This has got to be one of the coolest thing I've seen as I love gadgets like this. I ordered the V18 on Friday. I'm hoping it comes before Thankgiving, I want to see if anyone in my family notices the camera.
But haven't you seen the website? They even say "is the family education and living security, practical tools, essential field subjected to each customer's favor." That is SO quality.
The watches are supposed to include two types of buttons for the mic. One with a hole for normal operation, and the other for underwater/heavy dust conditions (no sound). The buttons are supposed to be tight at all times.
With regards to it being thick- a few years ago I had a watch that would connect to my phone via bluetooth and vibrate and show caller ID when I'd get a call, and it was stupidly thick, too. I did get a few comments about it.

Pretty neat watches for a pretty reasonable price for what you're getting. I've stopped wearing wrist watches though, working in food service wearing a watch just gets in the way, gets dirty and grimy, etc. I started wearing Dakota Watch Company carabiner clip watch affixed to my belt loop. It's pretty sweet, digital and analog display, backup compass (it's not too accurate though), thermometer, LED flashlight, and even a small sharpening strip for hooks or small blades.
You can drop and drag a file you create called 'time.txt' to set the time in this format: 2014-03-20 22:42:00 At least that is how all of the watch cam's I have seen operate.
The video quality is decent, and the audio seems to pick up well. It also seems to be reasonably durible. Finally, the price is very affordable. In short, TMart should thank you because you just made a sale for them that would not have been made otherwise. I have many uses for that.
This would actually be really helpful when recording police officers as they pull you over for any reason, be it gun related, traffic related, etc. because I know SOME (key word) cops are much different when they are aware they are being filmed/recorded. Keep in mind you should make sure you can legally record someone without them knowing in your state. For example in Colorado I can record anyone as long as I'm part of the conversation. But this could be used for your protection.
You can actually change the timestamp of the video by adding a little text file onto the internal memory when you have it attached to your PC via USB. You may wanna look it up elsewhere, like in the keychain 808 camera videos from the youtuber Techmoan. The date and time can be changed. :)
hey guys, you can get a 200 lumen torch on that site for £3.68, which im guessing is around 5 bucks or so, extremely cheap, doesn't come with batteries but the batteries are cheap on the site aswell. just ordered one with some batts. cheers Jeff!!
Actually decent looking/functioning watches for the price. A little too bulky looking for my liking. I have the victorinox officers mechanical and it's bigger than the average watch but not bulky.
To change the date time stamp you can save a single line text file on the phone with the date time you want, name of file does not matter as long as it is ".TXT". I believe format is YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS but this may not be correct. I received an instruction booklet with mine that was a terrible translation from (I assume) Chinese. Also the watch buttons can drop off or be knocked off. If the watch design has button guards that is a plus; I noticed the discontinued watch had this. I had one and the mic cover fell off and then the button to activate it came off too.

how good is the camera . lets just say i want to take a picture on a test so i can remember the questions . would the pictures come out clear where i can read everything on the picture . i would probably holding the camera like 8-12 inches away from the paper
I can't switch mine on. Whenever I plug the USB to the PC it detects and could see the files inside but once I pull it off, it does not switch on. I've already charged it for hours. I tried pressing the reset button (both buttons) then let go of bottom and hold the top. The LED turns blue then red 10 times and disappears. What does that mean?
imagine if they put a screen on the back so you could take the watch off and view your videos that way, the screen would still be hidden when you wear it, but with our technology at the moment it'd be bulky and/or expensive. give it 5 or 10 years and you'll have a slimline chromatic watch with 3D video recording and a 1/8inch thick iphone 8S glued to the back ;)
Ty Chris did exacly what u told.... did made a file "time.txt"and did write inside "2014.08.27 17:15:27" and afther disconecting making a record and reconecting the file txt whos gone and the time date whos right ..ty a lot did a lot of serch about this crapy seting with drivers and exe none did make anithing but this one did so cheers :)

I unplug it and light light stay (red and blue) till the battery run out. i try clicking the 2buttons from the side of the watch and nothing seem to happen and still stay on (bright red and blue). You had asked about what can be recorded without getting into trouble. it isn't so much the capturing of the audio and video that will get you into trouble but the playing and sharing of it that will get you into a court on the wrong side of the law. The US wire taping laws make recording audio without the proper legal precautions is a huge crime. You must also have announcements in set periods of time that disclose to both the party being recorded and to the listener. This usually is a beep to remind the party that they are being recorded. That is the only way the audio can be used in a courtroom and so on. Recording video is forbidden where your subject has the reasonable expectation of privacy like bathrooms and changing rooms also their home or motel room. However, if the subject is in a public place, in a public area for all to witness them, you may record away. just don't record their voices or conversations without their expressed permission. That is a felony and will get you in jail. Also if your subject is a famous person but not one who is rarely makes a public appearance, you may be sued for using their image without their expressed permission. IF ANYONE CAN ALREADY SEE IT IN PUBLIC, RECORD AWAY, JUST LEAVE THE MICROPHONE OFF TO BE SAFE. even if you are recording a crime being committed on video and or audio, you can go to jail.

Connect watch via USB to computer. 2. As usual it will enable a drive leter for your USB drive (memory card in the watch). 3. At the root of the drive create a file called "time.txt" no "quotes" (you can use notepad to create the file. 4. File contents should be in this format which is the date and time "2014.08.19 01:59:27", NOTE: Enter exactly as I posted, except remove "quotes", no space or EOL , at the end. 5. Disconnect watch USB, turn it off and power back on, record a video and then you'll notice the date/time will be correct. Cheers bro'. :-)

If you want a good mp3 player that's also a watch, get the ipod nano with the watchband. I've had it for more than a year now, and it's fantastic.
That's not bad. The audio is surprisingly good especially with the mic down at your sides like that. And Shook Resist is a nice bonus!

the extra cover you get is for the audio hole in case you use it underwater (no audio underwater). that's why the audio piece can come off :)

Just about all cameras pick up infared. Try it with your remote(IR led) and the camera your using now.

Connect your watch to the computer, then open the drive associated with the watch, it's right there.
Software to set camera time or instructions howto should be on the driver cd.
how does the knock off markings effect anything? DO you know anyone who actualy looks at your watch in detail and woudl even notice?
