Chorus:
Oh, no I never got over those blues eyes
I see them every where
I miss those arms that held me
When all the love was there
I wonder if she's sorry
For leaving what we'd begun
There's someone for me somewhere
And I still miss someone
I still miss someone

I can't believe how good the quality of the video and audio is. And then of course, there's the indisputable quality of the music itself.
It was remastered. And I’m glad they did that. Hopefully there are more concerts waiting to be remastered.
I love this song ❤❤
I know my friend the music soud real good back then' not only that when country was real country by real writters and performer's
No ego no none sense. the love john has for Wiley. He is letting Wiley do his thing. He’s shaping the song to fit Wiley’s style on the spot. Much respect. Obviously Wiley Nelson loves to sing this song. And Johnny cash just let’s him have it.
They were so good. Just 4 friends having fun. We will never have that again.
1 of the greatest country music concerts ever. The highwaymen. WAYLON, WILLIE, JOHNNY, AND CHRIS. THAT CONCERT WILL NEVER BE DUPLICATED. THE BEST 👌 EVER.😊
There will never be a country super group like this again !!!!!!!!!!!
And i bet the tickets were very reasonably priced even for that time .
Imagine the songs they all had between themselves, it would be a huge number .
This was country music at its best
The Highwaymen will be the best band ever formed. No commercial benefits but built on pure friendship and talent.
Waylon, Johny RIP,
Kris and Willie still holding on.
agreed
@@stuchambo9528 hell yesh
These men truly loved one another! So sad that John and Waylon are gone.....but not forever! Thank You God for these recordings!!

They won't ever be gone...
You're never gone and dead until no one remembers your name. I just hope I can meet up with them when I am gone hopefully to heaven. God bless all the great singers and actors I so much enjoyed through this life.
I agree with you, absolutely beautiful men of true humble loving men
Yes, there's a wonderful collegiality, generosity and mutual respect on stage. Making music together rather than just for themselves: and it created magic.
At my door the leaves are falling
A cold wild wind will come
Sweethearts walk by together
And I still miss someone
I go out on a party
And look for a little fun
But I find a darkened corner
'Cause I still miss someone
Oh, no I never got over those blue eyes
I see them every where
I miss those arms that held me
When all the love was there
And I wonder if she's sorry
For leavin' what we'd begun
There's someone for me somewhere
And I still miss someone
👍💓
So beautiful are the words and when the music and voices of these fantastic artists are added. Beautiful Perfecttion
Brilliant song xxx
@@hhill4413 wish they made music like this today
When he says that "there is someone for me somewhere" he refers to another person and not the one with blue eyes that he mentions, right?
This kind of music just will never come around again. These men are legendary and nothing less than a miracle. Guardian Angels here to help us feel good? I think so. THE BEST CONCERT EVER!
I was so fortunate to watch The Four Great Legends performed live in Singapore in the 90's.
What's so great is that they were true friends you can see it in their eyes. Just pure talent no envy Just appreciated to each other
Simply The Beautiful USA .
Johnny has Such Power!! Willie is the troubadour, Kris the intellectual country star, Waylon is, well, WAYLON,! Smooth and sexy!!
These guys and the traveling wilburys are the 2 greatest "super groups"
Willie knows how to play the guitar.
Love his way to play
❤
Such a beautiful song written by a beautiful soul. We miss you Johnny.
Marty Stewart lived next door to Johnny Cash. He always referred to him as "John".
@@stephengaydos4346 Marty often called him J R.
What a wonderful combination of voices how talented God has blessed this wonderful singers it will remain for years to come God bless Johnny Cash Wille Kris .. So long
@@corneliadenninger5395 Yes, I have read somewhere that he was named with initials only, J. R. Cash, when he was baptised. It probably stood for John Ray Cash, after his father and grandfather, but he had always just went by J. R. by his friends and family, untill he started using Johnny as a sort of stage name.
Моё уважение
My Mum and Dad will never be fully gone from my life whilst this music forever plays xo
Johnny & Willie 💜 Just SO FANTASTIC TOGETHER 💜💥💥💥
The Highwaymen are the best singers ever they are the true legends
That is very true. I was born listening to Johnny Cash. All 4 of them are brilliant together
Yap 👍🏻
i agree
@@frankascher4206 agreed, they all sound great singing alone but better together
These four guys were, are and ever will be Amwrican treasures, Priceless indeed!!!
