Can confirm - Dan helped me buy the perfect Ferrari for me. Josh and Dan are unbelievably knowledgeable and can save you money and time. I’ll never buy another exotic without them. 🤩
I used Dan's consultation services several years ago when I bought my 575. This was pre-dealership and back when Dan was primarily a UA-camr and just starting the NGS business. Even then, as stated in the video, it was very helpful to discuss questions and bounce ideas off of a neutral observer. It gave me more confidence in the purchase and was well worth the modest investment. I'm sure that the service is even more valuable now, as Dan (and Josh) have spent more time in the industry.
I’m 20 & working my way to achieving my dream of owning a screaming Ferrari 458 spider… I love ur informative passionate videos & I’ll definitely keep you guys in mind in a decade or so when my time comes!!!!!
Using your consultation services on very expensive cars is a no-brainer! Thankfully, your client realized he was emotionally attached to the other car and listen to you guys
I bought my 488 about a year ago and used this service as i knew two things about Ferraris, Jack and Crap. Josh went to see the car in PA., called me with his assessment after his test drive and conversations with the dealer. Best thing i ever did and will do it again with the next one. You Guys ROCK!
Reaching the point when you can finally financially afford one of these cars is a big life event for many people. And the reward is a an absolutely beautiful car. It’s easy to get wrapped up in such a transaction emotionally especially if it is the first one you are purchasing. If you are too spontaneous, the experience can end up being a total nightmare. Dan’s advice is spot on.
I hired Josh to go look at my Ford gt I purchased and his input was worth every penny; I then recommended my brother use their services to inspect a gtc4 lusso, and Josh ended up saving him thousands. Highly recommend these guys.
Great advice for any car transaction. Emotions get the best of us which is why we wanted the car in the first place, LOL. You need someone with a clear head to bring you down to earth sometimes 🙂
Great video Dan! Very informative NG Crue props. All potential car buyers go through the process he explained and take your emotions out of it. If you don't, your emotions are going to be in it along with your wallet when something goes wrong.
He’s so right, I bought a 2007 f430 through bat auction and had to have the convertible top rebuilt and a half dozen other repairs as soon as I got the car, this was an expensive lesson since the repairs were performed by my local Ferrari dealership service department, they did a great job and I totally love my car but getting a 17k bill immediately after buying it was a shock.
I love watching your videos, and I really appreciate the valuable service you provide. Just to play devil's advocate for a moment, since you're also in the business of buying supercars, how can customers be sure that you're not giving a car a lower grade in order to buy it at a better price for your business?
Love it! do you offer the same service with girlfriends where you verify that she is not a nutcase, hasn't had too many previous owners and will be a joy to ride?
Very helpful video for me. I am actually thinking about buying either a used Cayenne Turbo or X5m or an M5 in the future. I know these are not Ferraris or very expensive cars, nonetheless I will be using Dan's consultation services.
I really like the way you presented the deposit scenario and the consulting emotional thing.! My first wife was a Ferrari that I was told not to buy. My second wife was a yellow Lambo. Again I didn't listen to my consultants. What a loser I am! My third wife is Camry, pretty and very low maintenance. LOL
Oh no 😬 this is true and I even bought a new untitle car that had issues and it was 2 years of hell 😢. When you see red flags run!!! There will be another one without the red flags.
Bough my first 430 sometime ago from carrio motorcar of fort lauderdale cost me 12k to get it running properly luckily I had negotiated about 13k off the final price lesson learned tho
Is your consultation service structured as a hourly rate plus expenses? Is travel time billable? Is there a deliverable you create based on your findings?
In the USA are you guys having problems with theft? In Canada it’s a hugge problem where owning supercars or expensive vehicles makes you a target with theft. Home invasions are at an all time high and many people are selling the vehicles in fear of getting robbed.
No, unlike Canada, in the US, especially Texas, we own guns and get to use them. Our police don't tell us to make our cars easy to steal, like the Chief of Police of Toronto, I think, said.
The craziest part of this story is a Ferrari dealer was gonna do a PPI. I got laughed off the phone for asking for such a menial task when they had F40s and 250 GTOs to service!
Always when the deal is too good to be true you need to walk away something is sketchy. If you dont have FU money you need another opinion when buying a expensive car
Often happens to 1st time buyers of dream cars to have their little heads over rule their larger heads and dismissing cooler calmer experienced heads! Applies to finding a proper wife also! LOL!

