It's the first game, in this genre, where i said "GG", even with a K/D of 1-5/20-30, just because i worked in team, i helped my squad, i brought supplies and ammunitions where needed, i raised and healed a lot of wounded allies, i spotted enemies' movements and given suppression fire, and so on. Great game!! Definitely and fortunately not a BF or a COD.
@@monsterboomer8051 I just recently started playing and like the videos saying it is all about communication and teamwork it really is if your squad isn't talking and squad leaders aren't communicating it's going to be a bad time
I never understood how enemies always seemed to respond faster, shoot more accurately, and spot me first. Then I stopped sprinting, sometimes even pausing for a few seconds and just waiting, suddenly I start seeing enemies who don't seem to see me and I am able to accurately pick them off. I think sprinting constantly while not understanding line of sight and general map knowledge is the biggest killer.
Yup. Understand the difference in a tactical sprint and traversing. Traverse when you should be tactical; your going to get picked off. Being to tactical when your clear to traverse and your going to waste time
Late comment but...THIS. Move in short sprints. I usually crouch and move around until we cap the point. At around 300m from the next point I start scanning for enemies. I always find the stealth squad or mgs trying to ambush us.
Yeah really frustrating and a bit overwhelming for me getting started but I'm trying to work though that and get better as this is such an amazing game.
great video however i think you forgot a few tips for beginners : 1/ LOOK AT YOUR MAP - You will see the map when you are dead and looking for a spawn point. When you are there dont spawn HQ if you have garrison/outpost closer to the front line or you will spend 10 minutes running to ennemies. * Spawn next to where the action is , if you see a point half caped or you see your teammates somewhere ( green dots ) then spawn as close as possible . * The point you are spawing next to is not capped or half capped = be ready to fight enemies , so act as such , dont go running around * Your spawn is blinking RED = ennemies are very close to this point , if you decide to spawn there ,be ready for heavy action , lie down immediatly and look around for enemies ( one guy is enough to make the spawn blink , and he is around somewhere , if you dont find him search more he is camping somewhere ) * if you dont find a spawn you like or dont know where to go then ask your squad leader about it - Look at your map even when you are not dead, this will give you precious informations , if you see you are on the front line of your team going to ennemies territory or point , guess what you gonna find in front of you ? Also there are reckons planes , when you hear one , open your map , all the red dots you will see on the map are ennemies. If you open the map ONLY when you are dead you are doing it wrong. 2- Positioning Also with the help of your map , use it and think. Imagine you just capped a point , you are on the point with other team mates. Now the best place to look most of time is in " front ' or ennemies territory , they should come from there but they could flank u also so be careful. But if for ex your squadleader ask you to stay there and defend then look at the map and position yourself correctly. If there is lets say 10 min left and you are winning , they gonna rush the point like crazy , move to the side of the point and position yourself in order to cut the reinforcement coming in . Stay there and just wait ... If your orders are to attack an area , open your map , do you see team mates already there ? no ? then approach it very carefully , stop 50 to 100 meters before and scout the area to see whats going on . When you know where to go then look and listen of whats going on in front. Do you hear gun fire ? dont go running around everywhere carelessly. Do you see friendly icons becoming greyer ( your mates are dead ) in front of you ? then there are ennemies not far There are times when its actually ok to run carelessy in the middle of the field because its a shortcut , only after you study the map , if green dots are on the side and in front then you should be ok :)
This is definitely my favorite ww2 game. Its quick TTK and pretty realistic in a historical sense. Don't get bogged down by the long runs, you get into action after the first couple minutes moving up to the contested points. Garrisons and outposts are spawns and the more the better. Also you really cant play this game effectively without a mic. You definitely need to be talking with your squad because almost all roles in the squad support each other. Hope to see this player base grow.

I highly suggest you watch someone streaming the game. I will stream on Twitch tomorrow. @@hermetichermitxxxiii8131 Please accept this as a means of constructive criticism but you are playing the wrong game. It is a different experience than the usual fast paced shooter which it appears that you are used to. What needs to change is your approach to this game and how it plays. A friend of mine convinced me to get this game, and I definitely don’t regret it. Its an amazing game, and fun to play. BUT (and it’s a big but), the game gets frustrating very quickly if you don’t have a team that can communicate or even a commander, which happens often

It took me like a day to figure it out. A week on I’m getting good at finding ppl and killing. As AT I managed to sneak up on the enimy and got into a good position. I wiped out 2-3 squads on point and a tank.
