LG Smart TV: How to Fix The Black Screen Problem

I tried this method and it worked perfectly. My screen went black as I was watching but the sound was ok. I followed your instructions and and the screen cleared from black, back to normal. Thx worked again. Faced this problem twice. if it doenst work at the first time try more than once it should come. And try to turn off energy saving mode i think it is related with it.

I had same problem few years ago...display cups inside the TV were damaged so had to change it and was quite costly but after just 2 years same problem arised since yesterday

It's the led light strips. Either you need to test with a led tester each strip and individual led if necessary. Then solder a the broken or dim ones, and/or just replace the entire strip without soldering.
