
Melanie Martinez
"Amar" is a very strong word. At least where I live I don't even use it with my parents that often because it feels weird, I tell them "te quiero", but "te amo" is like something I could only tell to someone that I really really love a lot. It's way too dramatic I would say 😂
Right ! lol I’m Salvadorian and me and my mom have a very very strong bond and I tell her “ te amo” everytime every day and the day I say te quiero it’s going to sound weird and awkward lol she’s going to be like “ you stopped loving me 😢”
Bro but that's the same in english.
Te amo = I love you
Te quiero = I like you
@@catsandalcohol99
"Te quiero" has a different connotation to "I like you". "I like you" means "me agradas" or "me gustas" while "te quiero" is deeper, is like a step before "te amo". It is not the same.
Hispanics know Te Quiero means :😂😫
“I like you a lot but I’m not gonna say I love you” 😌
It's like "Me cae bien", it doesn't mean how it literally translates. "Me cae bien" is more like gustar, you like somebody and you vibe well. But "te quiero" is the informal "I love you" that you say to friends and fam bc "te amo" is too intense & romantic.
In a broader sense, does anybody *really* know what it means?
@@YourMajesty143 Then you meet una Castellana who has been "shadowing" you for months without you knowing. And you get set up with her and on the first date and she talks about following you everywhere and you disregard that because.....that's silly, right? Then on the second date she is whispering "te amo...te amo...te amo...Which you understand is very formal and you consider it a formal flirt. Then you marry her and you realize...you've been bewitched! Now you understand what Juan meant when he talked about red flags but "Oye, ella queda bien el rojo!"
@@YourMajesty143me cae bien≈i get on well with him/her
I think "te quiero" and "te amo" are the hardest ones
Yeah they are
Te quiero is for a friend or a person who don't like but u care and te amo is for your family or bf or gf i'm from Argentina we use a lot those words
I agree as well, there's a big difference between them.
This actually got me in a significant amount of trouble with my SO when we first started dating.
+Johnno Woah that's interesting! I don't think I could ever use "te amo" with family because it sounds so strong and is almost exclusively used for significant others from all of my experiences. No one I know uses "te amo" with family lol but again, it's only what I've experienced
As someone that only speaks English I have no idea what I'm doing here
Hahahaha!!!! Omg! Legit the best comment of all!!!😂😂😂😂
Girl you learning about my culture, welcome take a seat and enjoy lol
lmao
Welcome to the Latino community. Don't get scared, we're all friendly unless you talk sh*t either about or culture or our families...or you're Trump.
JK, love that you learn!
+Ericka Alena Castillo +Ericka Alena I Castillo I love you just for the anti-Trump comment. Should say te queiro, haha... hope I used the right gender for that. And spelled it right.
I love how we have the equivalent to every one of these words and expressions in portuguese, except "te quiero"
Gadiel : bon apittiet
Curly : but that’s not English
Gadiel : your right that’s Italian
Que paso con empalagar? A VER, dime.
The emrald minecrat boy TEMboy Tienes razón, ¿será que esa tiene traducción?
No, no tiene.
Esta palabra es difícil de traducir haveces la única palabra que puedo usar para decirle a alguien que algo me empalaga es "overwhelm" pero no es la exacta definición.
Empalagoso si tiene traducción directa al inglés. La palabra es 'CLOY'
Reinaldo Mendez cloy es empalagar
Tocayo is another word that doesn't have translation
Person with the same name as you, usually someone younger 😊
What is tocayo? I don't think I've ever heard that word...
+DominicanQueen07 same lol
+DominicanQueen07 if your name was Mariana I would call you my tocaya. It's basically a person with the same name as you
don't you mean tacaño? meaning stingy
I can never translate "enchilar". Like "no comes mucho jalapeños que te vas a enchilar"
CalmingCarolASMR ain’t it like hmm i can’t translate it either pero i know what it means

Creole Natchitoches and also don’t ask for anything
alien house-foreign house.
Spanish = 2 words
English = 24 words
Yes 💯💯💯
Cómo se traduce Tiguere 😂😢
estorbas is hard to translate.
and so fucking necessary
no. It means "you're in the way" like trying to tell him/her to move
but implying also that he/she is annoying for being in the way
Antonio Mora your a pain in the ass, maybe?
