I don't blame Thomas for trying to pay off the reporter, exposing Martha like that really has no relevancy other than to bring back old wounds. Going to Falcone was obviously a mistake though.
Honestly, i dont blame thomas for trying to pay off the reporter All he would have done was open old wounds and unraveling Marth in the process (people with mental health conditions dont need their entire life woes and troubles out there for the whole world to see and judge them for)

Do you remember Justice League: Flashpoint Paradox and where in an alternate reality, Martha went crazy and became the Joker? The fact that Martha went to Arkham Asylum because of her family suicide makes a lot of sense "IF" Bruce Wayne died instead of his parents.
The reference put into this one video is insane. Edward Elliot? Thomas Elliot’s son, aka the villain Hush. Hush money. The Elliots were friends with the Waynes. What’s their relationship in this story? If we get a sequel to the Batman, I don’t think the Joker will be the only villain of the story. I think we’ll be getting a vengeful Hush while Bruce and Batman simultaneously struggle with the double life, his improved self as Gotham’s vigilante and the aftermath of the Riddler’s ‘crusade’ to ‘unmask’ Gotham.
It’s possible they weren’t friends. It’s possible Edward Elliot was a lowlife reporter Sal Maroni hired to dig dirt on Thomas. Edward may have been having a rough time at home with his wife and son. It’s possible that Edward left a contingency in cause he dies because what he discovered could be enough to silence him. His son finds this info as he gets older
This is a great foreshadowing for the sequel, where Hush is going to be the main antagonist. And Riddler is right all alone, "I hope you're listening, Bruce Wayne, this is your leagcy tooo. And Gotham need you to answer, for the sins of your father!"
After watching Joker, I believe Riddler, Maybe Thomas and Martha Wayne wasn't a good person we though they were, Does not help joker when He need them, Does not help the poor, Hide his terrible sin, Even in alternate universe if Bruce and Martha die instead of Thomas, Thomas become batman who is a murder brutality killer, I having a feeling, Thomas Wayne and Martha Wayne might not be good person we thought they were after all

Yes I agree I the riddler did gotham City a favor by killing off all the corruption politicians in gothams that were lying too the people and doing bad dirty things being greedy
Not really, he still flooded the city, killed corruptions/criminals, now the kids dont have a father to look up, might probably become bad in the future. Ya sure hes doing the right thing but its the wrong method, Batman way of putting criminals in jail is better.
I hope we can see in The Penguin the consecuences of this exposure of the Waynes. Like it or not, this will tarnish Thomas' reputation and Bruce will be forced to deal with it. And don't hate me, but I quite like that despite being a good man, Thomas isn't a saint. In most media we see Thomas as a role model and perfect. So it feels kinda refreshing to see that even he has his dirty laundry. The first time I saw something like that was in Gotham series, there it is established that Thomas was aware of the corruption within Wayne Enterprises but kept silence because he knew it was the only way Gotham would have a chance to be a better place, he and Falcone "ruled" the city, Thomas in public and Falcone from the shadows (although I hate his version in Joker film, that is certainly NOT Thomas, he would never be a jerk like that)
I think the Thomas Wayne of the Batman is a good balance between Batman Begins Thomas Wayne and Joker Movie Thomas Wayne not too good like Begins Thomas but not too awful like Joker Thomas
@@williamdaviddiazcuchimaque7511 Heath Ledger’s performance as the Joker was the best in my opinion. He was legendary at it, but his Joker only wrecked and damaged parts of Gotham City; just like other Jokers such as Nicholson and Phoenix. Paul Dano’s Riddler however, destroyed all of Gotham City by blowing up the City’s sea walls, flooding everything where no one was safe - That’s the difference between a villain and a supervillain my friend. for anyone that doesn't understand this scene the Wayne's is the fathers family and the Arkham is the mothers side and Bruce Wayne's/ batman's grandma shot her husbands aka batman's grandma then shot herself while batman's mother was standing right in front of them as a child but the family used their money to make it look like a accident so that it wouldn't put a bad picture on them Bruce Wayne mother was in and out of institution for years but Tomas Wayne didn't want anyone to know that so Tomas Wayne tried to pay this reporter to stop and not go any further with this but the reporter refused so Tomas Wayne went to a long time drug lord gang maphia friend carmine Falcone with the intentions of scaring and threating this reporter but carmine shot and killed the reporter Tomas Wayne got very mad at carmine and threatened to tell the police and on that night Tomas and Martha Wayne were murdered in a alley after watching a movie called zoro but carmine most likely didn't shoot them he most likely paid one of his goons this took forever pls like
It gets really tragic when you realize that Martha was so traumatized by her parents murder suicide (the implication being that she was the one who found the bodies or even witnessed it) that she ended up spending a good chunk of her life in the hospital. Thomas Wayne made a horrible mistake in trusting Falcone. But he was trying to protect his wife from reliving that trauma.

Paul Dano did an amazing job. Such a phenomenal actor.
