- In this Video our Artist Relations Manager Zed Amarin goes over the types of Footboards and Cams Axis Percussion offers and the main differences between them and also goes over adjustment options and how to set your pedals to get the most out of them.
Zed also goes over about the latest addition to the Axis Repertoire, the "Carbon Fiber Footboards"
Filmed and edited by Jonathan Launer at the Axis Percussion Head Quarters in Carson California.
It’d be great if someone from this company would actually respond to emails regarding orders.
I have the A21 Laser single, now the Wideboard. I put the heavy spring on it and haven’t looked back. It’s more rock than speed metal. It’s MY pedal. Pedals are personal. Give ‘em a try.
Just got my carbon fiber longboard!
I play heel & toe, the weight difference is unreal. I had the wide longboard.
Carbon fiber board allows me to play faster, more accurately w/less effort. I will be posting soon.
I modded my AL's with custom AZ31B magnesium alloy planks. smooth, light, and a custom shape to fit all of the different techniques I use.
Just got my Axis pedals today I love them. When are you guy's gonna stock the E kit's again
do still have th axis calibre pedal?
Man I would love to have a pair of any of those pedals lol or really any actual pair of pedals I don't have a drumset (I'm trying to save up to get a drumset) but it's hard at the moment but I made me some pedals from wood and really anything I can find lol I mean there not the best or the prettiest around but I practice at them every chance I get. I really can't wait till I hopefully one day get a actual drumset and pedals. lol not trying to come off like a dork or nothing lol but its really helped me alot mentally and with my constant battle with addiction. But yeah take care everyone.

How does the X cam feel compared to the A? What position on the VDL does it feel similar to the X?
All the way at the top. They cover it towards the end of part 1
Hey, How much was the A 770 LB Original Price? I got one bargain on a flea market for 8 Euro ;)
Does he have Carl Sagan tattooed on his forearm? Because of he does, that's friggin' awesome
ppp.
carbon fiber boards seem 10-15 years late. Meaning there wasnt anything stopping them from developing a pedal back then with carbon
Current owners are not original owners.
The main reason i dont play Axis is the weak bottom plate. How can a company sell something so weak that it will bend around the bassdrum hoop? And no i dident screw it to hard. Im sticking to my Speedcobras. Built like tanks.
He was so nervous
Ck
Ive got an double Axis longboard and it looks like halfway Axis stopped the engineering to annoy their customers. Its a total joke with countless flaws, for instance the distance between the beaters is just ridiculous and makes the slave sound like total crap. Probably the reason why Axis drummers love triggers which are a joke too. You can't even connect it properly to the kickhoop and its absurdly overpriced. There are way better and smoother direct drive pedals. Most of them are a lots of cheaper too. 'If its expensive it has to be good' No way Axis and you know it. Axis' customer care is one of the worst Ive ever experienced, they don't give a flying flickflock about their customers.
It seems to me that some of the issues have already been addressed in the new products. How old is your double pedal?
can you please add a paypal account? thanks.

Wow! That's great...so.do you feel the "carbon pedal is more faster than the original long bard pedal"?...and what kind of drum beaters are you using sir?..thanks
@@drunken-skunk yes, if I where to give it a time frame… I would say I’m a 16th faster/improvement over conventional longboards. I use ACD Darwin N+1 beater(s). They actually can be moved “closer” to the head of the drum. This means the beater doesn’t “reach” or go beyond vertical, which is the most powerful point of the beater stroke.