Nah, the only word on english that gets near it its *obstacle* something ore someone that doesn't help and makes your goal, task, plan ore mission harder. But it doesn't transmit the same feeling like *your annoying for being a obstacle*
Throughout my adult life I have always wanted to learn Spanish, and because of this channel I have now actually started. It inspired me.
"Chale". I don't even how to explain the meaning of that word to my non-mexican friends
Chale-Yeah
Chale means like damn
Im spanish i learnt the meaning of this word by watching la rosa de guadalupe and como dice el dicho🤣🤣🤣it has no explanation is just CHALE u need to be mexican or be addicted to mexican culture like me to understand
It's like "Shoot", "No way", "Oh hell na" (or a light dismissal "Whatever", "Yea right")
it's like damn but probably technically closer to darn, which doesn't actually mean anything lol. damn, damned and to damn actually do mean something so it's not the best comparison
Todas las palabras y expresiones chilenas hasta son difíciles de traducir al español
Eso es verdad!
viva chileee jajaja

That thin line in English between te quiero y te amo ugh
I would translate ‘estrenar’ as ‘debut’....
- Un Argentino
I just translate it to something like "showing off"
A todo mundo le vale pija que seas argentino
Actually, it's: to premiere.
@@marinahuizar6067 yeah but theyre in the English dictionary. A lot of words are french, you cannot erase them
for example choir, queue, ballet, and lots more
ComradeAlph You're not actually showing off, you're just using something new for the first time. Theres no direct and accurate translation.
-Una puertorriqueña
Bon appétit c'est en français 🤣🤣
Oui!

Adlai Bandera I died.. I was like mon dieu pourqoi
The problem bon appetit is french, in Italian is Buon apetitto
Daniel Ciotoi appetito*
Because of this video, I was able to explain to my husband comadre y compadre. Since we baptized our niece, I wanted him to know what we are to my sister and brother in-law. I don't think there's a single word for that in English that's widely recognized. If I said co-parent, people would think of custody or something, so I just use the definition to tell people. Thank you Pero Like! This whole video helped him out with some things. :)
"That's not english"
"Yeah that's italian"
LMAO I LOVE THIS DUDE
I always had trouble translating "fulano de tal" into English
It's basically "so and so"
some random guy
It's "so and so".
En inglés es "John Doe"
Fulano in Colombia and I bet other places means random person. You'd say "El otro dia ese fulanito de tal me quitó la mujer" or something like that. Please correct me if I'm wrong!
Let's talk about "Sobremesa" I can't with that.
upon table? bwhahaa
+Stephanie Cano Hahahaah I refer when you take the dinner or lunch, then you drink "La Sobremesa" OMG I'm so cofesed.
+Valen BMX 55 confused*
Valen BMX 55 I know what you mean... I'm Mexican American but no idea how to English it
+Stephanie Cano Hahaha well. 😂😂 El Español es muy raro.
In the Philippines, there was also "comadre/compadre" during the Spanish colonization of the Philippines and these have the same or similar meaning as in Spanish (which are the godparents of your child or children), then these became "kumare/kumpare" as these words entered most of the languages of the Philippines and in the Filipino national language over the next centuries, then these further turned into just "mare/pare" or turned into slang words as "mars/pars".
Now, "kumare/kumpare", "mare/pare", or "mars/pars" can mean anyone who are socially or personally close with you, your friends, your colleagues, your coworkers, your acquaintances, and your other co-someone that you personally or socially know, but who are not any related to you by blood or who aren't a part oe member of your extended families and clans on both of your parents' sides. It doesn't need someone to be just related to or only the godparents of your child or children anymore.
"Te quiero" in Spain's Spanish is "I love you" because we don't use "Te amo"
I'm in love with the dominican girl
Hey, that's pretty good!
Anybody know her name???
QueenSpook shut the fuck up bitch
take a number and get in line ... EVERYONE is ... :-D
MIYIAUQ damn, it wasn't to be offensive. But okaaaaayyy.
What about "mas te vale"
Johnnier Portillo "YOU BETTER"
Johnnier Portillo oh you better
Johnnier Portillo best beleive
But you cannot say it alone. You need to put it in a sentence, unlike "Más te vale", which you can say just like that in spanish
Guamparrapo83 you can say that alone in english
A: "you ate all my chips!"
