For those of yo, like myself, that couldn't get past the user agreements due to WiFi connection/server errors...after spending an eternity on phone with LG support it was discovered that the user's country wasn't entered (in my case USA), that simple little detail solved all my connectivity to internet problems, now working like a champ
My tv wouldn’t connect to internet, but every other device connects fine with internet. The first steps didn’t work, but the second option did work. Thank you
I’ve had my CX OLED for a couple years now and I had this issue JUST come up now when I had temporarily switch routers. WHAT WORKED: disabling the TV+ thing and doing the power reset. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
I’ve had my CX OLED for a couple years now and I had this issue JUST come up now when I had to temporarily switch to a different router and go back to the old one. WHAT WORKED: disabling the QuickTV+ thing and doing the power reset. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
this is exactly what happens to me! it wouldn’t be so bad but even when you put the wifi password in multiple times it simply won’t connect. it’s so incredibly frustrating
I set on factory setting and connected it straight to a mobile hotspot than I could finally download the terms of agreement, for anyone who had this problem
Thank you for helping me with my tv. I’ve been going absolutely insane for the past three days trying to figure out how to connect my Wi-Fi back to my TV. Woke up one morning and it just wasn’t connected anymore, but thank you for all your help.
It did work for me as well. But , I did have the error code come up after plug reset, I went to networks, re-entered my password for my router and boom. Connected. Big thank you Sir!
I did this an the other video which says to change location then back an change it again etc etc.. Not sure which one worked but after several attempts at both it finally worked an reset. Thank you!!
Wow. Actually worked. I’ve got a 48 inch CX Oled. And just randomly it wouldn’t connect to my internet or accept my password. Done this method and bang. Connection back. Earned a like and subscribe for me
dude..wtf?! u buy a expensive tv and search workarounds for wifi issues...that kind of "issue" was not suposed to happen in the 1st place but lg is no1 crap technology ever made
After several minutes and frustration I happened across your Video. Thank you so much. Followed your easy and clear instructions and I now have Wi-Fi on my television. 😊😊
Thank you sir! First solution worked like a charm, and all mine was saying was "unknown issue" where yours showed "incorrect password", so I'm glad it took it. Power outage made the tv go nuts after not being hooked up to the internet for a few days I suppose
Thanks brother I tried this and it worked! I also disconnected wifi connection and just have it wired. LG C2 has this issue. With all the frequencies I guess LG still hasn’t been able out to fix this issue.
Thanks Tech Giant, this worked perfectly 'Down Under' on my CX OLED 2021 model. The TV kept thinking there was no wifi whatsoever, but after trying your method everything worked perfectly. Pls keep posting.
Thank you for the periodic tips. It really helps! Just wondering if you’ve encountered this bug before on the C2/G2: Sometimes the sound stops outputting out of the TV speakers whenever a device connected via HDMI is turned off while that device is set to output sound through headphones instead of the TV speakers itself. e.g. I was playing on my PS5/PC and was outputting the sound through my headphones for voice chat. If I turn off the PS5 or PC while leaving the sound output this way, the TV would bug out and will no longer output sound through the tv speakers, soundbar etc. It’s as if it’s still looking for the headphones to output sound to. No amount of manual tinkering or A/V reset was able to fix it. Only a full factory reset is able to fix it. It’s happened to me 3 times so far and is quite annoying when it happens.
Can't you turn the Console back on change the setting to TV speakers then turn the console off. Or do the same but leave the console on but turn off and unplug the TV & then when you turn it on again it will connect to the "live device" with the proper settings ?
@@90lancaster Sadly, fiddling around with the sound settings after the bug has already occurred doesn’t fix anything. Sound won’t come out of the TV no matter what setting I changed so I’m abit stumped there. I’ve never tried unplugging the TV before though as I’ve heard that it can damage if done before the pixel refresher finishes?
hello..I have a problem with my television..(LG 40 inch) it can't connect via wi-fi wave..the button that is being used stays inactive so it doesn't go active..in all other cases it's ok it goes active inactive without problem only in case of wave selection it doesn't go active..can you help me please..thanks
Could not find this method anywhere else on the web, my OLED G2 always had short annoying WiFi reconnects but suddenly it didn't even find any WiFi Network anymore. Thank you for this!
Thank you SO much! All my tech friends kept telling me to unplug and plug back in and then restart the router, but it finally hit me that the other two tvs in the house (Sony in the bedroom, Hisense in the bathroom in the basement) worked just fine. So it has to be the tv. I actually had so many disgusting realizations about this tv where it doesn't get about half of streaming services that I wanted to replace it. But it's a 3D tv that it seems no manufacturer makes anymore and the 3D quality is just too awesome to give up. I would never buy another LG tv, though. Thank you for your help with this! I did cheat a bit, though, and I held down the power button on the remote instead of on the tv, itself. And I didn't unplug the tv cuz it's a pain in the butt to get to the cords. It worked great! It did make me go thru the agreements section again...maybe that was coincidental.
This worked for me as well. The TV stopped detecting any WIFI networks, all of them. I did, at one point, forget where the remote was and used the physical power button underneath to turn it off... but I don't know if that was related. Anyways - thanks for the info! All back in working order.
Solution found, atleast in my situation... I have a LGG3. Brand new out the box.. problem was losing wifi constantly.. not able to make it through 15 mins of Netflix... solution.. I switched from 5g wifi to regular 2g or whatever the lesser option was. Seems 5g connectivity is an issue for this 2,000 doller tv. 😢 works jus fine w 2g. Thanks for reading
Wi-Fi connectivity seems to be an issue across many brands. I love my LG but it drops Wi-Fi many times. I was at my friends house and he got a new Samsung a few months ago and twice his TV has dropped the Wi-Fi and he had to do a factory reset.
Holy moly it worked on first try! I legit thought I was going mad with the entered incorrect password and having to check my password and resetting router a few times! Thanks so much! 👍🏻
Worked for me! Thanks!! Maybe I won't keep losing the red pointer now. Well I have to edit my comment bc it only worked for 2 minutes. Next time I'm buying a Samsung
thank for the no BS, no annoying music video with clear instructions - worked for me !
Legend - had the issue for a week, couldn’t find a fix anywhere! You sorted it in 2 minutes

My LG TV keeps losing WiFi all the time. Spoke to LG and they said pay for an engineer. Would never buy another one.
Same happening with my tv. Wifi working but randomly disconnected from oled. Customer care said call engineer
They told me the same thing... NEVER BUYING LG AGAIN

Evening Paul, haven't come across this yet on my C1 but I've stored this knowledge safely because i'm sure I will. Thanks.
THANKS MATE!!! You just saved me from throwing a brick through my bloody TV - Brad from Perth, Western Australia.
@tulinfirenze1990 no worries mate 👍
You’ve helped me multiple times with this video man I really appreciate it
Do you lose the apps you installed and that data when you unplug the power for a minute to do this fix?
Thank you in advance.
