This was super helpful to see! Would you ever do something like this in the Wicker Park or Logan Square area? Thinking about moving to Chicago from Boston/Cambridge and not super interested in high rises so would love to see more of the more of the low rise neighborhoods in Chi!
My mom is from Cambridge originally and I grew up on the South Shore. I’ve lived in Chicago for two years now. For low rise buildings/similar vibe to Cambridge and surrounding area, I would look at Lakeview/Lakeview East, Belmont, Lincoln Park, Wicker Park/Bucktown, or Logan Square. Hope this helps!
Hi Caira, I love your videos!!! I would choose the Convertible C, I love the designated space for the bedroom and all the finishes too. Please make more of these videos!!! I have watched all your apartment hunting videos, some even more than once as I love your style of videos. You could also do videos touring specific buildings like the one you did for Amli, showing the amenities and even the neighborhood around the same block. As a girlie from Florida I’d appreciate this as the city looks so different! Keep up the great content!! 🥰
That much for a studio is nuts and I live in River North. Was thinking about renting out my 1bd 1.5 ba 850 sqft condo with balcony for $2500 and this makes me rethink what I should ask for in terms of rent price.
I like Studio E. I plan on moving to the downtown Chicago area in 2028, so I am definitely doing a lot of research on housing options! Your videos are so helpful!
Lol you are in a suburb of Phoenix. The "I have a house in the burbs for x amount" is apples and oranges. People living in urban core don't want a house. Downtown Phoenix newer studios are $2K/month. And comparing Phoenix to Chicago as far as cities is laughable.
@@Chicago_JayhawkYou could find houses for a similar price on the south and west sides of Chicago that are a few blocks from the El. Chicago is losing population.
Even after living in Chicago for almost 10 years, it still blows my mind that the mortgage for my townhouse in the burbs in about half that of some Chicago studios lol

Balcony unit is the winner for me

Wow!! Can you divulge your timeline? Why 2028?
LOVE YOUR CHANNEL!!! I liked the balcony unit. Just curious Caira, do you sell brownstones as well?
These prices made me so happy and miss river north -New Yorker who lived in Chicago
Amazing video!
I liked the one in the Streeterville area that you referred to as "unique". That would be my choice.
My 4 bed 3 bath single family detached is $2500 mortgage in Phoenix metro area. Thank God 😊

@@Chicago_Jayhawk Phoenix is far better then Chicago. Chicago is crime ridden. Illinois is bankrupt.

@@MattSezer Chicago isn't losing population lol--it increased in the last official census 2020. And Illinois is now at it's highest population ever.
Liked the first one
Balcony ❤
Imagine paying 2k a month for a studio apartment couldn't be me.

Convertible A
I am disgusted at these prices 3k is a mortgage 😭
Why would anyone move into Chicago now? The city is dying while costal cities and southern states are thriving.