B: " haha, dont worry, I got you tomorrow"
A: " Oh, you better!"
Or
A: "girl, that outfit is bomb, you bout to rock the club"
B: "you best believe!"
“Don’t open the fridge” oh I open the fridge at everyone’s house
That's rude
And the sims like: U can't do that! Get out of my house!
Jajaja... I honestly believe that Olivia was only joking, okay.✌
Musica de marcoswit te buscare
Lol im Haitian and still scared to do that to this day
"Bon appétit"
"No, thats Italian" 😂😂😂😂
Empalagar señores empalagar esa vaina no se puede traducir
Jajaja no
Ana Gabriela Canahuate en ingles "Cloy"
Ana Gabriela Canahuate
Creo que es "sweet stick"
sick no stick
Ana Gabriela Canahuate Se Puede Decir.😃 Am Sick of Eating that Shit 😃
there are phrases I can't really translate. "Para que se te quite".
my mom says that to me all the time.
So it goes away??? 😂 I dunno
+Enmanuel Esteban lol that's not what it means I think for me this is a phrase I can't translate
Jackie B To me as well, but it is the closest translation I could think of. Lol. It's hard to translate our Hispanic slangs to english.
Para que se te quite? In what context? The most similar thing I can think of is "Se te van a quitar las ganas de reír" (my mother says that a lot lol)
In Portuguese we have "saudade or saudades" it doesn't have a translation in English. It's like missing someone or something or somewhere but it's deeper.
It’s so handy being Italian in these situations , you can understand all the words and grasp the meaning not even knowing the actual language lol
Another word is "friolento/friolenta". That would be someone who is always, ALWAYS cold.
I would say someone who EASILY gets cold rather than always.
I would've said easily too, if they stopped being cold at some point.
a chilly mortal?
And then there's it's polar opposite, the "caluroso/calurosa". That person who'd run around naked in public if they could because they always feel the weather is scorching hot.
depending on how you say it though it can also mean you get cold easy like soy muy friolenta means I get cold easily
madrino/madrina is godparents comadre/compadre is your homie
When a kid calls their godparents it's padrino/madrina. But when the parents call their child's godparents it's compadre/comadre.
Compadre/comadre are co-parents. Si un día llegan a faltar los padres, los padrinos se encargan de los hijos.
ur pal
ur home slice
ur homie
ur freünd
+ⅅ℮Ⱦ℮ℝℳⅈℕⱯȾⅈØℕ nice name and pic lol
=kimberly serna yes you are right it is padrino, lmbo... i never had one but any way. ive heard it used as what +vicky quesada said
2:45 "it's not like, I love you and want you in me" 😮
Sobremesa!! Siempre me ha parecido un ejemplo fantástico de nuestro idioma y cultura
friolento is another one. "yo soy un poco friolenta" no translation lol
Gaby V wouldn't friolento be chilly, or I'm prone feel cold often.
Cecilia Martinez exactly theres no word for it its a whole explination, but not a word like in spanish . i'd just say i get cold easily, chilly is another word for fresh yet slightly cooler air.
cold blooded
Michael Twiss cold blooded is a person who doesn't have feelings lol used more as an "idiom" aka an expression
Gaby V In Spain is "friolero/a"
How can you say barrio no mata barrio
meow Herrera gang dont kill gang brothers dont kill brothers
meow Herrera eso es facil ya que es una frase y no 1 sola palabra
That would be neighborhood.
No podrá ser: street dont kill street jajaja algo así! jajajaj o block dont kill block jajajaja
Zter Land Tf is wrong with you
"how do you say ajeno in english?" apparently its "alien"
Joary Ortiz ajeno is like foreign.. i think
It belongs to someone else?
Strange or stranger , like arjena
1. Showing off
2.when its not your house
3.hope you enjoy it
4.your childs god parents
5. I love you
I like that but I don’t think the first one it’s showing off, I think it’s more like something new, like "Ayer me compré una blusa y hoy ya la estoy estrenando" I don’t know
@Michelle Wolfe...
