I liked #3 the best followed by 2. Love love that sweater!!!!!! So cute that Louie was so excited by the great deal, guess he's an ambassador for Moxie.🤗
I lived in an apartment like that and there’s days/nights I miss that view but I had to buy sunblocking curtains because it got HOT lolol even in the winter because I had a west facing unit so I got the evening sun. It was beautiful but brutal for a couple hours a day lol
my bf lives in a 1bd that’s $1195/mo and i live in a 1bd that’s $1595 (balcony, 1 block away from 606 bike trail) …. the “1bd under $2k is unheard of” is just wrong … both of our buildings are historic courtyard apartments with bigger units and way more character/charm than what’s being shown in this video.
@@kel_peyomg thanks for the insight! also curious about location bc I’m also leaving boston and the prices Caira was talking about had me thinking I may as well just stay in Boston 😅
@@rrw_18 we’re both in the logan square area, but avondale, ukrainian village, humboldt park, and other amazing neighborhood on the NW side have much more affordable housing. i’m a 15 min walk (through beautiful historic district) to two blue line stations that lead straight into the loop (just 5 stops away). i also have some friends in the irving park area that love their apartments as well.
White boxes. Why not ever show some apartments with character and maybe some vintage charm? Not everyone wants the cold cookie cutter highrise. Also would be great to see some condo buildings!
Question for ppl who live in big cities / apartment buildings like this: is there no way to open the windows? That feels surprising to me cause I always have the fresh air flowing in the warm months. If so, does that ever bother you or do you just get used to it? Is the indoor air stuffy? K ty ❤️
most apartments in a high rise will have one or two windows that 'crack' open at the bottom of the window. I have not seen any apts in Chicago that have windows that open like single family homes. The windows are not an issue and you get plenty of air flow being high up.
Just the video I was looking for and was hoping you would have done something on soon. Awesome.

I liked the second one with the floor to ceiling windows 😊

My boyfriend and I are looking to move to Chicago from Boston in the near future! This was so helpful, thank you

@@kel_pey thanks for the additional info, are you open to sharing the names of the areas these are in?

I want that sweater. Great video Caira. 🥰❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The 3rd is my favorite, will love to intern with you when I move to the US for my MSc program.

Why am I still renting in N.Y I have no idea. This is what you get for under $3k that’s awesome!!!!!!❤
You know she’s a true chitown girl bc she still calls it Sears Tower. Truth.
#3 is gorgeous! ❤
And the view!
Would love to share my 1-bed condo on your channel! Our mortgage is less than $2k in Chicago and in prime north side neighborhood!
It's all about Lakeview for me.
Can you help4 female DePaul students find something affordable for 8/24 move in?
$2000 a month is not budget..
Waste of money. $2k is a mortgage payment on a Chicago bungalow with a finished basement, back yard, and garage.
That’s exactly my goal for a house in Portage Park. You are spot on.