Thank you Scott! I still need to see it in person.

Very cool. Hope to be able to help you someday
That a boy! Make it happen;! Relentlessly move forward with focus, purpose, rest/recovery and knowing and it will be :)

Exactly! I still remember how nervous I was buying my first 430.

Absolutely

Yup we've seen it happen many times
100% agree. And now you know that dealer is shady and can pass that along to future clients.
Basically yes
Good advice for any price point car.
Ouch yeah that's an unpleasant bill to have right away.
Great sdvice Dan
I thought at first it was going to be a vid on Tyler's 488. Any chance you could get some more video of Tyler's 488 Dan? I love that car!
We will soon

Just to play devil's advocate for a moment, since you're also in the business of buying supercars, how can customers be sure that you're not giving a car a lower grade in order to buy it at a better price for your business?
Ethics.
Love it! do you offer the same service with girlfriends where you verify that she is not a nutcase, hasn't had too many previous owners and will be a joy to ride?
Lol I'm not that savvy
Very helpful video for me. I am actually thinking about buying either a used Cayenne Turbo or X5m or an M5 in the future. I know these are not Ferraris or very expensive cars, nonetheless I will be using Dan's consultation services.
Ah yes, Josh definitely knows way more about those cars than I do and can help.
I really like the way you presented the deposit scenario and the consulting emotional thing.! My first wife was a Ferrari that I was told not to buy. My second wife was a yellow Lambo. Cars are like women, when you lust after one you ignore the red flags 😂
Oh so true.
Oh no 😬 this is true and I even bought a new untitle car that had issues and it was 2 years of hell 😢. When you see red flags run!!! There will be another one without the red flags.
Very accurate.
I wish you guys can tutor on fixing Ferraris.
Love your channel. How would this work if the car is on the other side of the country?
Amazing advice, can't wait until I get to point where I can use your advice! LOL
Thank you and we look forward to helping you
Bough my first 430 sometime ago from carrio motorcar of fort lauderdale cost me 12k to get it running properly luckily I had negotiated about 13k off the final price lesson learned tho
Yeah that could have certainly been worse
Do you offer consulting on Lamborghini purchases? Specifically Aventadors?
Yes
The fact that people will not send you guys out, even if it costs $3,000 or 4,000, is silly when you are spending hundreds or thousands
Agreed
what are black clean 488 coupes going for?
200-275
Is your consultation service structured as a hourly rate plus expenses? Is travel time billable? Is there a deliverable you create based on your findings?
We do hourly and we do flat fee depending on what's being requested.
In the USA are you guys having problems with theft? In Canada it’s a hugge problem where owning supercars or expensive vehicles makes you a target with theft. Home invasions are at an all time high and many people are selling the vehicles in fear of getting robbed.

Not really. It does happen but you don't really hear about it much. And to the other commenters point, yes guns are a strong deterrent.
The craziest part of this story is a Ferrari dealer was gonna do a PPI. I got laughed off the phone for asking for such a menial task when they had F40s and 250 GTOs to service!
Yeah it's beneath them. Lol
Dan, do you think a vehicle with many prior owners is riskier in general than a car with just one owner?
Riskier? Not really. Just depends how it was taken care of.
@@normalguysupercarthanks, I get in my head that car with 6 owners is because they have been playing hot potato when it comes to deferred maintenance.
Consult services should be factored in before carbon upgrades
Haha yes
Always when the deal is too good to be true you need to walk away something is sketchy. If you dont have FU money you need another opinion when buying a expensive car
You don't need to walk away, but you need to figure out why it's priced that way.
Often happens to 1st time buyers of dream cars to have their little heads over rule their larger heads and dismissing cooler calmer experienced heads! Applies to finding a proper wife also! LOL!
Hahaha yes sir
9:38 ethics & morals question and paid consultant. Integrity is I want you to be happy with buying, so I can buy it off you later lol
I mean ideally if someone hires us to help them buy a car and we really like it, we'd definitely buy it from them since we already know the car.
Reminds me of how guys act with women too LOL. He wasn’t ready to move on until he found another car. 😂
Lol
So you’re saying don’t trust your words when buying from you? Got it
I'm not sure how you interpreted that
Your intro just doesn't work anymore guys. You're grownups.
Eh are we ever really grown up?