Needs more context: 1. Breaking in something new, or a *brand new release* 2. Ajena means Outsider or Foreign so "Casa Ajena" is simply *a Stranger's house* 3. I agree with you. This one should be kept simple 4. Not always since a *Madrina* and *Padrino* are godparents, comadres y copadres are more specifically *co-parents* (people who you closely share the responsibility of raising your child regardless if they're godparents or not, but usually they are) 5. "Te quiero" _literally_ means *I want you,* but _figuratively_ it's the *I love you* you say to friends or family -- it's like how "me cae bien" isn't literal, but it's a lighter form of gustar that means "I vibe with you" whereas querar is a more intense form of gustar, with more love (but not a romantic love since amar is too intense).
Since when is Bon Appetit Italian?? 😂😂
Omg....
C'est quoi cette insulte!
avoue ... insulte cest pas italien cest francais
that's what I thought. I didn't get that memo hmm
It's actually Italian
LATINOS LETS ALL COME TOGETHER AND MAKE A WORD FOR TOES IN SPANISH. I'm sick of saying fingers of the feet.
Jonathan Valdez lmaoo
Panquequez 🙌🙌 (I personally think this would be a great work for toes)
NO HAY QUE INVENTARLA, YA EXISTE, ES ORTEJO.
"Te Quiero" directly translates to "I want you"
tink about that next time you say that to your mami
Nope
Te quiero = te amo
@@lolessilvestre3023 Pero en inglés dicen I want you! Y literal es te quiero.
Yes *te quiero* _literally_ means "I want you", but _figuratively_ it's the "I love you" you say to friends or family -- whereas *te amo* which _literally_ means "I love you", it _figuratively_ means "I'm in love with you". When you want to tell someone you actually want them, you say *te deseo* which is _literally_ "I wish you" but _figuratively_ it means "I desire you". I know, I know es una idioma tan loco. Another one that we use that isn't literal is "me cae bien" (literally: you fall on me). It's a lighter form of gustar that means "I vibe with you" whereas querar like "te quiero" is a more intense form of gustar (to like) except with more love -- but not a romantic love like "te amo" since amar is too intense.
Man I love this channel😆
1:43 bon appetit, Italian? Seriously?
The Doctor Cata " buon apetito" is in italian..
Christina morel he said bon appetite pls learn how to READ
is french actually
David Sanz Fuertes she was saying the French version
David Sanz Fuertes oh my god, you don't say! i only said the italian version, i know 'bon apetit' is french, i'm not stupid. porco dio.
Im pretty sure that the equivalent, or at least literal translation, of "estrenar" is to "debut", which does have a French origin but is also recognized as an English word. When you first wear something, you "debut" it.
I'm wondering if they'd pull the "that's not English" card on "debut", just like bon apetite, but yeah, I was thinking the same word.
"bon appetite"
"that's not english"
"ye its italian"
I CRACKED
The first one is such a mood we also have a word for that and you never gotta prepare to ever translate it
Bon apetit is french not italian JAJAJAJAJAJA
Well..you know they failed those classes for sure. I took french in High School.
Inukag4ever I took german in high school😂
Carmina Malady are you laughing in Spanish or saying yes multiple times in German? 🤔
-Bon appetit
+But thats not english
-Yes thats italian

Buen provecho - we have something similar in Kurdish and Arabic but I always struggled to translate it to German (the culture and language I grew up with) or English. Now I know how to say that in Spanish, great!
I swear that compadre is a good friend
te quiero is the te amo for the friend zone 👌
You re right., 10 for you

Vlogs en Technicolor Nobody Cares About Your Mexican Slang. You Guys Fuck Up Things For All Of Us 😡 There's words That You Guys Use And The Rest Of Us (Normal Latino People) Have no Clue WTF Is That 😈
Farez Patricio do you even grammar?
Farez Patricio I know right!
+Farez Patricio Calm down... Every country has its own slang. If you don't care about it just ignore. Mexicans do care about our own slang. Try not to be so rude.
Vlogs en Technicolor lol
Long time ago they taught me that "Buen provecho" is "enjoy yourself" and te quiero vs. Te amo we used to differentiate it by adding *Do* to say te amo "I do love you"
"That's not English"
"Yeah, its Italian"
Not quite😂😂😂
"Like Bon appetite."
"That's not English."
Yeah that's *itALIAN*????¿¿?¿???
jeon jungcock That's french. Duh.
yo kpop stan ++ he meant buon appetito but didn't say the o lol
n e s s u h I was like bruh😂
A frase that's impossible to translate is like " que flojera" or like " me da mucha flojera"
Regina Guzman Rosso i say que ladilla A LOT (im venezuelan btw)
Regina Guzman Rosso
Groaning or saying it's too much work is an option
its me not really
Goldbrick or dragass.