Newbs come in from Enlisted or CoD and then do what they normally do: sprint around until you see bad guys and shoot em first. Problem is, that doesn’t work here the maps are more open allowing engagements from distance. Other games “funnel” players along a small amount of paths to artificially manufacture close battles. You must go cover to cover concealment to concealment and stop to scan to see if there’s anyone watching. You gotta assume someone is looking at you down the barrel of their gun at ALL times.
my first experiences with this game were mostly of sitting in the same building while bullets rain and explosions rained everywhere, and trying not to accidentally team kill with my magic teammate homing bullets because the second i tried to leave or stick my head out of an unoccupied window i just got shot, but alteast i can just spawn next to the house and not 200m+ off in an open field because 1 single enemy is hiding nearby. still a better experience than ptsd simulator aka rising storm 2, and i think being able to tell friendlies apart by a blue icon above their head instead of by uniform really helps with the teamkilling and general insanity. just really wish there were more variety in weapons tho so im not choosing classes just so i can use a gun im good with , and for the love of god, jeeps or hell, even bicycles (like hero's and generals), really sucks to have to suicide just to avoid 10 minutes of running back from a battle that was over by the time i arrived
Talking about suppression for a second... I don't actually think the suppression mechanic is required in this game, when you are being shot at, if it's not immediately clear where the fire is coming from you're suppressed, and forced to take cover or be shot. The legality combined with accuracy at certain engagement ranges, means you quite often get pinned down, regardless of the effect.
Funny thing is any time I play COD I usually set it to one bullet kills on most games and healing is disabled. I hate when they make games without that. It's a gun, it kills. I've never met anyone who could shrug off a single bullet in their skull
I've never pointed my weapon at an enemy does the enemy exist? Or do you just run around the map and wait for your soldier to hear a snapping sound to die?
Great game concept, the in-game tutorial is far to be complete, so many icons on the tactical map aren't explained. I don't know how to throw a grenade with accuracy... My other issue at a time is to find my position on the tactical map, Devs should make it more visible.
The big question is, how do you know WHERE the enemies are coming from? there's like 4 different angles when defending an objective or assaulting one, where should i be looking?
Perfect example of what is wrong with this game. It's not a FPS, it's a garrison killer/spawn killer simulation. Also you can set up garrisons anywhere. Two guys lugging it around the far edges of a huge map can set up a spawn in the enemy's rear. Not realistic, but great for popping out dudes who'll take up position in various hedges to one-shot kill the enemy team. Boring as fuck game.
Even new, I tried to take the slow approach, but still find myself being spotted even when prone near brush in night maps, and even patiently crouching in a bush in the dark not firing. Still get picked off from out of nowhere, even when nothing nearby was going on for five minutes or more. Are people cranking up their gamma to see better in the dark?
Thanks, very interesting although I did not even played this game but it makes me seriously curious :) have to figure it out how to install on my new MBPro 16. Maybe you have here comments that have experien in setting up MacBook with Win10 on boot camp playing this game?
I want to love this game but....Most games stray from being too realistic for a reason...It zaps the fun out it. There still only 24 hours in a day, but dozens and dozens of new things to play, I don't have extra time to learn a "game" inside and out this much to enjoy it, but that's me, moving on.

I think being stuck with the SMGs is huge issue for me, it's out ranged by every other weapon
Naw i watched a lot of videos this best explains the game and especially explains the officer role thank you
Quality content, subbed : D
Great Video 👍
Now while i hear it in your vid: Imagine HLL with the music of the BF series...
my first experiences with this game were mostly of sitting in the same building while bullets rain and explosions rained everywhere, and trying not to accidentally team kill with my magic teammate homing bullets because the second i tried to leave or stick my head out of an unoccupied window i just got shot, but alteast i can just spawn next to the house and not 200m+ off in an open field because 1 single enemy is hiding nearby. still a better experience than ptsd simulator aka rising storm 2, and i think being able to tell friendlies apart by a blue icon above their head instead of by uniform really helps with the teamkilling and general insanity. just really wish there were more variety in weapons tho so im not choosing classes just so i can use a gun im good with , and for the love of god, jeeps or hell, even bicycles (like hero's and generals), really sucks to have to suicide just to avoid 10 minutes of running back from a battle that was over by the time i arrived
If you have to run that far for that long you’re doing something wrong
Talking about suppression for a second... I don't actually think the suppression mechanic is required in this game, when you are being shot at, if it's not immediately clear where the fire is coming from you're suppressed, and forced to take cover or be shot. The legality combined with accuracy at certain engagement ranges, means you quite often get pinned down, regardless of the effect.
