I tried everything including resetting to the factory settings,...and still it would not connect. Then, i saw a comment in a LG forum about hitting the lower back right side of the TV (looking at the back of TV) with a rubber mallet...i didn't have a mallet, so i used my hand,.....and Holy cow, it worked!!
Thank you very much - first step worked for me and also connected to the polk speaker, which had never happened despite seeking help from both polk and lg
If you unplug the TV and hold down the power button for 10 seconds the capacitors will be drained. No need to wait 10 additional minutes. Also, a power strip is more than capable of handling the ~100 watts needed for a TV. If it's not it's probably a surge protector strip that has failed from being hit with a surge and it needs to be replaced. Never plug sensitive and expensive electronics directly into an outlet.
Some LG TVs don't connect to an open wi fi network (without weap3 weas security features) and this could be a problem. Is it possible to prevent that by modifying the settings in order that TV can connects to an open wifi network also?
Thank you, the step that worked for me was to unplug the TV, press the power button for 30 seconds, wait a minimum of 10 min and plug the TV directly into the wall socket.

Hi how did you fix this problem
The same. It’s not highlighted.

Thank you. The third way worked for me.
I already tried these but same thing repeats. Every time I need to disable and enable wifi adapter for the tv to be able to connect to network.
Hey, the Advanced network settings is greyed out? And the last suggestion - if we are not connected to the internet, how can we download an upgrade?

In my settings there is no connect to WiFi. I have WiFi direct. I have put in the router password but still cannot download any apps.
I cannot load apps on my tv to get tv code
Mine didn’t work
It can connect to Wi-Fi after I disconnect it can decide not to connect again sometimes even if I put password it won’t connect
So did you have to get another tv or you found another way to connect it
It’s Wi-Fi modules I changed now it’s working perfectly thnx