Regina Guzman Rosso what does it means
Compadre is like saying godbrother. Padrino is godfather.
Mis palabras favoritas intraducibles al inglés son "madrugada" y "sobremesa." Aprendí algunos nuevos aquí. Por favor, mas videos! (Veo el segundo en la lista...que tal un numero tres?)
" Vaina " IS a impossible word to explain in English
"Vaina" is impossible to translate to spanish either (broma jaja)
ItzBernni (I'm venezuelan) depend of how you use it have like lots of meaning, among them are "thing"
ItzBernni "Vaina" would be equivalento to "stuff"
Examples:
Deja esa vaina ahí (leave that stuff over there)
Me dijo esa vaina (he told me that stuff)
vaina es regionalismo para "cosa" y eso si tiene traducción
well , "vaina" is the thing that we use to save a knife XD but we use it to say "thing" like : "deja esa vaina" is "let that thing" well , almost in my country we use it like that. Sorry for my bad english xdd
Estrenar = "To premiere" or to "show off" something
Buen provecho = "Bon Appetit!" (we have a shit load of French words and phrases that infiltrated itself into English, like "Repertoire, Rapport, Résumé, etc... )
that's cause the French invaded England in the middle ages......never mind the "white flag" french jokes!
Once time on my english class we star a conversation about "Tengo hambre" actually have an option on english but not a literal translation cause "I'm hungy" is more like "estoy hambriento", we use the entire class for words or sentence that have no literal translation
Theres a lot more....hasta= all the way like "hasta afuera" ( all the way out)
Falta as in "Faltan tres minutos para las cinco" ( 3 minutes till 5 o clock) it means 'need' or "lacking' but this is only a very vague translation
"Bon appétit" ITS FRENCH NOT ITALIAN😂
"Es que me da cosa" how can we translate that?😹😹😹
Oooh! This is a good one!
I'd say "It gives me a feeling" or "That gives off a bad vibe."
Isn't it "it gives me the creeps" ?
Carolina Mejías That too.
That also could mean that you are shy about something? I always use it in that context.
When something’s too sweet it is “empalagoso”
Another word that it's hard to translate is:
"Consuegra"
"The mother of my son’s girlfriend"😂😂 "My son’s mother in law"
Tambien "concuñado" , estas relaciones familiares no tienen palabras en inglés, pienso porque la cultura latina/española es más familiar...
1.
2.Stranger's house
3.Enjoy it
4.Friend,homie,dude,
5.I like you/I love you
Rabitita Te Amo is I Love You, but Te Quiero is not i like you, Te Quiero is the thing you feel when you get in love but is just the start of something, not that big as I Love You. Example, New girlfriend 2 weeks, you said Te Quiero because your feelings are coming out but you are still knowing each other.....3-6 month this is the person, this is the one and only Now you said Te Amo, I Love You. get it 🙃
Rabitita comadre/compadre: padrino/padrina
Rabitita I like you/me gustas
I love you/te amo
te quiero is an in between but there's no accurate translation for it
Cuando eres latina e igual te trollean xD
Eso pasa :D
bon appétit is french, not italian -.-
Nicole Saldivar Blazek i think he meant “buon appetito”
Li t'ap fè on blag mwen panse
Oh who said breaking them in . Sound most appropriate and correct good interpretation.
One really hard word for me to translate is “ajentada” -I’ve never been able to say it in English.
Isn't that like, "Stuck-up?"
Yo no se ni que significa en español!😂 where are you from cause where I’m from we don’t use that word?
To be it means you are pissed off.
"Regañar" is a really difficult one tbh
scold
Adrian Aguayo berate lmao
get in trouble
Adrian Aguayo scold
discipline?
They were just over complicating it. Most of the words were perfectly translatable
Give me a nick i know right? Its obvious they're latinos but grew up in USA. Those words were so easy to translate lol
Give me a nick Like... they are hard to translate 'cause there's no equivalent word for them. But are easy to explain.
Me enchile (don't know if i spelt it right) is one, i always think of it as "I spiced myself" which no one says lol
"That's not english"
"yeah that's italian" WHAT LOL
Estrenar: something you use and it's new.