Good tips. Thanks. Also need tips how to make game run better.
Thank you, great tutorial.
Bro the running I feel that so much
This game is awful at first just a warning for new players
Great advises! Epic Game. Best from the 82AD community.
Funny thing is any time I play COD I usually set it to one bullet kills on most games and healing is disabled. I hate when they make games without that. It's a gun, it kills. I've never met anyone who could shrug off a single bullet in their skull
Big thanks great info.
Patience is key
At the "FFS never going to play 1 second anymore" fase at the moment...
Try and get into a squad with +100 lvl players. You'll learn a lot from them.
Been playing the game for days, but haven't seen the enemy or killed the enemy. It's a run-around and die game for sure.
I've never pointed my weapon at an enemy does the enemy exist? Or do you just run around the map and wait for your soldier to hear a snapping sound to die?
Thanks!!
Great game concept, the in-game tutorial is far to be complete, so many icons on the tactical map aren't explained. I don't know how to throw a grenade with accuracy... My other issue at a time is to find my position on the tactical map, Devs should make it more visible.
1. spawn on AN OP and have a good leader.
2. if u run do it crouching.
Started playing with my friends and loved it but now they don’t play I find this game tedious.
There are several communities around this game, I personally play on TeamDIXX servers a lot and found they have a very active and welcoming discord.
Thank's mon watch all off our tip thank's mate from fin in sydney AUS
Glad to help!
Good guide
Really useful
Learn to be squad leader, have support follow you. Build Garrison outside of attack point. You win big fun lol
I keep playin on shiity squads and commanders
I don’t run across the map but I try to wait and get shot either way.
The big question is, how do you know WHERE the enemies are coming from? there's like 4 different angles when defending an objective or assaulting one, where should i be looking?
I'm seeing these questions very often. I think I'm going to make a video to address this specifically. It should be out during this week.
@9:10 also, don't team kill. The game is already hard. :)
1:07 well, that could have gone a lot worse.
Playing on ps5 and I kept dying to unseen enemies 😂
😂
Perfect example of what is wrong with this game. It's not a FPS, it's a garrison killer/spawn killer simulation. Also you can set up garrisons anywhere. Two guys lugging it around the far edges of a huge map can set up a spawn in the enemy's rear. Not realistic, but great for popping out dudes who'll take up position in various hedges to one-shot kill the enemy team. Boring as fuck game.
I spent 30 minutes with just me in the server, with the odd person joining then leaving
Even new, I tried to take the slow approach, but still find myself being spotted even when prone near brush in night maps, and even patiently crouching in a bush in the dark not firing. Still get picked off from out of nowhere, even when nothing nearby was going on for five minutes or more. Are people cranking up their gamma to see better in the dark?
yes
I'm just brushing up for the PS5 release.
Artillery sucks.
I’m literally in a hole, no one is actively shooting at me.
And BLAMMO. I hear that shriek n I’m done.
Thanks, very interesting although I did not even played this game but it makes me seriously curious :) have to figure it out how to install on my new MBPro 16. Maybe you have here comments that have experien in setting up MacBook with Win10 on boot camp playing this game?
I would try to try support forums for that. I'm not a Mac user, but maybe you can find help in the games official discord.
Pro tip- play the game like it’s mirrors edge and get to a cheeky spot
hey how do you get the Hell Let Loose game label in you video's description? the one where it says "browse game" and you can click on it
I want to love this game but....Most games stray from being too realistic for a reason...It zaps the fun out it. There still only 24 hours in a day, but dozens and dozens of new things to play, I don't have extra time to learn a "game" inside and out this much to enjoy it, but that's me, moving on.
if you don't mind me asking, what type of computer do you use and which settings do you use in hell let loose too?
i7-8700k, 2080 RTX, 32Gb @ 4200mhz. Right now these are my settings: i.imgur.com/yDpw1iC.png But I'm trying things out. I might do a graphics settings video as soon as Update 8 comes out because if I do it now it won't last very long until things change.
9:10 lmao
Yes, ten times on first day...
Step one - dont die
Step two - just be better than you are
Step three - just stay alive
How to stop dying, Don't leave HQ spawn and go prone in the corner of the map.