Real country music 👍
I love these people. The songs are incredibly playing with an excellent acoustic and quality.
one of the best johnny cash songs !
I love Willie's guitar solo in this song! His voice is nice but it's really the guitar that he makes sing in this. I can listen to that bit all day. Somehow he managed to bring out even more meaning and feeling with his picking.
All my love to you two wonderful guys/yo are still THE BEST ❤💜❤
Awesome music. We will never hear this standard again. God bless!!
Johnny’s smile at 2:57 is everything to me
one of the best concerts ever recorded
THE BEST
Almost every time i hear this i cry
Almost???
fantastic duet. Two totally different voices, but yet blended together. Wow, what talent.
One of my favorite songs sung beautifully by two music gods
My uncle in the other side of the world is to be buried tomorrow. I’m here to nurse my wound. Thank God for you, The Highwaymen. You are like a drug to me, and it always work.
I am so sorry for your loss
@@dianejarmon1990 Thank you.
Seeing my two favourite country men performing is nostalgic 😊
One man alive, the other at heaven, rip Johnny.
No 2 alive
Willie and kris
@@magnussoderstrom8307 I think he was just talking about Johnny and Willie, the the highwaymen as awhile, since they’re the only ones singing here.
💙
They will never be duplicated no matter what
I just love and admire Johnny Cash. He still gets that sparkle in his eyes. I also adore Kris. So yummy. You can see the joy in their faces when they sing together. Bless them both.
Voices, brotherhood, sincerity, the marvellous Trigger and a gorgeous classic. Bravo
Immortal, fantastic, there aren't enough words. Thank you for all the memories and great music. Australia 2021.
:( johnny
E stato un concerto memorabile...quattro leggende insieme su quel palco...😊😍😇😇😘😘🎶🎸🎸🎸🎸🎶💘💓💓💓💓
Can't get enough of these guys and their concerts bought out the best in them
so crazy how 2 very different voices are just so enjoyable when you hear them, willie and johnny its like perfect together
You see people my age in the modern era, there was once this beautiful thing called country music, and it was made possible by men like this who could (get this) play an instrument and actually sing! It’s so sad the degradation mainstream music has gone through in such a short period of time.
Dang straight brother
So let's make Country, COUNTRY again
@countrygirl countrymusiclover nothing's impossible ma'am

@@maijaliepa119 thank you ,which state of usa you live in?
Willie Nelson with a 90s mullet singing in harmony next to an aging Johnny Cash is one of the coolest things one could lay eyes upon.
El grupo una pasada y las canciones preciosas de estos 4 genios.españa 2021
An aging Johnny Cash? They were only a year apart, Cash the elder by only a year.
What a wonderful treat these guys left for us….this treasure of performers getting together for the tour. Wish I could have seen this historic concert live!! 🥰🥰
Beautiful lyrics performed as a masterpiece duet. Their voices blend so well.
I get goosebumps watching them it just flows so beautifully one of my favourite country bands ever
Lucky you are born in America where these legends are
Willie, his voice and his guitar Trigger are the stars of the concert
Thanks for your beautiful version of this great song, reminds of my Irish home in Louth Village ,now in Sydney Australia 53 years.
Legends. Never was a better voice than Rosanne Cash's on this song.
I was a stagehand back in the late 1980's early 1990's.
We did a 2-day job with Johnny and The Carter Family.
Miss Rosanne showed up between sets, we had security-detail, and Man.. She was the coolest star we ever encountered.
We all Love them, to this day.
This is 'high end' music. Wow.
Would have been epic if The Highwaymen would have toured with The Traveling Wilburys as a mega ultra tour of a lifetime.
I miss The Highwaymen but at least they left their music behind.
Absolutely cracking duet.
Yooo man, thats illegal xD!
4 of the greatest come together, their music will last for generations to come. sadly 2 are gone RIP Johnny and Waylon. Gone but never forgotten.
Old songs still so sweet... love it... it serenades the heart with joy...
How special it would have been to see these guys. Unforgettable
This song is very personal to me and always brings a tear for obvious reasons. Stevie Nicks did a beautiful remake. Willy knocks his lead chorus on trigger out of the park.