Ajeno: something that is not yours....
Buen provecho: enjoy your food
Comadre/compadre: any person that you trust, like a really close friend that you know a long time ago. This is more use by old people.
Te quiero: is less than I love you. When you know someone from a short time ago.
Te amo: is a strong feeling, not exactly for a couple, because you can love friends or pets.
Some other difficult words to translate can be: No mames, Ya mero, Ahorita, Me chiveas, Me chocas.
Now say them in one word.
La loca de los gatos Um comarde or compadre is sister in law or brother in law so..
Potato :D no sister in law is cuñada and brother in law is cuñado
lmao its a curse word but "no mames" or "vete a la verga"
+ⅅ℮Ⱦ℮ℝℳⅈℕⱯȾⅈØℕ 😂😂😂😂😂😂
+Denisse Rios "Vete a la verga" for me personally, would be closest to saying in english something like "go to hell/go fuck yourself or go to shit". And "no mames" to me in english would be closest to saying" come on, don't fuck around" when you can't believe what someone says or does and you are really annoyed and irritated at them. In a very simple, basic way is like when you say "seriously?! 😒😒" all in a bad, annoyed mood.
Ay wuey (in mexico)
Ay coño (dominican republic they use it maybe other counties)
mamear: to suck, usually as in like a baby suckling a breast; so "don't suckle a breast"
ex. person one: *says something ridiculous and untrue that is obviously so"
person two: "no mames" [decoded: when you're like "seriously man? I know you're lying"]
Why is this phrase used in this manner? because the idea is only a child would by dumb/naïve enough to think they could fool you with that lie.
I think the clue is that the word Mom= Mamá has a very strong meaning to anyone listenting to that word in Spanish speakers... here in Mexico we kinda has always a deeper love for our moms, so the fact that "mamar" comes from the act of drinking milk out of the breast, and it's like a motherly thing, it could be use as a rude word or an imposing word to make a "wonder" feeling. Idk if I'm explaining myself but since it's a big word "No mames" could be used as an expression of wonder in a good or bad way, depends on the context with the emotion is been expressed. That's why the word is used in so many different terms, "tu mamaste" could be like "you over exagerated" or it could be more kinda like saying "that's bullshit"= "eso es una mamada". Or "don't fuck around"=No mames!. In a naughty way "mamar" could also refer to the action of sucking dick. And if you use it to describe someone attitude it could be like a guy who is "over himself" or "thinks he's more than others" a bigoted dude and that is called "mamon."It's hard to explain the differences
Gadiel bro he gets me every time saying bon Apetit is Italian omg cryin
Buen probecho, comadre/padre, te quiero are easily translated. I don't have a word off the top of my head because I'm buzzing watching these but there are some really tough ones that are impossible to translate.
Emparejar. As in, "no le pongas llave a la puerta, solo emparejala"
Yeesss!!!
I would probably just say, leave it somewhat open? lol
/// NO ESPERE VER A EUNHA POR ACA XD
"Emparejar" is "Ajar" in english
As in "don't close the door, leave it ajar"

Malorie Lorelai Aria soy de méxico
Estrenar literally means "breaking in" like when you break-in a new engine or put on a new shirt, yeah I can't find a literal english word for it. "Ajeno" means "foreign", that it doesn't belong to you.
Bill Gates “to break in (usage)” Tadah lol
It’s estrenar not estrellar
Estrenar also means to premiere, like a movie or theatre premiere.

Bill Gates you explained this so good I'm embarresed being LATINA porque no puedo explicar cómo tu
Do a video about Greek words that can’t be translated in English. Like μεράκι (meraki) it means something like having the passion to do something(not exactly but something like that)That would be real fun! Also it could be people saying Greek wolds. By the way we also have compadre and comathre in Greek, it’s κουμπάρος(koubaros) and κουμπαρά (koubara). Love from Greece keep going 🇬🇷😘
I say "No, pos wow." a lot and my friends always ask me what the translation is.
Like "pues"?
My baby mama usually says "No, pos(pues) sí" whenever our teenager starts to ramble about something we're disinterested in, and I take it as "here we go..."
I just laugh...

For me Comadre y compadre is pretty much your coparent (like coworker) in terms of parenting. They are also a part of the parenting for your child
