  • Joey Colombo of Axis Pedals shows us what they were showing at NAMM this year and a glimpse at what they are releasing this year.
    About AXiS:
AXiS Pedal & Drum Co specializes in the production of high-quality American Made drum pedals and other drum accessories. The Company was founded in 1990 as Axis Percussion and was based in South California. Today, AXiS is headquartered in Northern California with manufacturing facilities in Wisconsin and the San Francisco Bay Area.
In the late 1980s, drummers were becoming frustrated with the limitations of existing drum pedals and were looking for a pedal that could offer great speed, more power, and better control. After years of development, refinement, and artist input, AXiS introduced the original AXiS Pedal featuring a direct-drive mechanism and uniquely innovative CAM design that allows for the precise adjustment of the pedal’s feel and response. The pedal was an immediate success and continues to be one of our best-selling products today.
Today, Axis is one of the most respected names in the drum hardware industry, and its products are used by drummers worldwide. The company continues to innovate and push the boundaries of what is possible in drum hardware, and its pedals are known for their precision, speed, and power.

Been using an AXIS single since 1990! Purchased from Jerry Garcia’s Seattle Drum Shop. Only modification is the occasional swap to a DANMAR beater depending on the gig. Don’t think I’ve touched or adjusted a thing in three decades. Speaks for itself.

I have the A21 that's now called the Wideboard. It's the best single I've ever played. Got the heavy duty spiring. Don't care what you use.

Right, how long did it take to make a driveshaft that wasn't round? And a single screw connection on either side.
