Watching this made me realize that the story line isn’t that long and the only thing that makes the game longer is all the trainer battles, catching the Pokémon’s you need, and grinding to level them up
Sad I'm seeing this 2 years later while AGDQ online is currently live. THe whole video I just wanna see the Punchout donation goal achieved to see it lmao. This run was so sick to watch and thank you for all the amazing information!
I really enjoyed agdq and pokemon speedruns because there is so much thought progress behind it, most of it which we can not even see. Also, because the community seems so great, fun and relaxed. Sadly, i started reading comments. 1. Big parts of this game can not be manipulated or not worth manipulating. Which means, its sometimes based on luck. To all the ppl saying it was a bad run, could have been faster or was bad executed. Gunnermaniac is insane when it comes to adapting to the situations. I watched a lot of runs from him and when something didnt go as planned, he comes up with crazy back up plans u only know out of genius and expirience. So to all the haters: He hold the world record, he did an amazing job even though of bad luck, and maybe he had a few missteps, but he was playing for a lot of ppl in a room while beeing watched and mistakes do happen to the best of us, thats mostly how we improve. 2. I dont know if the announcer lady is getting paid or not, but let her be. I thought she did her best reading those comments in a fun and euphoric way, and she didnt stop doing stuff cause it was emberassing for the good cause. It happens that sometimes we blank out. Even though if this was a world record run it would be pretty annoying that she didnt have the name for the pokemon, no reason to hate for one mistake. Also, it wasnt. All good here. 3. For the ppl saying that the couch is boring or that Shen is sweaty. They are mostly introverted, so its quite hard for them to be open talkative in such an enviroment. And if u cant enjoy it, dont hate. Also, Shen is a great and fun guy, and if u watched other runs where he sits on the couch or he runs, he is awesome, funny and imformative. I think if you sat there with cameras all over ur face and start sweating hard, you would also feel really uncomfortable and not be able to speak to much. I think he did best in the situation and tried. Sometimes u sweat when ur nervous. I also saw it, but i just felt bad to worse to him, imagining how most of us would feel in this situation. NO REASON TO HATE.

Thank you for doing what AGDQ's YT would never do: starting your video at the start of the run
@Tony N AGDQ's "YT"
That is like the most autistic response I have ever seen kek
I couldn't watch it live due to timezones but I am still loving this, the comments also make it very enjoyable! Thank you from France
Awesome game knowledge and chemistry from the team on this one.
there is something extremely satisfying about watching someone infinitely better than me play this game
Watching this made me realize that the story line isn’t that long and the only thing that makes the game longer is all the trainer battles, catching the Pokémon’s you need, and grinding to level them up
Plus Battle Frontier. Where all trainers prove their skills in battle.
So is fire red
Are u New to speedruns? Wait til you play a souls and see the speedrun
Congrats on getting to agdq mate. Love your sapphire runs
i love the announcers laugh, she seems so comfortable around this crew
Snippet is she cute by any chance if u know ? She sounds cute and pretty
Alonso's Passion bro??
Matte Cache - He's asking a legitimately good question.
The first pokemon game I ever played besides stadium and snap! So nostalgic
The guy on the left on the couch is getting completely soaked
He probably saw you and got excited
NO REASON TO HATE.
also, he doesnt normally sweats likes this, and even if, then thats just how it is. not his fault. doesnt change him as a person ether.
BIG FACTS DUDE.
insulting someone is just a presentive of inner suffer and hate. dont make yourself ugly
@@ninnghhizziddha Do you have any sources for said statement?
What a nerd
Old games: Alright time for the first gym battle!
New games: Hold on we're only halfway through the tutorial. Now, use this button to walk forward...
Before Gen 1's first gym, the main character is forced to walk back and forth between the first and second town, and endure a catching tutorial.
@@malcovich_games took me nearly two hours to find route 1 and another hour to just get through it. Wish Blue was there to show me the way at every turn T_T
Cat and Monkey Gaming nostalgia blindness
Cat and Monkey Gaming that whole sequence takes about 5 minutes and I can guarantee you all the beginning dialogue in SwSh is much longer than that
That narrator’s pronunciation of Kyogre is the exact same as Weedletwinneedles’ joke pronunciation of it. I wonder if she’s trolling.
Sounds like “Kogre”
Guarantee she isn’t
jo-tar-o
I love how Brendan is giving advice on how to win the game while the crowd in the background is cheering.
Woah, the Move with Poison after Badge 4 was so Awesome!!
