I always recommend saving at least 6,000 dollars to put down on your lease. If you prorate that throughout your lease, it will keep you at or under your budget.
I’m not saving shit for no down payment. My down payment was my 4 years in the military.

Watching because I am considering trying to move closer into Seattle but unfortunately all those main neighborhoods are too far from work (technically my job is not in Seattle, but neighboring small city). It was still interesting to watch to see what the apartments look like up there! Maybe I could stretch Cap Hill if I was ok with a long commute, but I think I'll probably try to look for somewhere further south like Beacon Hill or even more south and just try to find somewhere with easy public transportation option into the city. Anyways, nice video!

Awesome video!! Things have really changed though when I left Seattle 7 years ago I paid $990. A month for a 1 bedroom on Capital Hill.

I pay $800 for my studio apartment with updated appliances 12min drive to a beach and everything .. about $1000 tops a month with gas and electric so what you are paying is crazy

No way in hell I'm paying 1700 for a studio. I'm glad I'm a Vet. My mortgage payment for my house in Renton is cheaper than that price for a studio apartment.
I can't even find a studio under 2k in my city... hence why im in my mid twenties working full time and still in my parents house lmao its tough out here
My apt is 480 sq ft open one bed and it’s $1650 a month. 15 min from downtown Seattle. Way too expensive 😢
i live on capital hill in one of the town house complexes and uhm the area is not so clean and safe
All of these apartments look the same.. when did motel chic become the trend? Seattle used to be so charming. Now it all looks like anywhere else, aside from the view.