Me also John , miss someone from Viet Nam!
Just a Nam Vet
Tom
After I said I knew the girl on the motor bike on the Thomas Dean video it was erased from my pics & vids it truly hurt having her picture after all these years then taken off , it felt like I lost a love one , after I just lost 5 close cousins from covid ina few weeks! Such a - holes in this world!! I hope if she is still with us , I didn't cause her any trouble, something else to be sorry for.
Just a Nam Vet
The best versions are by Raoul Malo and Rosanne Cash. I was not fond of Stevie’s version.
I love how Johnny did a move and flipped his guitar to his back like a true gunslinger.
I've seen my Daddy do that a million times. .he played guitar just l8ke Johnny Cash....I love and miss you Daddy...hope you're playing with the angels...RIP Gary Brown
❤️ 💙
Fantastic. Still listening and enjoying. Australia 2021
Still listening too. Ireland 🇮🇪2021. Simply divine. Gerry Farry 🇮🇪
I agree the best!! All their songs are great!! Great legends. Two are sadly gone, two are still left. I love listening to these videos of their harmony and music. 🥰👏🐴🐎🌝
The Highwaymen. Just the greatest.
A timeless song and 4 legends in an incredible concert. The best!
Greatness in Entertaiment.....
Thanks for the memories
I'll never get over you . ❤
2 brothers in mind spirit and soul
Hard to tell which of the two is the better singer. They are both out of this world.
I'm not one to comment often . . . . . But I have been watching these Highwayman uploads and I am amazed. In this case something clearly passes between these two great artists. I watch and enjoy all genres . . . seeing and hearing this is a Privelidge.
Just Beautiful!!!!
Lovely voices from both of them. I love their voices so much as it really feel so relax to hear it. Thank you for sharing. God blessed you all.
No I never got over those brown eyes
One of the greatest concerts ever. Up there with some of the best rock n roll live recordings. I believe this is on the Smithsonian. If it isn’t. It should be. 1990 Nassau coliseum. Nyc.
yea---I'm not sure we'll ever see this much talent again---most music sounds the same now--classic country and people that write their own individual music is pretty much a thing of the past. I'm glad I lived when these artist lived. And to thank--we took it for granted.
Man I wish I'd seen them on this tour!
We will never hear such music again, The Highwaymen will live forever in their music, thank god !!?
LEGENDS! (I still miss someone.)💜
Sometimes I think Johnny is thinking of his brother Jack when singing this he looks and sounds so soulful
4 great LEGENDS AND 1 GREAT concert
Oh Willy proudly rockin’ a badass mullet
Willie and Johnny and Trigger don't get any better than that!!!
@Hello How are you doing
Podría escuchar este tema toda la vida, Nelson y Cash insuperables.
Best version of this song in my opinion!
They'll probably take that word out of it
At my door the leaves are falling
A cold wild wind will come
Sweethearts walk by together
And I still miss someone
I go out on a party
And look for a little fun
But I find a darkened corner
'Cause I still miss someone
Oh, no I never got over those blue eyes
I see them every where
I miss those arms that held me
When all the love was there
I wonder if she's sorry
For leavin' what we'd begun
There's someone for me somewhere
And I still miss someone
Pure bliss
Yeah...And people will never be the same either.
Willies mullet truly displays a glorious absence of sophistication, and that is a heartfelt compliment. Just about every other country artist missed the bat of fashion at an astonishingly accurate rate, but Willy didn’t miss it, oh no. He thumbed his nose at it, he showed fashion who’s boss!
One of my fav songs of all time
Johnny is like cmon guys up up up !! more power!
Beautiful song!!!
I miss them singing together!! 😭😭😭😭
Wunderschön gesungen. ❤❤❤❤❤
What an innocent time with deep feelings! I know that feel, Legends
Such wonderful music. Such talented musicians. It fills my heart and sooths my soul.
,,,,, I still miss someone 💔🦂💔
Great music
I still miss a lot of someones. Maybe you do too. Thanks John and Willie! 💖
Omg Johnny and Willie together
Johnny et willie resterons des légende ,,, beaucoup de plaisir à vous écouter
Two real legends
