    Great project, the best I've seen so far, and so simple. I'll certainly be doing one similar for myself. Thank you.

    This is such an elegant design! Thank you for posting it. I have a sliding miter saw that's just always in the way, so making it into a cabinet that can double as a work surface or outfeed table for a table saw is going to be perfect.

      Thank you so much brother! 💪 I really enjoy working with it. Especially not having a lot of space to work with, this is game changer!
      Are you going to build one too? If so what would you do different?

    • @tomsmith3045
      @tomsmith3045 10 місяців тому +1

      @@BarRookie Yep, I'm going to build one. The only thing I'm thinking about changing is putting adjustable feet on it, and maybe retractable casters so that I can fine adjust it to be an outfeed table for the table saw. Then I can also use the table saw as support for long board to cut with the miter saw...kind of a win win.

    Do you have plans to possible extend the table some to add a shelf for a table saw?

    Simple and very practical, well done. Are you still happy with the design or are there things that you would do differently now that you have used it? Groeten uit Nederland 👍

      @BarRookie  Рік тому

      Actually, not really! It's so much fun working with it! I did add some things along the way. Like an outlet and some storage options. I might make a video about it if you like! 😊

      @@BarRookie I would be interested to see that for sure. I ordered a machine and now I am looking for inspiration and ideas. I am also thinking about the idea of incorporating a small table saw or a router, or both, if I can find a way to make it work with the space that I have. So therefore I like the fold-able miter saw design. It would make the table also usable as a table saw or a router table.

    That looks ace, after looking at a few others in the tube, this is most probably the one I go for.
    One thing, do you have any plans you can post in the info?
    Thanks mate 👍🏻

    I'm mounting a DWS779. What's the model # of your saw so I can check the dimensional differences. Thanks!

    You drop that once when you are folding it down and it's going to destroy your saw.

    • @BarRookie
      @BarRookie  Рік тому +1

      Haha true! Drop your saw off the table once and you got the same!
      Taking care of your tools is always a must! It is a delight to work with this bench I must say!
