Just great, really helpful content. Thanks for in depth when buying or selling supercars. Well appreciated! Wish you good chaps all the best in your ventures. Cheers!
You guys need a shipping company, and then head to Monaco. The types of cars your looking for are with Wallstreet or Hollywood or Government contractors here in the states. The other people that own them are shade tree dudes that you have shown on your channel. Thats a tough business, but im glad you guys are sticking with the tranparency.
So when I'm ready for my next car ( i have a few on the list ) are you guys willing to look for one to fill an order because honestly I really like your process and feel like you'd do the legwork I'm not really able to do very well
We tried that but it was too complicated so we stopped offering that as a service at this time. It's far too time consuming for us compared to how much money people are willing to pay.
Just like the guys selling a $20,000 rolex on facebook marketplace and you click on their profile and they have photos of their $3,000 volkswagen jetta...hmmm.
There's a podcast "Flipping Genius" that is for people wanting to start small used car dealerships. Usually at very low price points- below $6-7,000. They talk about finding cars exaclty how you do. I wish you'd go on the podcast.
All I did for the first 10+ years in the car business was $10k and under. Believe it or not, its harder than doing supercars because competition is fierce both on the buy and sell side
i am in the process of buying a higher mileage aventador in Tx, i am pressing hard for service records over the last 5 years, ownership history and all the stuff that you guys talked about. Researched all the potential issues, all the mods, screening the PPIs in the houston area (asked Josh about it but it's too far for him), checking out the consumables, cosmetic issues etc. and seller and their mechanic thinks i am a fucking pain in the ass....it's tough. People expect you to write a 400-500k check and not ask questions, it's frustrating
Interesting how both Josh-Technical and Josh-Sales really really know their stuff! Would be good to see them both in an episode chewing the fat over a Ferrari from both of their points of view. That would be entertaining!
Wow! It´s amazing to see the entire process of acquiring a car by you guys! Like you say, you need to cover your asses, cause if something goes wrong you´ll lose tons of money and the car will get stuck in your stock for... like... forever?
Jokes aside, I really like how super upfront and transparent you are here. If I ever am in a financial situation to get a 360, I would definitely look to your dealership first.
most people have no idea what recon cost. new tires 2 to 3k or more, tuneup oil change can cost 1k or more, brakes 3 to 6k. you guys put alot of money and time getting cars to ng standards
@@normalguysupercar Dan I'm not going to give you the whole nine yards on Joseph M Juran and W Edwards Deming but I'd like to see say Adam inspect the vehicle after you have done all the refurb work (assuming it's a Ferrari). He will be checking things like I said the Tyre Size and Speed rating. the function of all controls, the panel gaps, the paint finish and the service documentation. He will be running through this checklist on his iPad and taking photographs as he goes. The benefits are increased customer satisfaction, opportunity to improve internal processes and maybe most importantly you don't get sued!. Enjoy your Sunday and yes I'm going to pray for you too!
We don't have direct relationships with banks like big independents or new car franchise dealerships do but we can work with just about any bank out there but the customer has to do the legwork of applying, getting approved, etc.
Very informative. Not just for supercars but for all cars. Great video.
Yes indeed

I think there's a big enough market here
Looks like Josh really knows what he is doing.
Yup

@@normalguysupercar ok just thought I'd ask
Guy on left seems cool. The one on right not so much
Hmm ok
So Dan you have the “smack” sound, Adam has the “squeaky” toy. Why doesn’t Josh have a sound? Can we have a suggestion contest?? 😂
I'm open to suggestions
Do you do trades, don't like doing private sales but don't want to loose the tax advantage of trade in. I'm local
Yup we take in trades
So many ways to get screwed when buying a car especially in your positions with intent to sell at a profit. Sounds like alot of work lol
It is
I don’t have a super car but I’d be scared to sell it to you if I did have one Lol
Na we're not mean
Hi Dan... I'm kinda scared of Josh 😳. I'll bring my Ferrari to you Dan ok!! Its PERFECT trust me.. 😁
Lol
Just like the guys selling a $20,000 rolex on facebook marketplace and you click on their profile and they have photos of their $3,000 volkswagen jetta...hmmm.
Yeah that's always a red flag
You guys are definitely starting off in the right direction.. Outstanding ! GOD Speed and Prosper my friends !
Thank you
Thanks for the trade in value on sales tax explanation
You bet

Yeah that seems like a lot of work
There isn’t a vehicle for 6-7k retail I’d put my name behind in this market,
@@kevinw627 In that price range it’s all about setting expectations

Yeah your job is to be a pain in the ass right now.
@@normalguysupercar finally a job for which I am naturally qualified
🤨🙄😗...........
Ok
Right. Some people expect grade 9-10 prices for their used car that’s had 5 owners in 9 years.
That's fine if it is a 9 or 10 but usually they are not.
Interesting how both Josh-Technical and Josh-Sales really really know their stuff! Would be good to see them both in an episode chewing the fat over a Ferrari from both of their points of view.

Yup! We've spent a ton of money on tires. Lol
What about the fact that the previous owners took eveythiing that came with the car from the factory, all you get is one key.
That's typical
Hey Dan, would you be interested in a Shelby GT350?
Possibly for the right price
What is The Howard? Well, it's a place...and a state of mind.
Haha yes
Really, really useful info for anybody, buying any car. Private or trade.
Yes indeed
Gentlemen that is very good. What about Quality Assurance?
There's really no way to guarantee quality. There's always some risk

Don’t forget to check the owners LinkedIn profile.
I forgot to mention it but I do that sometimes depending on the circumstances
Yeah that's another good thing to check
